Remy recently found herself in foster care after being surrendered by an unhoused owner who simply could no longer care for her. Such a heartbreaking separation at this stage of life is hard on any pet, but Remy has taken it all in stride and adapted wonderfully to the comforts of home. With age comes a few special needs, but this golden girl makes every single one of them worth it. Remy has some muscle loss and joint stiffness in her hips that cause her to walk with a bit of a limp. She is an absolute star about her healthcare: she takes her pain medication and joint supplements mixed right into her wet food (breakfast and dinner are her favorite times of day!). While she still loves surveying her kingdom from elevated spots, she’s a sensible lady who just needs a little help—like a ramp or restricted access—to keep her from leaping down from high surfaces. Because her back legs aren't always able to reach every spot during grooming, she appreciates a little help keeping her gorgeous Siamese-point calico coat in order, a pampering session she absolutely adores. She also has a handful of endearing old lady quirks that her foster mom would be more than happy to fill you in on! Remy has breathtaking eyes and a heart of gold. She isn't a cat who will demand to be glued to your lap 24/7, but she deeply loves affectionate pets and will happily curl up right beside you when it’s time for one of her many daily naps. She is unfazed by dogs, cats, and kids, viewing them all with calm curiosity. Her dream retirement home is one centered around single-floor living (easily managed with a simple baby gate, as she doesn’t attempt to jump them), cozy sunbeams, and endless chin scratches. Someone who can help her stay gently active without wearing out her joints on her stiffer days would be her ideal match. 🐾 Meet Tanner! 🐾 Tanner is a big boy with a BIG heart—and once he decides you’re his person, congratulations! You’ve been chosen. ❤️ This sweet guy is a professional lounger, part-time playmate and full-time cuddle buddy. He’s pretty relaxed and would much rather hang out close to his person than run laps around the house. He’ll play when the mood strikes, but he does tire out a little more easily, so his ideal schedule is basically: play a little, nap a lot, cuddle often. And Tanner LOVES his people. Give him cheek scratches, chin scratches and forehead kisses and he’s a happy guy. He’ll snuggle up by your head, ask for pets and sometimes even wrap his paws around your arm for a little extra affection. 🥹 At bedtime, he likes to curl up by your feet—because apparently even sleep requires proximity to his favorite human. Tanner is friendly with adults and handles meeting new people well. He hasn’t lived with kids, so that remains a mystery. With other cats, he prefers a slow introduction with plenty of sniffing and one-on-one time before becoming roommates. When it comes to playtime, Tanner is all about the wand toys! He loves chasing things across the floor and pouncing when they get near his paws. He also enjoys kickers and his crinkle mat, where he can hunt for his favorite mousey. 🐭 One of Tanner’s best features? His chirp! When his foster comes home, he gets so excited that he sounds like he’s saying, “HELLO! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!” And those little chirps are guaranteed to make you smile. Tanner is litter-box trained and needs a larger box to accommodate his handsome size. He knows his name but hasn’t mastered any official commands yet—which is probably fine, because he has absolutely no plans to be a dog. 😹 Tanner would be a fantastic companion for a homebody. He’s perfectly happy doing his own thing, but what he really wants is to be near his person. If your idea of a good day involves a comfy bed, soft blankets, a little playtime and a furry buddy who wants to hang out with you, Tanner may be your guy! ❤️

Meet Ringo, a stunning boy with a gorgeous coat and beautiful blue eyes! Behind that handsome exterior is a sweet, scared little guy who is learning that people can be trusted and that life can be a pretty wonderful place. Ringo and his foster mom are working hard together, and he is slowly discovering that he is safe. He’ll need a patient person who understands that building trust doesn’t happen overnight and who will celebrate the little victories along the way. A steady supply of Churus certainly wouldn’t hurt, either! Ringo’s ideal home is a quiet one where he can decompress, settle in, and get comfortable at his own pace. He needs someone who will respect his space and boundaries while he gets his bearings and allow him to decide when he is ready for the next step. For now, Ringo is looking for a peaceful home without children or other animals. His person should be willing to give him the time, patience, and consistency he needs to build his confidence and discover the rewards of trusting his humans. Ringo may be a work in progress, but every brave step forward is another glimpse of the wonderful cat waiting underneath his initial uncertainty.
