Story
Boots was abandoned by her feral mother when she was a very young kitten. She is one year old. She tries to suckle on your arm when she jumps into your lap. I feed her separately from my other cats because she will growl and try to eat their food. She has gone outside only in my catio. She would do best in a single cat household, as she does not get along with my other 3 cats. She likes to play and is very vocal. She is litter box trained.

Story
Coco is sponsored by: Karen Langland SNAP Cats rescued Coco from San Francisco, CA. Coco is extremely sweet and outgoing. She’s then first kitty to greet you when entering our FeLV+ Habitat, and hounds you for pets and attention until you leave. Coco is great with other cats, and uses the litter box 100% of the time. Here's Coco's whole story: Coco was given to Mike Zeidan, of Randa's Market in San Francisco, to be a mouser. Mike’s previous store kitty was the beloved KitKat who lived at the market for 8 years before being run over and killed by a Waymo car. You might have heard about this incident. It was all over the news and was quite traumatic for Mike and the 16th street community, who all knew and loved KitKat. So Mike took Coco in to be spayed and was crushed when Coco turned out to be FeLV+. He was going to return Coco to the original guardian until he found out there were other cats living there. Now what? Enter Karen, a huge SNAP Cats supporter. Karen knows Mike through her hubby, Rick, who works at the Roxie theater next door Mike’s Market and who helped Mike navigate the whole publicity generated by the Waymo death of KitKat. Still following? So Karen reached out to us… And the rest is history.May 15, 2026, 7:43 pm

Story
Merlin is Sponsored by: Margaret Loftus SNAP Cats rescued Merlin from Madera County, CA. Merlin is a real sweetheart. He loves human attention, and gets along with other kitties. Merlin’s head tilt is due to a bad untreated ear infection. We think it adds a lot of character! We believe Merlin’s twisted rear leg is a birth defect. None of this matters because Merlin gets around just fine. He’s a low maintenance kitty who deserves a wonderful, loving home. Is that your home? PLEASE NOTE: Merlin is currently spraying. We don’t know if it’s because of the environment here (other cats spraying) or not, but this should be taken into consideration. If you’re interested in Merlin please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/adoption-process/. Thanks!May 15, 2026, 7:43 pm

Story
For three years, Aria lived with an elderly woman, Karen, a family member of ours, who is now not able to stay in her home. Karen says that she adopted Aria shortly after the cat delivered a litter and was spayed. We are family mAria is an affectionate cat, though until eight days ago, she was confined to one room for most of her life, since Karen felt that Aria would run away if given a chance. In hour home since May 9, she goes inside and out freely, and will come to the sound of a human voice. She has not sought an opportunity to escape. She seems confident and has adjusted well to the presence of our large and enthusiastically friendly Lab mix.The only problem we have had is that she will jumping onto counters and tabletops; she does seem responsive to gentle correction.Aria has a vet in Windsor who likely has her records, which I will seek out. Looking for a kind and loving home. I believe she would be a fine companion for an adult or family.

Story
Smart, Fetch-Playing Boy Needs Experienced, Single-Pet HomeMeet a handsome, incredibly smart boy who is the perfect mix of independent and affectionate. He loves all toys, plays fetch, and cute-ly trills at light reflections! He is highly food-motivated (loves all treats) and very teachable, but dislikes involuntary handling and needs a handler who respects his boundaries.Ideal Home Requirements:• Strictly No Other Pets: Will bully other cats; needs to be an only pet.• Adults-Only: No kids or future kids.• Experienced Owner: MustFemale owner preferredunderstand feline body language.Behavior Note: He has a 5-year history of redirected aggression when highly startled/overstimulated. With a baby on the way, his current home is no longer the quiet environment he needs to succeed. He is not mean, just reactive. In a predictable, low-stress home without other animals, his reactivity can be safely managed. Owner is a previous vet professional and can provide full history.

Story
Prince may be shy at first, but don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you—this noble feline has a heart as golden as his name! His favorite place is his cozy “castle”—a soft bed, carrier, or a cardboard box with a blanket, where he feels safe and secure. Recently, Prince has begun leaving his fortress to perch on the cat tower, where he enjoys surveilling his kingdom. He’ll graciously sniff your hand and may accept a toy as a friendly offering, though you’ll have to earn his trust for head pats! Ready to pledge your loyalty to cat royalty? Adopt Prince today!
