Story
DOB 2022 Meet Casper — the handsome, dramatic king of chaos. Casper is the type of cat who will smack you when you walk by simply because he can, knock your belongings off the table while maintaining unbroken eye contact, and gift you with both physical and emotional scars like you’re part of an exclusive loyalty program. His stare alone will have you fetching treats immediately. Resistance is futile. Casper operates on his own terms. He won’t follow you around unless you’re holding a Churu… or a grudge. But when he chooses to plop down on your chest, you will absolutely feel the love. Breathing is optional. Just don’t pet his butt — unless you’re hoping to experience The Slap. This three-year-old walking red flag has come a long way during his year in foster care. He’s gone from “cat from hell” to a guy who actually asks for pets (strictly head-only, please). He now greets visitors at the door like the world’s most unpredictable but charming concierge. Casper needs a patient, cat-savvy adopter who understands that spice is a personality trait. We do not recommend a home with children under 12. (Unless you don’t like your kids — in which case, we can talk.) He tolerates other cats but will deliver a swift correction if they invade his personal bubble. Dogs? They’re fine… as long as they Respect The Casper. Those who do will survive. If you’re ready for your next delightfully toxic relationship (with a fantastic reward system), Casper is your guy. Please share — Casper deserves his perfect match. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

Story
Currently at a Gresham Foster Home. Melody is a a sweet girl with a dominant personality. She adores pets and sitting beside you on the couch and has even started getting on her foster's lap! She also has that sassy Siamese personality and will swat/bat at you when you stop petting her and she wants more, or to tell you NO when she is not in the mood for pets. She seems annoyed by most other cats and is the "fun Police" at her foster's home. We think she would do best as an only cat. When Cat Utopia took her in she had 5 precious newborns, she was an amazing though very protective mother and her babies have grown-up and moved out. This empty nester is ready for a home and family of her own! One that treats her like the QUEEN she is of course! She will repay you with much purrs and leg rubs and lap warming. All adoptions start with an adoption application. The link is on her AdoptAPet profile page.

Story
Rigby is a young flame point Siamese deep love for his people. True to his breed, he is social, vocal, curious, and incredibly affectionate. Rigby loves being part of the action—following his humans from room to room, supervising daily activities, and making sure he’s included in whatever is happening. He is playful, energetic, and intelligent, and he thrives in lively environments. Rigby enjoys toys, exploring new spaces, and interacting with both people and other cats. He has done well with cats and with people of all ages, including children. Rigby’s happiest moments are when he has regular interaction and companionship. He does best in a multi-person household where attention is naturally shared and where there is consistent activity and engagement. In a one-adult home, Rigby has struggled with anxiety related to attachment and has difficulty settling when he cannot have constant proximity. This stress has shown up as persistent vocalizing and distress behaviors—not aggression, but a sign that his emotional needs are simply not being met in that environment. Rigby was adopted with love and the best intentions, but it has become clear that his social and emotional needs would be better met in a different setting. This decision is being made thoughtfully and with his long-term happiness in mind. With the right household, Rigby has the potential to be an incredibly rewarding companion—affectionate, entertaining, and deeply connected to his people. He is a wonderful cat who just needs the right fit to truly shine.  Rigby is indoor only and lives in Vancouver with his family.  Rehoming fee is $75 This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. Story
Meet Finn and Simon, two bonded brothers who are looking for a forever home together. They are Siamese Point and just about 10 months old. Two well behaved and gentle brothers. They are being rehomed due to their loving owner who recently passed away. They are indoor only and have never been outdoors. They do enjoy a large cat tree with cubby spots to rest in. They don't mind watching the outdoors while they are resting next to the window.  Both are very affectionate, playful and social. Simon is the more outgoing brother while Finn is the more reserved, wait and see kind of guy. They have been around gentle children and a smaller cat friendly dog. If you are interested in adopting the brother's as a pair, please fill out and submit your pre-adoption application on our website. www.catscradlerescue.com For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
