Story
**Special - Beautiful - Snuggle Bug** Soup is a beautiful senior kitty! Soup is 11 years young, which means she has her special and unique quirks. She enjoy gentle pets, neck scratches, and is learning that being picked up means it's snuggle time. Just like your favorite tomato or chicken noodle, Soup really enjoys food served warmed up by the glow of a microwave. This sweetie will miss you when you leave the house - looking forward to your return and will greet you with soft meows. Soup mostly wants to spend the day enjoying time together with you or sleeping in bed together at night. She would prefer a home without other pets or small children. Don't worry - Soup will fill your heart enough to keep you happy and entertained! (WG 09/23) Thanks to the Aleece Runge Fund for Senior Cats, Soup will receive special pre-adoption medical screening and dental care; a take-home package that includes a heated bed and a month's supply of food and medication (if needed); and post-adoption financial support of up to $1,000 per year to help cover future veterinary expenses. Story
My cat is a sweet, sweet thing and is in search of a new home. Unfortunately I have had some unexpected medical events that will be long term and I am unable to provide care for her. She is an absolute sweetheart and would make an excellent addition to any home. Breed: Siamese Age: 14 Likes: people, would be better with adults but older children are fine Dislikes: younger cats, unknown about older cats but likely would be best as a solo pet She is a very calm cat and will go absolutely crazy for some pets. She's not quite a lap cat but very close to it, she prefers to be half on half off though. She loves treats, playing with laser pointers/chasing things, and spends a lot of the day napping. She is quite loud as are many siamese so if you don't mind a vocal cat, she is the one for you. She makes her needs known and will absolutely come up to you and tell you that she needs to pet immediately. 10/10 biscuit maker. She is a quirky and sometimes strange (in a fun way) cat. Health needs: She has hyperthyroidism and requires medication once a day   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 1, 2023, 8:17 pm

Story
My husband and I have had mew since he was a kitten which would be coming up on 9 years. Just last year we had a baby and no longer can provide him with the attention and love he deserves. He has spent his whole life as an indoor cat and we want to make sure wherever he goes his new parents can respect that and continue to keep him safe indoors. Mew has never been around other dogs, however he has spent his life growing up with our senior chihuahua who is his best friend.   Every 6 months I take mew to be professionally groomed by a woman located in Vancouver. Mew is a great cat who loves attention and to cuddle up, he enjoys feasting on his Fancy Feast wet food and on occasion enjoys some cat nip.   I want to make sure he can continue to be cared for the safest possible way which is being kept indoors and away from any large dogs or any other cats. Indoor only. Rehoming fee is $100 Additional info from his owner  Mew is nothing less than a gentle cat. He can be timid when around new people however he quickly warms up. My daughter is 18 months old and he usually kinda keeps to himself. I feel like he really would do best with whoever is going to give him the most attention. I would suggest more so an older individual or couple or someone who has more free time. He is kinda on the lazy side, however once in a blue moon he likes to play.He has never bitten or scratched my toddler, myself or anyone that I know. He is easy to get in a cat crate as well. He literally just lays around eats sleeps and will lay with you.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.), a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 5-year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $25 surcharge for transport.
