BLANKET BURRITO  DOB 5/2/22, weight 20 # Meet Frank – The Blanket Burrito of Your Dreams. Frank is a stunning lilac-point Siamese/ Russian Blue mix with classic apple-head charm and the softest soul you'll ever meet. Frank is an extra-large gentle giant, a low-energy companion who prefers the quiet comforts of a calm home and a cozy blanket fort over the hustle and bustle of busy life. Frank is incredibly shy at first—he takes his time to trust, but once he feels safe, he becomes a quiet shadow, happiest when he's curled up next to you under the covers, his favorite hideaway. He won’t ask for much — just patience, kindness, and a warm spot in your bed. His previous person had to move overseas, and while Frank was heartbroken at first, he’s slowly learning to settle in again. His adjustment to his foster home has been greatly expedited because he’s bonded with Pascala, one of his foster mates, who manages to soothe him and give him confidence. Frank needs someone who understands that love can be quiet and that some cats take a little longer to show their hearts, but when they do, it's something truly special. If you have a peaceful home and a heart big enough to wait for a whisper-soft bond, Frank might just be your forever blanket buddy. Although Frank and Pascala are available separately, it would be ideal for them to be adopted as a bonded pair so that Pascala can continue to reassure Frank. HOPE ID 25-0503-G082 Frank’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Frank will be this weekend, email us at sfenicle1@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
Meet Cedar—great things come in small packages! I may be the smallest of the litter, but I am the boldest. A curious and adventurous spirit, I’m always ready to explore and see what’s around the corner or in your lap (are those treats?! Jackpot!). My siblings and I were found in the forest after our mom passed, and all were named after trees in commemoration. Filled with courage and spunk, I am an expert in love and play. I adore attention and will happily climb all over your lap for cuddles and show off my purrs. If you’re looking for some Cedar in your life, I’d love to meet you. -reach out to meet me asap! -see me at Petsmart 2902 S Shepherd Dr Sat and Sun 1130-4p.

Story
Meet Lily! Lily a beautiful Siamese girl with a soft heart and a gentle soul. She can be shy at first, but if you're patient and let her come to you on her own terms, you'll be rewarded with the sweetest purrs and affection. Lily would do best in a quiet home with a calm, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Once she's settled in and feels safe, she truly blossoms-offering loving companionship, cozy cuddles, and the best motor-purrs you can imagine. If your looking for a loyal, loving cat and have the patience to let her shine, Lily will be worth every moment. Lily is spayed, up to date on age appropriate shots, litter box trained, has excellent manners, and would thrive in a home looking for a loyal, easygoing companion. She has never met a dog. With the right introductions, she could settle nicely into a home with friendly pets—or she’d be equally content soaking up all the love as your one-and-only. Older kids in the house would be recommended, who would understand when Lily needs a moment, as loud noises scare her. Location & Transport Lily is currently in Houston, Texas, but can be transported to the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or cities along the route. Adoption Application Apply to adopt Lily here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat _ _ _ ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to be spayed/neutered, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! To learn more about our TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) efforts, please follow us on Instagram @roses_rescues_htx

Story
Milo is the kitty that will be your valentine for years to come. He is the very essence of heroic- gentle- and mild mannered. He is confident but bashful. Milo vocalizes his inquiries with meows - and wants to give you a head butt to make sure you're doing ok. He wants his next adventure to be inside a home with a candlelit dinner over his bowl of cat food. Milo is the kitty to keep you company- and if you do happen to leave- he will wait patiently for your return. Please and see if you can take this sweet prince home! Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!

Story
Duchess is an adult female born in 2021. She will usually hide when strangers are in the house. And she likes a nice peaceful environment. Loud noises and lots of simulation are not in her comfort zone. However, as she gets to know you, she can become very affectionate. She will jump on your lap, nudge you until she receives her strokes of affection, and then hang out with you for hours. She loves to play games. Her favorites are laser pointer, string, and mouse (with some catnip, of course). She enjoys climbing in her cat tree or perching on the window sill and watching birds, butterflies, and salamanders. She loves hide and seek, sometimes hiding under furniture and then jumping out suddenly. Duchess may also be a budding office cat. She is fascinated by monitors, the movement of the mouse, and printers. Anytime you are in the office, expect Duchess to show up soon to help.  Duchess has always lived with her brother, Tigger. They have been together since birth and have a very close bond. When they can’t find each other, you will hear them meowing and calling to one another. You often see them together, laying on the bed, perched in the window sill, or just hanging out on their cat tree. While they do some things separately, they seem to really enjoy each other’s company. This is good on those days where you are stuck at work, to know that your cat has a sweet companion. In most cases, Tigger is the initiator of activities and relationships. Since he is more outgoing than his sister, Duchess, he forges new territory, and then she follows soon after. The reason why they are being rehomed? A new member of the family has very bad allergies. The family loves them enough to keep them in their current home until a new home can be found. This brother and sister pair are TOO SWEET! Tigger will hover over sister Duchess at adoption events, keeping her safe:) Both are very sweet and loving. This is a great bonded pair looking for a new, forever home. The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clear Lake Petco (2410 Bay Area Blvd, Houston 77058). If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and email it to us at pets2adopt@yahoo.com for pre-review.  January 3, 2026, 6:48 pm
