Story
Skye is an 8-year-old Siamese mix who has been a loved part of our family for many years. She was found as a tiny kitten along the side of the road in 2018 and became our teenager’s pet. During COVID, and a move on our part, my mom took her in, and they quickly bonded.Due to my elderly mom's declining health, she can no longer care for Skye, and we want to find her a home that better suits her personality and needs. We have taken Skye in again, but have since gotten another cat. Despite efforts we cannot convince the two to get along.Skye is independent, strong-willed, and a bit of a “slow burn.” She prefers affection on her own terms, but with time and trust she becomes affectionate and enjoys lap time, head butts, and forehead kisses. She may not give the best first impression, as siamese are known for, but patience pays off. She wants to be an only cat. She lives with two Labs and does well if they respect her space. She is primarily an indoor cat but enjoys time outside.

Story
My cousin had the cats living in a big pull barn that stored cars, it was air conditioned and had heat. They have never been outside. Tom does have a brother named Jerry. They are bonded since kittens, they are from the same litter. My cousin couldn’t take care of them anymore so I took them in until I could find a foster or home. I am allergic to cats so the sooner the better. Tom is very much like a dog and is laid back and very smart. He just wants cuddles. He is great with new people, children, dogs, and other cats.Jerry is the long haired black cat! He can either go with Tom or be adopted separately! Jerry is also good with cats, dogs, anyone really! He is a little more shy but is very lovey after a week of him getting adjusted to your new place! He loves his brother very much and I would like them to be adopted together! I also have cat carriers and a new water fountain that can go with them!

Story
Tulip may not have a lot of spring in her step as a senior kitty, but she adores being nurtured and tended to. One of her many favorite pastimes is sitting in a windowsill where she can catch the warmth of the sun or the breeze of the air. When not napping,Tulip craves chin, cheek, and behind-the-ear scratches. She'll patiently wait for you to approach and then leads you to her favorite place for stretching out for petting and brushing, all the while vocalizing how much she yearns for your affections. And if you sit down in your favorite chair, expect to soon have a cat in your arms. Being held is highly sought after by this sweet and gentle Seal Point Siamese. So, if you're looking for a comfort creature as a companion, Tulip will thrive in your care. She'll quickly settle into a low-stress environment where she can blossom and soak up her essential needs and desires. Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!

Story
Diya, is very loving and caring. She would follow me everywhere and almost understand things like get down or sit down before feeding her. She loves to play. She gets along with kittens or dogs. Shy at first but ever open once she’s comfortable which doesn’t take her long. Diya, doesn’t eat human food. Only cat food. She likes to play and talk. She’s really comforting when going through things like anxiety. She does well in cars. She enjoys her snacks and wet food. She likes watching the tv. She’s Friendly, shy, affectionate, independent, playful, lap cat, vocal, etc. she’s Comfortable with adults, children, or strangers. She uses the litter box consistently and without any issues. Has been healthy just not sure what’s going on with her eyes. My neighbor lost her apartment and took the cat in . Had her for 4 months. I just can’t afford the cat and believe that she deserves a lovely home. Financially, I’m not stabled and mentally going through things on my own. Thank you!

Story
Auden is an 8-year-old gentle boy looking for his forever home. This sweet, sensitive cat may be shy at first, but with a little patience, his affectionate personality begins to shine. In a new environment, you'll often find him tucked away in his cozy cave bed. Once he feels safe and comfortable, Auden loves to give head bumps, soak up attention, and curl up in his favorite person's lap. He is also happy to simply relax nearby, keeping his humans company while they go about their day.Auden has a moderate energy level and enjoys a balance of playtime and quiet companionship. His favorite toys are wand and ribbon toys, especially when he can pounce from the comfort of a box or his cave bed. Watching him swat, chase, and chomp at his moving target is a great way to win his heart.Currently, Auden lives with his foster mom and a resident cat. He would love a feline friend who is interested in playing, as he seems to gain confidence from the company of other cats. In fact, Auden often appears more comfortable around cats than humans!Auden's ideal adopter will understand that trust takes time and be willing to let him settle in at his own pace. Once he feels secure, he rewards that patience with affection and companionship. He especially enjoys being pet along his back and may invite head pets with a gentle head bump first.Auden is declawed, neutered, and gets along well with other cats. He has not yet been exposed to dogs or children. He also had dental work completed when he arrived at Pet Haven and may need dental care again as he gets older. If you're looking for a kindhearted companion who will blossom with patience and love, Auden may be the perfect match for you.- - - - - - - - - - - -There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Story
Name: Max  Age: 10 (DOB 3/28/2016) Weight: 9 pounds Gender: Male Breed: Seal Point Siamese mix  Coat Length: Short  Color: Seal Point Dog friendly: testing available upon request Cat friendly: Yes, after slow introductions Child friendly: Older, school-aged, calmer, respectful children Litter Box Trained: yes Temperament: Outgoing, affectionate, talkative  Energy Level: low/moderate  Adoption Fee: $100 + tax To adopt, go to:  www.mendingspirits.org/apply-to-adopt.html From the Foster Family: Looking for a new best friend? Look no further....   Max is a stunning 10-year-old Siamese who came to Mending Spirits when his family could no longer keep him. His entire world was flipped upside down so he took some time to settle into my home as he was grieving these losses. I found that by giving him plenty of patience, time and love (and wet cat food and churro treats) he has really started to blossom. Max prefers to follow me all around the house with cute little meows and enjoys our conversations throughout the day. He will often cuddle up next to me in the evening when I am working on a craft or watching a movie. He is just starting to show interest in toys especially wand type toys and fishing poles with feathers at the end. At night he is ready to settle into bed with me where he will cuddle in close with his purr motor going. Max will need a patient family who can offer grace with slow introductions and continue to teach him that the world is not such a scary place after all. Please consider opening up your heart and home to this handsome gentleman who just needs a second chance; he may be older but he has so much love to give.July 9, 2026, 7:38 pm
