We apologize for the caps, but it seems that gets attention: PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE PROFILE AND INQUIRE OR APPLY AS REQUESTED BELOW, IF YOU MEET THE CRITERIA FOR ADOPTION. WE CANNOT TAKE PHONE CALL INQUIRIES, AS RESCUE IS TOO BUSY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND COOPERATION!
Ruth Anne is a Miniature Poodle, 2 years old & 9 pounds of lively, smart, cuddly sweetness She is fostered in Beaverton, Oregon.
She is house trained & crate trained, does well in doggy daycare, & enjoys playing with easygoing small dogs. She likes learning, knows many training cues, & is good at solving doggy puzzles.
Ruth Anne vocalizes in excitement, when she sees other dogs while walking or in the car, though not at all times. She plays nicely with other small dogs she knows, and does great in daycare without barking,. She is entirely non-aggressive. Her vocalizing can be barking or a screeching sound. Given her noises, we are seeking an owned home on owned land, with a securely fenced yard, and another small nice dog. We also seek folks who agree to hire a force free trainer if they have issues with her noise. This will be a requirement of adoption.
Ruth Anne is spayed, micro-chipped, and vaccinated. She comes with her own bed, toys, leashes, and crate. Her adoption fee is $450.
A great home for Ruth Anne and her must haves include:
1. An owned home, on owned land, with a securely fenced yard.
2. Another small dog that is nice.
3. Folks who are around a lot; Ruth Anne does fine at home on her own and is crate trained, but she prefers the company of her people and we want that for her.
4. Adopters who will give her the exercise and stimulation that a young dog loves and needs,
5. People who know the cost of grooming and are prepared for that regular expense to keep her comfortable and looking her super cute self.
6. She likes kids, and because of her small size, kids over the ages of 8/9 with great dog manners will be considered.
7. Folks who will hire a force free (no punishment/non-aversive) trainer if they need help with Ruth Anne.
8. Ruth Anne is a young dog. We want her to live our her life in her next home without having to undergo another transition. Please be young enough to ensure that you will be able to care for Ruth Anne for the rest of her life.
