His playful curiosity keeps life entertaining, and he’s always ready to turn everyday objects into his next adventure. Mello is extremely snuggly and has a special talent for slowly crawling up to settle right on your chest… or even your face if you’ll let him! That said, he does appreciate having his own space sometimes and enjoys lounging by the window, happily watching the world go by. He’s been very friendly with babies and has done well around little ones. However, loud or sudden noises can startle him — especially when tiny humans turn into tiny “raptors,” as they sometimes do! Svetlana is playful, loving, and completely adorable. She’s a true snugglebug who loves curling up with her person, happily making biscuits while soaking up affection. When she’s not cuddling, she’s busy entertaining herself with life’s simple joys—folded socks, strings, and boxes are her favorite toys. She has a hilarious “hunter” streak and proudly stalks dish towels from the kitchen, delivering her prizes straight to her chosen human like a gift of love. Svetlana is very curious about the outdoors and would love to explore, but she’s kept safely inside since she lives on a busy street and her people love her far too much to take any chances. Svetlana does have a skin condition that she takes medication for, and she handles it like a champ. With her care routine, she’s comfortable and happy. Sweet, silly, and full of personality, Svetlana has a way of stealing hearts the moment you meet her.

Yes, my person really did name me Calico. Why is that strange? Well, because I am Siamese, if you please. I’m at least 7 years old, but who am I to say? I am one of ten cats whose owner died last year, and way back last summer, Paws and Claws found us a foster home because our person’s family couldn’t take care of us. I’m one of those who is still waiting for a home. It took a while for me to come out of my shell, but now I ask to be petted. I am feeling good and am eating quite well now that I had some dental work done. I’m not too interested in playing, but I generally get along with most other cats.
