He is a gentle soul who is still reserved but slowly warming up to the world around him. While he can be a little skittish at first, he completely melts into your arms when held, showing just how much love he has to give. Roan is playful with his siblings and enjoys their company, so he will need another young cat in his forever home to keep him happy and confident. Though he is small in size, he has a big personality and a loud voice when he wants something. With patience and affection, Roan will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. that was found roaming the streets of Eagle Pass. Thankfully a wonderful vet found him and worked on gaining his trust. Once a former street thug, this boy is now a reformed house cat that loves all the attention and food he can get. He enjoys the comforts of home and would like one of his very own. He enjoys toys, scratches and all the love you can give. Write it in a heartfelt but fun tone. Meet the newly reformed Iced Mocha! Once a rugged "street thug" roaming the streets of Eagle Pass, this handsome one-year-old Siamese boy has traded his rough-and-tumble past for the plush life of a house cat. Found and saved by a compassionate vet who patiently earned his trust, Iced Mocha discovered the sheer joy of human affection and decided the stray life just wasn’t for him. Now, he’s a gentleman of leisure who adores the comforts of home, whether it’s lounging in a sunbeam or getting endless scratches behind his ears. He approaches every meal with gusto and is quite the enthusiast for toy-driven playtime. Iced Mocha is ready to put his paws up for good and is searching for his forever home—a place where love, attention, and perhaps an extra treat or two, are always in supply. Open your heart and home to this sweet boy; he promises to pay you back in purrs and companionship!

To adopt, go to: www.mendingspirits.org/apply-to-adopt.html   From the Foster Family: Esmeray (affectionately called Ezzie) is a stunning 7-year-old lilac point Siamese with mesmerizing blue eyes. She came to Mending Spirits after her previous family could no longer keep her. Ezzie is a calm, content girl who finds joy in life’s simple comforts, like curling up in a sunny spot for an afternoon nap. While she can be shy at first and takes her time warming up, she has never been aggressive or hissed. With patience and kindness, she blossoms—seeking out affection on her own terms and happily settling into your lap for as long as you’re willing to keep petting her. Ezzie is becoming more playful as she grows comfortable in her foster home. She enjoys gentle, engaging toys—especially wand toys and fishing-pole style toys that let her interact without feeling overwhelmed. She does especially well with slow, gentle introductions to new people and environments, and would thrive in a quiet, predictable home where she can feel safe and secure. About Me: Hi, my name is Esmeray. I’m a 7-year-old Siamese who recently lost the only home I had ever known. Adjusting to a new place has been scary, but I’m slowly finding my comfort again. I love spending my days napping in a sunny corner and curling up in a soft bed. Once I feel safe with you, I’ll happily climb into your lap, purr softly, and stay there for a cozy nap. I’ve also started to rediscover playtime—wand toys and gentle interactive toys are my favorites. With slow, gentle introductions, I do wonderfully and can build trust at my own pace. I’m hoping to find a calm, loving home where I can feel secure and cherished again. December 8, 2025, 2:26 pm

Story
I have had Twig for 14 years. She was bonded to my cat that passed away 4 years ago and we've struggled to normalize her life and behavior since. The loss of her friend has made her territorial and needs to be the only animal in a home. I have 2 other cats and she's exhibited aggression towards the younger animals as they also need my attention. I brought in a cat behavioralist and the outcome was - she needs to be an only pet. On her own, she's a sweet, affectionate old lady that wants your attention and a warm spot to sleep all day. She's currently separated from the other cats in her own room and uses the litter box flawlessly. If she feels threatened or her territory encroached on, she will mark what she believes is her space. So some space integration and trust building with her will go a long way. I can provide the litter box she uses and her medical records. The $50 fee is to assure you're serious and can care for her - and will be donated to the Bitty Kitty Brigade.

Story
I believe this cat was abandoned in my neighborhood and I rescued it before it got too cold. It is living in my basement and he is ridiculously friendly and super sweet. I had him vaccinated and vetted last weekend, he is super healthy and the vet commented on how friendly he is. He is about 18 months old and is a flamepoint siamese. I am rehoming him because he wants to hunt my 13-year-old black cat. I realize in time they may be able to live together in peace, but I do not want to put my black cat through that stress. I want Chippy to go to a good, loving home. He has a neutering appointment December 9 but would like to get him into a new home before then. I just want to make sure he goes to a family who can afford to keep him for the rest of his life and make an investment in his well being. Again, he is super friendly. BTW, I have spent more than $400 in vetting - he is completely healthy, and has all of his vaccinations.
