Murietta came from a hoarder’s house. The house was so crowded with stuff and other cats that Murietta was forced to find a place to call her own - the rafters. It’s been years since Murietta was rescued from that hoarder’s house but the horrors she lived through are fresh in her head. Years later, she still prefers the rafters. She likes to be up high. Her tower is her security. Murietta doesn’t live completely in her castle in the clouds. When she does venture down to earth, she loves to curl up with her friend Scrappy. Scrappy is very similar in purrsonality to Murietta. He hasn’t been convinced that he needs to interact with humans. Both Murietta and Scrappy are sweet cats. There’s not a bad bone in their bodies. They just prefer cats to humans. Their adopter needs to appreciate their preferences. Murietta is very bonded to her friend Scrappy. She must be adopted with him. From his foster: Baby is a sweet and polite old boy who came to TBB after his owner passed away. He has mostly kept to himself so far, but has shown to be a total lover boy once he's feeling comfortable. He really enjoys being brushed, which is great considering his beautiful long hair! He is indifferent towards my resident dog and cat and seems to prefer the company of people. It may take him a little bit of time to come out of his shell, but Baby is a fluffy sweetheart who would love to spend his golden years in a quiet and low-key home.
