Story
Bonded pair Gus & Maggie come to after Maggie tore her CCL and their previous owner was unable to provide the level of care that she needed. Maggie is almost completely recovered from her TPLO surgery and these two are ready for their happy ever after! Gus can be protective of Maggie, so we recommend a home with no other dogs in it, but they get along just fine with their foster kitty brother! A home with few stairs and a fenced yard would be best for these two. Favorite activities include sunbathing, snowbathing, napping, watching squirrels, and getting belly rubs - in other words, the good life! Adoption application: https://cosaintrescue.org/adopt/

Story
Say HELLO to Holly! This sweet girl comes to us after her previous owners could no longer care for her due to their own health concerns. Holly is house and crate trained, which is amazing, because up to this point, she spent most of her time outside by herself. As a result, she is a bit worried when she's outside by herself and will bark and scratch at the doors and fence to make sure that you don't forget about her. It can also take a few minutes to warm up to new people, she will sit by the legs of the person she knows until she decides that new guys is OK. But once she does? Get ready for hugs and kisses and the famous Saint Bernard lean! Other dogs? Holly is selective with her friends and takes some time to warm up ( think a couple of days, not minutes) But hey, how many people you meet on the street do you want to be instant friends with? Cats are unknown, and we recommend kids over 8 Are you the right family to help Holly become the very best version of herself?

Story
Hi there!  Mortimer here! The nice rescue people have asked me to tell you about myself, so here goes .... I am a world class squirrel defense expert. I have been told that i shouldn't lead wth that, but I think it's the most important, so there we go. I am also an expert at eating snacks :) aaaaaaand now they say they are taking over writing this .... Morti is around 5 years old and survived prostate cancer in 2021! The required surgery has made him a bit sensitive about his rear end when it comes to other dogs sniffing it, so he can be a bit dog selective. He does better with female dogs that respect his boundaries. He was not kidding about the squirrel defense expert bit - he has an ongoing feud with the neighborhood squirrels at his foster house. Morti can't live with cats (or any small animals really) as his prey drive is just too high. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and a family that can continue his structured daily walks. If you have a garden, he will "help" you in it. His foster mom solved this by giving him his own garden bed to till. Morti is house and crate trained, and does fine in the crate while his foster family is away from the house.

Story
Say hello to Maple, a big-hearted Saint Bernard with a love for people and a personality as sweet as her name. This gentle giant is looking for a forever home where she can be the center of attention—she prefers to be your one and only pet. Maple is all about the simple pleasures in life: lazy strolls around the neighborhood, long naps in sunny spots, and belly rubs that make her eyes roll back in bliss. She’s a pro at lounging and would happily spend the day by your side—or sneakily helping herself to any unattended snacks when you're not looking (she’s got some serious stealth skills!). Story
When the first snowflake falls, Babs transforms into a frolicking snowball! Her joy in the snow is contagious and she loves it when her people join her in playing. She thrives on attention and will nudge your hand and give you "the look" until you shower her with the attention she deserves - she is a bit jealous with other dogs when it comes to attention, so an only dog home or a submissive friend would be best for her. Babs favorite place in the world is right with you.  Whether its the couch for a Netflix marathon, or a walk in the park, she is up for anything as long as it's with you! Babs knows her obedience cues and is eager to learn more! She would do best with kids over 8. Visit our website to fill out the adoption form: https://cosaintrescue.org/adopt/
