Story
Meet this handsome 1 year old Snowshoe boy! He’s a playful, social kitty who loves being around people and is always ready for attention. He’s quite the talker and will happily chat with you throughout the day, especially when it’s time to play.He absolutely loves his toys and has plenty of kitten-like energy left, making him a fun companion. He gets along well with dogs and is currently trying to win over the resident cats — he’s friendly and interested in making friends, but may need slow introductions with feline housemates. He’s fully litter box trained, vetted, and ready to settle into a home where he can get lots of playtime, affection, and conversation. Story
*Urgently Rehoming* personal emergency. I adopted Bobafet 6yrs ago from an animal shelter. She loves to talk and meet new people! Once she's settled, she's very social and likes being a natural part of your routine. She likes hanging out in the same room, but as she's gotten older, she's the kind of cat that minds her business and comes to you when she feels like it. When she comes around she's very affectionate and gives the best cuddles. She does well in large or small spaces as long as she has space to roam, hide and perch really high. Bobafet is an indoor cat, who loves large windows, enclosed outside areas with safe plants, and occasional harnessed walks. Her ideal home is one with someone who has a basic understanding of cats or is able and committed to learn (cat body language, love bites, routines, play, mental and environmental enrichment). She's lived with other cats and dogs just fine, but she'd prefer to be a single pet.

Story
CLEO (1 yo) is a beautiful & snuggly Snowshoe Tortoiseshell cat. She loves to hang out and will spend hours by your side. ❤ She came to TLC from a shelter in January with a hairline fracture to her hind right leg that could not be splinted and just needed time to mend on it's own. It's mended now and she is weight bearing on this leg with no ongoing issues. She has her favorite bed with her kittens (all stuffed animal cuties) and she hugs them and cleans them every day. 😽 ❤ She's spayed plus all dewormers, vax & microchip and has combo tested NEG for kitty diseases. She would love a low-key home with someone special to care for her. Please lease contact us anytime to meet her. 214-949-2247

Story
Hi, I’m Hobbes and I want to share my story. I was in a home before I was surrendered to Texas CARES. It was my one and only home and I was the star of the house, that is, until my family had a baby. After that, it seems I was set aside. The wonderful people at Texas CARES took me into their rescue but that is not where my story ends. You see, I am a very special boy and have had some pretty big ups and downs. In my foster home, I was having such a time using my litter box and no one could seem to figure out why I was going outside of it. They took me to the vet, where they ran tests and more tests. That wasn’t fun, because I am not a huge fan of going into the carrier (I told foster mom all about it on the ride) but I knew it was for my own good. My foster mom, along with the medical team, tried several different things. My food was changed, my foster mom used extra litter boxes, but I still would go outside the box. There was even a time where I heard talk of euthanasia. I’m not sure what that is but it sure didn’t sound good! I know my foster mom was so frustrated and really wanted to help me, but it was tough. Finally, foster mom and the medical team, along with the vets, started me on some different antibiotics and some medicine to help with my mental state. This seemed to be what was needed for me because I now use the litter box each and every time I need to go! So, you see, it took a little time, but I am finally ready to seek out a forever home. I will have to be on my special food, which helps prevent crystals in my urine, and I may have to be on my mental meds long term, but I take them like a champ. In fact, I don’t even think it’s medicine because it looks and tastes like a chicken treat. I enjoy my prescription food as well! I do get along with dogs and I have met my foster mom's cats but honestly, I’d probably prefer just to have my very own human to myself. I won’t be going up to the adoption center, so if you’d like to meet me and have a chat, my foster family will make arrangements for you to meet me! I really hope you will take a chance on me because I am a really wonderful boy and I am ready to be your best friend!  Medical:  Special Diet - He is now on CD Urinary food both dry and wet. Fluoxetine - Compounded Treat Chews - ordered monthly and delivered to his home. June 24, 2025, 5:36 pm

Story
Meet Ruthie Siamese sweetie born 2011. Ruthie and her sister Sally’s mom died and dad had to move to an assisted living facility. These girls were loved and cared for but now are in need of forever homes to live out their golden years. Ruthie enjoys snuggling in boxes and taking long naps. She just wants to be near you and get head scratches. Ruthie is a picky eater. The only thing that is on her menu of choice is TUNA flavored wet food. She loves climbing and jumping and is great at opening cabinets and taking a nap inside. She loves some chicken and lamb snacks. When you take pictures she wants to be front and center of the camera. She is very calm and will even let you trim her nails with zero complaints. She is just looking for her Furrever snuggle Buddy!! Ruthie would prefer to be an only pet or with her sister Sally (also a total sweetheart). She prefers a quiet, calm home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and litter box trained. Story
Meet Ollie Oliver! He is a gorgeous flamepoint boy born in 2021.Ollie Oliveris a stunning flamepoint Siamese with the most gentle, soulful presence. He’s a shy boy at first, but give him a little patience and a calm environment, and he blossoms into an incredibly affectionate and loving companion.Ollie is mellow, sweet, and very much a “quiet comfort” kind of cat. Once he feels safe, he enjoys lap time, cozy naps, and being close to his people. He does great with other cats and has a laid-back, non-alpha personality, making him an easy and peaceful addition to a multi-cat home. Ollie is vetted and has excellent litter box manners. He’s an indoor-only kitty who would thrive in a calm, loving household that understands that trust takes time—but the reward is so worth it.
