I found PeiPei outside my neighbor's house and later learned they had abandoned him because they already had a younger dog in their house. That is also how I learned his name and he'd clearly been living on the street for weeks. So since then, I have been taking care of him. He is a very sweet dog. He is between 8-10 years old. Has a 3/5 heart murmur and a slightly enlarged heart. He currently takes heart medication and will need to continue to take it. The doctor said he is eligible to be neutered though. Slight eye issues due to sun exposure and currently has a skin infection. The skin infection is going away and once it has he can be neutered and microchipped. He loves all dogs and people from what I have experienced but is food-aggressive and is aggressive if you move the blanket or bed he is on. All of his aggression seems to stem from fear of living on the street. He is also not house trained but that could be due to being not neutered as he understands he should go outside.

Meet this adorable sibling pair, Henri and Honey. These two came to us in pretty sad shape. Very thin and matted they had been found in a field. We think they were from a puppy mill and were abandoned. We find this a lot in Central California. There are a lot of backyard breeders and when they have served their purpose they are dumped. It is a very sad situation, but we are so happy we get to step in and give these wonderful dogs the lives they deserve. Their wonderful foster mom has been giving them good nourishing food and lots of love. They have been together their whole lives and we want to keep them together. They love each other and when playing with other dogs they are sociable, but they always go back to each other and keep an eye out for each other. They are crate trained and housebroken. They are loving and affectionate. Even though their beginning was not great they are resilient and have opened their hearts and trust to their foster mom.  We have posted their before picture and look at what good care and love has done! Honey is in the picture by herself and in the pic of both of them Henri is in the back. Jesse is an energetic, affectionate, playful and loving mini poodle who came to Jelly's Place from Mexico. If we had to summarize Jesse in one word it would be joyful. Jesse LOVES to go for walks, to roll around on the couch and get belly rubs. He also loves playing with plushy toys and snuggling into his blanket or dog bed. He also loves chasing balls, the bigger the better. We think Jesse is a big dog is a small dog's body. Jesse's ideal family would be an active single or couple with alot of dog experience and a yard who like hiking, going for long walks and taking adventures. Jesse would prefer to be the only animal in the family, but we don't think that is too much to ask. Jesse has so much love to give and will thrive in the right home! Jesse is UTD on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. Applications are being accepted and qualified applicants will be contacted. Jesse's adoption fee is negotiable. Harvey is a beautiful, caring, and well behaved poodle. He went through puppy K-9 training as a puppy and and two year old. He is great with kids as he was raised with my four grand babies that absolutely love him. I am broken hearted to have to give him up because after being diagnosed with MS I can no longer take him for his hikes and road trips. I am looking for a family that has an ability to give him the life he deserves. He loves the water. He loves running and cuddling.
