Oliver or Olli is a great cat calm cuddler loves being held or just laying around with you. He is great with kids. Not good with large dogs

Originally got him as a gift for my little brother and he ended up proving a little too irresponsible. I’ve had him for about 6 months now and the only issue is that Jabari is a very social and playful guy. I work a lot and am not in a situation where I can even consider getting another cat. He needs a buddy or at the very least someone with the time to keep him entertained.

My brother Gerald and I grew up together after arriving at Animal Ark as tiny kittens. We were adopted in January 2024, and for a while, we truly believed we had found our forever home. But life changed for our family, and suddenly there wasn’t enough time for us anymore. Losing our home has been confusing and sad, but through it all, Phoebe and I have leaned on each other the way we always have. We’re safe, we’re together, and we’re hoping—really hoping—that someone out there is ready to love a pair of young cats who already love each other deeply. My previous family described me as friendly, affectionate, and sweet-natured. I was cautious and reserved with the children in our home. We don’t have experience with dogs or other cats, so any new introductions should be slow and patient. But with kindness and time, we’ll settle in and show you who we really are. If your heart has room for two, and you’re dreaming of a pair of loving young adults who will fill your home with warmth, please come meet us. Meet Mello! Mello is a very talkative, loving boy with a personality as big as his voice! He may take a day or so to warm up, but once he does, he’s all in — following you from room to room as your loyal little shadow. He absolutely adores his people and thrives on companionship. This silly guy believes everything is a toy. If it wasn’t made for cats, that just makes it more interesting! His playful curiosity keeps life entertaining, and he’s always ready to turn everyday objects into his next adventure. Mello is extremely snuggly and has a special talent for slowly crawling up to settle right on your chest… or even your face if you’ll let him! That said, he does appreciate having his own space sometimes and enjoys lounging by the window, happily watching the world go by. He’s been very friendly with babies and has done well around little ones. However, loud or sudden noises can startle him — especially when tiny humans turn into tiny “raptors,” as they sometimes do! Because of this, a calmer home environment would suit him best. Mello would truly thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. He gets lonely and isn’t shy about expressing it — he is a very mouthy boy and will happily chat with you about his feelings. Anyone considering Mello should appreciate a vocal cat who loves to communicate. If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate, entertaining companion who will keep you company and keep you laughing, Mello might just be your perfect match!
