Her adoption fee is flexible - you may name your own.This sweet senior girl came to us as an owner surrender due to her previous family not having the funds to treat her eyes and needing to move. Despite everything she's been through, Ms. Lady remains gentle, loving, and full of quiet charm.She can't see very well, and she does have dry eyes that will require lifelong treatment. Our vets also noted she has chronic allergic dermatitis, likely atopy, and she recently received a Cytopoint injection to help her feel more comfortable. Through it all, she has been patient, kind, and grateful for every bit of care and affection.Ms. Lady is the definition of a calm, cozy companion - the kind of dog who just wants a soft place to rest, a gentle hand to reassure her, and a loving home to help her enjoy her golden years. At about 1 year old and only 8 pounds, this tiny girl has a whole lot of love packed into her little body!Muffin was found as a stray, completely matted and in desperate need of some TLC. We gave her the time and care she needed, and she was placed on a stray hold in hopes that her family would come looking for her. Sadly, no one ever came forward to reclaim her.While we may never know what happened to Muffin before she came to us, we do know that she is an incredibly sweet little girl who is ready to leave her stray days behind and start a brand-new chapter. We have been fostering a pet for an elder family member with health issues, who is no longer able to care for his pet. Unfortunately, we are unable to keep him due to our busy work and travel schedules. Bud is sweet and a good dog, but he's experiencing some separation anxiety. He wants to be near you all the time. He indicates when he needs to go outside, and he's good with people and good with kids. He's not used to the concept of going on walks, but he likes walks.... he just prefers to do his business in the back yard vs on a walk.

Smokey will be 2 years old in January 2027. He is super friendly and loving. He is still young so he gets very excited around new people. Doesn’t bite never have. He has an undercoat, so he need groomed frequently. Which has become too much for me. He pees on a pad and he pees outside. You just have to take him outside. When he goes outside, he needs to be on a leash because he is people-friendly and if he sees anybody, he will run to them. He is crate trained he sleeps in a crate at night and when I leave the house. He wants to be around you all the time. He loves kids. He also has a lot of energy. Smoky has allergies. I tried putting preventative flea drops on his back. He scratched off his hair. I put a flea collar on him once and he broke out all over his neck because he scratched it raw so he probably needs to be on a special diet which I can’t afford and I can’t afford to keep taking him to the doctor for his allergies. Other than that he is perfect. I am the sick one.

When Gizmo first came to us, he was in rough shape with a long, dirty, severely matted coat—clear signs of neglect and time spent fending for himself. After a much-needed grooming and care, he’s feeling so much better and starting to shine both inside and out.
