Grandma Sophie- or also Princess Sophie LOVES shoes and feet. Absolute food fanatic. She’s the sweetest baby ever. I love her so much, and has been an amazing companion for 6 years. Always sleeps on the bed with me, sometimes near my neck, but mostly my feet lol. She loves being loved, gets overstimulated then comes right back for more pets & chin scratches. Huge bed potato. She just wants a window to look out of, a nice comfy bed (your bed lol), food, a good sniff of some shoes and she’s a happy girl. One of the best cats I’ve ever had.

Pearl was named after Pearl the Whale from SpongeBob SquarePants, and honestly, the name fits her perfectly. She may not be a whale, but she certainly has the personality. This beautiful snowshoe kitten believes life is meant to be enjoyed, preferably with plenty of attention, a few admirers, and something fun happening at all times. She is curious about everything, excited about most things, and never afraid to make her presence known. Pearl loves people and likes being involved in whatever is going on. If you're folding laundry, she'll supervise. If you're playing with toys, she'll join in. If you're sitting on the couch, she'll likely decide that sounds like a group activity. Like her namesake, Pearl has a dramatic side, but it's the adorable kind. A toy rolling under the couch may require a full investigation. Dinner arriving thirty seconds late is clearly a matter of great importance. Every day is an adventure when you're Pearl. Beneath all that personality is an incredibly sweet kitten who genuinely enjoys being loved. She is playful, affectionate, and full of life. Pearl doesn't just brighten a room—she fills it. Now she's looking for a forever family of her own. Hi, I’m Hobbes and I want to share my story. I was in a home before I was surrendered to Texas CARES. It was my one and only home and I was the star of the house, that is, until my family had a baby. After that, it seems I was set aside. The wonderful people at Texas CARES took me into their rescue but that is not where my story ends. You see, I am a very special boy and have had some pretty big ups and downs. In my foster home, I was having such a time using my litter box and no one could seem to figure out why I was going outside of it. They took me to the vet, where they ran tests and more tests. That wasn’t fun, because I am not a huge fan of going into the carrier (I told foster mom all about it on the ride) but I knew it was for my own good. My foster mom, along with the medical team, tried several different things. My food was changed, my foster mom used extra litter boxes, but I still would go outside the box. There was even a time where I heard talk of euthanasia. I’m not sure what that is but it sure didn’t sound good! I know my foster mom was so frustrated and really wanted to help me, but it was tough. Finally, foster mom and the medical team, along with the vets, started me on some different antibiotics and some medicine to help with my mental state. This seemed to be what was needed for me because I now use the litter box each and every time I need to go! So, you see, it took a little time, but I am finally ready to seek out a forever home. I will have to be on my special food, which helps prevent crystals in my urine, and I may have to be on my mental meds long term, but I take them like a champ. In fact, I don’t even think it’s medicine because it looks and tastes like a chicken treat. I enjoy my prescription food as well! I do get along with dogs and I have met my foster mom's cats but honestly, I’d probably prefer just to have my very own human to myself. I won’t be going up to the adoption center, so if you’d like to meet me and have a chat, my foster family will make arrangements for you to meet me! I really hope you will take a chance on me because I am a really wonderful boy and I am ready to be your best friend! Medical: Special Diet - He is now on CD Urinary food both dry and wet. Fluoxetine - Compounded Treat Chews - ordered monthly and delivered to his home.

Meet Cotton! 💙🐾 If you're looking for a cat with movie-star looks and a delightfully quirky personality, Cotton may be your perfect match. This handsome Snowshoe boy has striking blue eyes, an adorable cross-eyed gaze, and a story of resilience. Cotton was found injured outdoors with severe damage to his tail that ultimately required a partial tail amputation. Thankfully, he's healed beautifully and is doing great! Cotton is a very nice cat, but he's still figuring out this whole indoor-cat thing. After spending much of his life outdoors, his social skills can be a little... awkward. He loves attention and wants to interact with his people, but sometimes gets so excited that he may give a gentle nip to ask for more pets or engagement. It's never aggressive or mean-spirited—Cotton is just a little socially awkward and still learning better ways to communicate. Because of this, Cotton is looking for an experienced, patient adopter who understands that building trust and confidence takes time. The more comfortable he becomes, the more his sweet personality shines through. Cotton does well with polite, respectful cats who don't invade his space. Older children who can understand and respect his boundaries may be a good fit. We aren't sure how he feels about dogs. What Cotton needs most is a calm home, patient guidance, and someone willing to let him settle in at his own pace. In return, you'll get a truly unique cat with tons of personality, a heart of gold, and a second chance at the life he deserves. Nestor and Tilly are a bonded duo with a snowshoe background, though not pure-bred. They are easy keepers, being well past the kitten stage, and great companions. What makes them extra special is the fact that they actually know some commands such as "sit," "lay," "bed." How about letting these two beauties enrich your life?

All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Casey:  Snowshoe Siamese, DOB 4/12/18, Male, affectionately know as Big Daddy Sasha: Turkish Van Calico, DOB 10/26/21, female Casey and Sasha ended up in a local shelter when their owner died and the executor of the estate didn’t know what to do with the cats.  The owner originally adopted Casey from Cat Matchers when he was a kitten.  Luckily, he had a microchip and we were contacted.  Sasha was adopted by the owner through a different rescue group.  Per the shelter, the rescue declined to take Sasha back.  Casey and Sasha were sitting on top of each other in the shelter cages.  They were terrified and bonded to the point that if they could have crawled into each other’s body, they probably would have.  Cat Matchers decided to take Sasha back in with Casey.   Casey and Sasha were really depressed and stopped eating for a while.  They had to be syringe and hand fed at first.   Casey had all of his teeth removed prior to our picking him up from the shelter.   Sasha ended up needing her teeth removed as well, so we took care of that.    Even though they are missing their teeth, they can eat small kibble dry food and wet food just fine. Sasha is very affectionate. She likes to be held. She will put both her arms around your neck, hang on tight and kiss and kiss and kiss she does kiss a lot and it can be annoying to the wrong person. Big daddy is very outgoing and very friendly. He’s not a giant fan of being held but maybe down the road. It’s not fear it’s just he’s really playful and outgoing and he loves baby talk so if whoever picks him up could baby talk with him that would go a long way to keeping him from reverting back to fear and would be great given all that he’s been through. He really responds to baby talk. These 2 wonderful cats are bonded and should be adopted together. All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Mia B, DOB 8/20/21, is very sweet and likes to be near her people.  She will follow them around to be near them.  She likes to sit in laps, or on you.  There are also times she is fine to just curl up in a quiet place and get some alone time. She loves being petted and scratched. She will tap you on the shoulder if she needs attention.  Mia likes to be chatty and is friendly with anyone coming to visit.  She is still playful and likes to play with a small mouse toy that she can carry around in her mouth.  She will carry the mouse while meowing to make me aware of the prize she has found.  Mia has been around dogs and cats.  She has a different relationship with each of them and may be fine with a new cat or dog, or not.  It just depends on the cat's personality.    At a minimum she has reached a point in which she can be around other animals without much drama.  T-BB**Want to adopt?
