Story
Muffin is a petite, calm, and affectionate companion who is slowly adjusting to the new environment of Milo. Though she may seem shy and cautious at first, she has a sweet, loving nature waiting to blossom. With her mellow and independent personality, Muffin enjoys gentle affection on her own terms. She’s great with other calm pets and would do best in a home with patient, pet-savvy children aged 10 and up who understand the importance of approaching her slowly and respectfully. Litter box trained and naturally well-mannered, Muffin is a thoughtful, easygoing companion once she settles in. With time, patience, and gentle love, she will reward her family with quiet devotion and soft, affectionate moments. Muffin is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe, loved, and finally let her sweet personality shine.

NOTE:Submit the adoption interest application directly at our HSNB website:https://www.hsnb.org/cat-adoption-applicationWe may not receive anything submitted through PetFinder or Adopt-A-Pet! If you do not receive confirmation from us, email cat-adoptions@hsnb.org . -----Malina is a sweet, affectionate, and socially curious girl who truly enjoys being around people. She'll happily greet you with a soft little meow and often settles nearby, purring contentedly just to share your company. She's not necessarily a "lap cat," but she could be if invited, loves to being close or being held for a while - altho having you in the same room is enough to make her happy. She enjoys gentle petting and will let you know when she's had enough with a soft paw touch or a light, polite nibble - just her way of communicating her boundaries. She thrives with calm respectful interaction.Malina has playful moments, especially in the mornings and evenings. She enjoys batting toys around, chasing them, and even playing a little fetch! She prefers toys over hands and does best with slower, predictable movements, as fast or intense play can startle her - though she recovers quickly. She is litter box trained, curious, and loves to explore. While she doesn't seem drawn to high perches, she's very interested in doors and vertical spaces, so a tall cat tree or climbing structure may become a favorite hangout spot!Malina is medium-to-low energy overall and would be a wonderful companion in a calm home. She appears comfortable around gentle dogs and, even if briefly startled, tends to pause rather than run and re-engage again on her terms. If you're looking for a sweet, social companion who enjoys closeness (without needing constant lap time, but some attention) and communicates clearly and respectfully, Malina may be your perfect match.Adoption fee: $150 Primary Color: Silver Secondary Color: Cream Weight: 15.4375 Age: 1yrs 7mths 4wks

Best Match : Seeking an adopter with substantial experience Would be most comfortable in a calm adult only home Needs to be the only cat Needs to be indoor only Mocha is a girl that likes things on her terms- when to be pet and when to play! She needs an adopter that is familiar with cat body language and knows and respects boundaries. Once you have this down- she will be giving you head butts, leg rubs and snuggling into your chest while you are sleeping.  Her foster says: "She loves to lounge around in her cat bed or watch out the windows. She is curious about any work that I do around the house, but leaves me alone at my computer desk, save for putting her paws on the side of my chair when she wants pets or playtime." If you have the patience and love for this pretty gal, and experience living with cats- especially ones with some behavior challenges-she could be just the thing for your calm household! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form ! Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some experience Could join a quiet home with teens Part of a bonded pair with Dallas Needs an inhaler twice daily Needs to be indoor only Beautiful Siamese girl Honolulu is quick to purr, enjoys some lap time, and loves loves loves to be pet! Need to know more? She’s bonded to sister Dallas and both are excellent at making biscuits.  Honolulu loves to play (on her own or with Dallas) and is a creative and avid hunter! She can play with just about anything by chasing, “capturing” and carrying her prey in her mouth while parading around the house and meowing. Sounds like a photo op!  The preferred daily routine begins with pets and playtime before breakfast. The rest of the day is spent playing, sleeping, and exploring along with sisterly snuggling and grooming. Honolulu is a vocal girl and will sometimes alert her person if she’s  hungry and dinner has yet to be served. She may also ask your opinion — play or pets or both before mealtime? Both Honolulu and Dallas are still working on their confidence. Sometimes they look like they want to jump on the couch and sit in the lap of their human or nearby, according to their foster. They are also wary around new people. Honolulu has asthma and is currently taking pills while she learns to use an inhaler. She’s very smart and her foster has been working to build positive associations with the process to make it less stressful. Her adopter will need to continue providing a low stress routine, and consult with their vet on her continued care. They are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form !
