10/4/24 update: Annie is doing great at her foster home. She is looking much healthier on fresh foods. She loves her 2-3 mile daily walks. Lovable and cuddly at home. She wants to be your best friend and home buddy. 9/5/24 Update: Annie is doing well at her kind foster home with their small dog at home. She is very easy dog at their home good on leash and gives them kisses. They set up a dog pen area to adust. She is calm and very sweet. She is currently walking 2-3 miles twice per day with her foster home. The dogs are fine going out for walks together and side by side. Annie is nervous of Lumi young playful small dog inside home and will growl at her. Fine in backyard. They are doing slow introductions and rewards. Fosters are doing great with positive and reward training. Annie is food and treat motivated. Annie loves her daily walks. She is affectionate and wants to be your BFF at home as the only dog. Annie gives kisses and attentive. Listens to commands. 7/30/24: Annie was adopted from us Aug. 2020 but now needs a new home due to the couple having a baby and now toddler. Their toddler fell on Annie and she reacted with a nip. They also have another toddler moving in with them soon. Original posting from 2020: Annie was rescued from a shelter. She is a sweetie once she warms up. At her foster home she is friendly and polite with their dogs (sr. dog & small dog). Annie loves running going out for potty biz and playing in their yard. Shelter told us she is about 5 yrs. With healthy and fresh food she will be healthier. More info. to come while she relaxes and learns at her foster home. Her spay is scheduled now. I have a lot of energy for long walks and play, but I also know how to relax. I’d rather be on your lap than anywhere else. I already have a lot skills, and am house trained, but I need help working on my leash manners. I wasn’t always treated well in the past by humans, so I need a gentle touch and some patience. I am a quick learner and will be able to adjust to any loving home’s schedule, as long as I get some exercise. I think I’d be best in a home with kids over 10. Whoever my forever family is can look forward to unlimited love and cuddles. NorCal Poodle Rescue Lovely retired show dog. 9 years old. Male- 9 years old Loveable dog, likes to follow his person around. Unfortunately his person has passed away and family is unable to care for him. He is a lovely senior citizen who would be a great addition to your family. According to his relinquish form,  Ruger knows come, stay; is microchipped .Ruger is okay with other dogs, unsure about cats and definitely no squirrels. He is active, likes walks, follows family around the house, like children, likes most dogs and has lived with another dog. He sleeps in a dog bed and is crate and leash trained. Since he hates squirrels so much he may not like cats either.  Fee $200.00. $500.00 hold for neutering refunded upon proof of procedure. Shadow is appx 4 yrs old, standard poodle! He weights about 40lbs. Sweet pup and likes to follow you around. He does well with other dogs of all sizes. Very food motivated. He does have a bit of separation anxiety, which I think will get better over time as he just arrived and everything is new for him.

Norrin is appx 4 yrs old, white standard poodle. He's currently shaved down since he was very matted at the shelter. He weights about 40lbs. He's very food motivated, walks fine with leash, does fine with other dogs and people. He's pretty independent and not very attached to people like Shadow is. Crate trained.
