Story
Hi I’m Penny, I am 3 1/2 years old. I love running outside, sometimes this includes chasing cats. I was found roaming the streets. I would love to be in a new home where I get lots of attention and pets and toys to keep me busy as I love to chew. I might whine a bit, but that’s just my anxiety. Once I’m comfortable I will sleep on the couch, but I am kenneled train and love my safe space too.

Story
🐾 Meet Sully! 📍 Houston-area rehoming Sully is approx. 3 years and 3 months old (as of June 2025) and 98% purebred, verified by Wisdom Panel. He was adopted as a stray in April 2023 and has been a loving companion ever since. ✅ Neutered ✅ Microchipped ✅ House & kennel trained ✅ Good with respectful kids 🚫 Not tested with cats 🐕 May be selective with some dogs (loves playing with his brother) He knows "sit" (though he needs reminders), is very food motivated (great for training), and not food aggressive. He loves the dog park, handles baths and nail grinding calmly, and gets excited when guests arrive. He does pull on walks, so he’ll need someone confident and patient. 🩺 Vaccines are due in June 2025. He’s been well cared for and loved. I’m rehoming because I’m pregnant and can no longer manage him alone. 🎯 Adoption fee: $225 — to ensure a serious, committed adopter. Sully would thrive in a loving home with structure, affection, and room to be his sweet, active self.

Story
Meet Princess! She’s a sweet, loving dog with tons of potential, just waiting for someone to spend a little time with her. Princess is super smart and has a playful side, though her “love language” is a bit exuberant – she’ll shower you with affection by jumping all over you (she's working on that, and doing really well!). She's great on walks when she's alone, though she tends to take charge when walking with other dogs, loving to be in the lead. She is a princess, after all! Princess is calm and friendly with other dogs and wouldn’t mind sharing her space with a playmate, though she’d be just as happy to be the center of attention. She’s a belly rub enthusiast and absolutely loves getting pampered. With her love of food, Princess is a quick learner, especially when treats are involved. She’s protective of her people but warms up quickly when approached gently by new friends. This clever girl has a knack for figuring things out – from opening lever doors and dog food bins to swiping food from the kitchen trash. Princess may be using her skills for mischief, but with the right training, she’ll be the best girl on the block! She’s potty trained, would love to be a couch potato if allowed, and may even rock some cute outfits if required. Princess is ready for her forever home – could that be with you? Available for adoption in the greater Houston area.

Story
If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at GNARHouston@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home! Name: Ivy Sex: Female Color/Pattern: White with gray ears, fawn face markings Breed: Small bully mix Weight: 40 pounds Age at intake: Approximately 1 year 6 months BDAY approx: 4/7/2022 Found date: 4/7/2023 Intake date: 10/5/2023 Coat length: Short Description: Ivy is a super sweet and energetic young pitbull mix. Everyone she meets is a new friend! Personality: Ivy is such a sweetheart. She loves to cuddle, give hugs, and be close to her people. She is very energetic and loves playing fetch and tug, but running around outside with her doggie friends is her absolute favorite activity. She loves everyone she meets, and she's just happy to be included. Due to her high energy level, she would do best in an active household or a home with a large fenced-in yard. She is young and still working on leash and crate manners, but she's a quick learner and eager to please. Background: Ivy was dumped in the parking lot of a vet clinic, and one of the staff there took her in as a foster. When she was found, she was underweight; covered in fleas, cuts, and scrapes; and was heartworm positive. Lucky for her, the vet clinic got her all fixed up! She was cleaned up, spayed, provided with fast kill heartworm treatment. Now she is officially heartworm free and ready for her forever home! Compatibility Dogs - yes Cats - unknown Kids - older kids - yes; younger kids/babies - her energy level might be too high

Story
Sweet and gentle pup was found lost in my neighbor, stopped to check collar but had no tag. He jumped in the car and won’t come back out. No chip and not luck finding owner. He love going for walks and love having kids around (a plus for his energy). He’s very gentle with kids (4 y/o and 27 y/o) and with dogs (old Yorkie). I wish to keep him ( he earned a spaces in our hearts) but is difficult for us to travel and move with a big dog like him.
