NOTE:Submit the adoption interest application directly at our HSNB website:https://www.hsnb.org/cat-adoption-applicationWe may not receive anything submitted through PetFinder or Adopt-A-Pet! If you do not receive confirmation from us, email cat-adoptions@hsnb.org . -----Malina is a sweet, affectionate, and socially curious girl who truly enjoys being around people. She'll happily greet you with a soft little meow and often settles nearby, purring contentedly just to share your company. She's not necessarily a "lap cat," but she could be if invited, loves to being close or being held for a while - altho having you in the same room is enough to make her happy. She enjoys gentle petting and will let you know when she's had enough with a soft paw touch or a light, polite nibble - just her way of communicating her boundaries. She thrives with calm respectful interaction.Malina has playful moments, especially in the mornings and evenings. She enjoys batting toys around, chasing them, and even playing a little fetch! She prefers toys over hands and does best with slower, predictable movements, as fast or intense play can startle her - though she recovers quickly. She is litter box trained, curious, and loves to explore. While she doesn't seem drawn to high perches, she's very interested in doors and vertical spaces, so a tall cat tree or climbing structure may become a favorite hangout spot!Malina is medium-to-low energy overall and would be a wonderful companion in a calm home. She appears comfortable around gentle dogs and, even if briefly startled, tends to pause rather than run and re-engage again on her terms. If you're looking for a sweet, social companion who enjoys closeness (without needing constant lap time, but some attention) and communicates clearly and respectfully, Malina may be your perfect match.Adoption fee: $150 Primary Color: Silver Secondary Color: Cream Weight: 15.4375 Age: 1yrs 7mths 1wks

Best Match : Seeking an adopter with substantial experience Would be most comfortable in a calm adult only home Needs to be the only cat Needs to be indoor only Mocha is a girl that likes things on her terms- when to be pet and when to play! She needs an adopter that is familiar with cat body language and knows and respects boundaries. Once you have this down- she will be giving you head butts, leg rubs and snuggling into your chest while you are sleeping.  Her foster says: "She loves to lounge around in her cat bed or watch out the windows. She is curious about any work that I do around the house, but leaves me alone at my computer desk, save for putting her paws on the side of my chair when she wants pets or playtime." If you have the patience and love for this pretty gal, and experience living with cats- especially ones with some behavior challenges-she could be just the thing for your calm household! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form ! Best Match : Seeking an adopter with some experience Could join a quiet home with teens Part of a bonded pair Needs an inhaler twice daily Needs to be indoor only Honolulu loves to play, solo or with her sister Dallas. She can be seen cuddling with her sister most of the day if not playing, or talking to you about her day. She likes pets, but has not settled into laps yet. Her foster says they are both excellent biscuit makers! They are pretty wary of new people and they will need some time to warm up in a new environment.  Honolulu has asthma and requires an inhaler twice daily to keep her comfortable. Her foster has been working with her on building positive associations with her inhaler to make daily administration lower stress. Honolulu's adopter will need to continue working with her on a low stress inhaler routine– with the support of Cat Town! They are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form ! Story
Best Match : Seeking an adopter with some experience Could join a quiet home with teens Part of a bonded pair Needs to be indoor only Dallas is a chill girl that loves hanging out near you, or cuddled up with her sister Honolulu. Dallas loves to lounge all day, especially near a heater or on a heated cat bed, but does occasionally join in on playtime. Her foster says they are both excellent biscuit makers! They are pretty wary of new people and they will need some time to warm up in a new environment. Dallas is a little more shy and skittish than Honolulu, and when you go to pet her, you need to go slow as she is flinchy, and then watch for overstimulation during- which is usually a very light paw touch or nibble. They are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form ! Story
We adopted TOMO from PetSmart when he was a little over 1 year old, and he is now about 2 years old. He has been an indoor-only cat since we adopted him. He is a Siamese flame point cat with rare markings pattern. He is a very friendly and social cat who loves being around people. Whenever guests come over, he is usually the first to walk up and greet them. He has a curious and confident personality and enjoys being part of the household activity. He would do best in a loving home where he can get attention and companionship. He’s affectionate, gentle, and easygoing, and would be a great companion for someone looking for a friendly indoor cat. One thing to note is that he doesn’t like being carried, but he is still very comfortable being around people and enjoys interaction on his own terms. Overall, hes a sweet, social, and charming cat who deserves a caring new home.
