Story
Meet Ranger (aka Frankie — our “Ole Blue Eyes”) Ranger — who we’ve been calling Frankie — is an incredibly sweet, people-loving puppy who is happiest when he’s close to his humans. He’s the kind of boy who watches you with total devotion, follows your lead, and bonds quickly Frankie happens to be deaf, but don’t let that fool you for a second — it hasn’t slowed him down one bit. In fact, he’s so attentive and tuned into his people that he’s already doing wonderfully with visual cues, learning through eye contact, and staying connected to whoever he’s with. He’s affectionate, playful, and full of puppy joy. What to know about Ranger/Frankie: About 11 weeks old Currently around 20 lbs Mini Bernedoodle (on the larger “mini” side — likely 45–50 lbs full grown) Deaf, but extremely people-focused and affectionate Friendly with dogs and cats High-energy, playful puppy Potty training in progress — going outside with normal puppy accidents Working on leash training Working on crate training — may cry at first, but settles more with consistency Ranger’s ideal home:Ranger would thrive in a fun, active home — ideally with a fenced yard where he can run, play, and burn off that puppy energy! He also needs a home with confident dogs who enjoy playtime and can help guide him. Because he is both a puppy and deaf, Ranger would do best in a home without young children, as little ones may accidentally startle him since he can’t hear them coming. He’d be happiest in a household where someone is home much of the time, and he is not a good fit for apartment living (he can be vocal at times, especially during crate training). Ranger does not resource guard food or treats, but he can growl when you take away items he shouldn’t have — so he’ll need continued training and guidance in that area (which is very common for puppies!). After he’s had his playtime and zoomies, Ranger’s favorite thing is curling up close and snuggling with his people. A home with experience with deaf dogs would be amazing — but what matters most is a family committed to learning and training alongside him as he grows. Ranger is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and a neuter deposit is required as part of the adoption process. He is available for adoption in New Jersey and surrounding areas. Story
We know—Waffles is fluffy, adorable, and absolutely capable of stealing your heart at first glance. But this little guy is looking for a very specific kind of home, and that’s okay. The right match will make all the difference for him. Waffles needs an experienced, dog-savvy adopter who understands that it’s their job to help him feel safe and secure—not Waffles’ job to protect his person. He does best with someone who uses patience, structure, and positive reinforcement to build trust and confidence. Waffles can be protective of high-value items, so his ideal person understands the importance of trading up (think yummy swaps!) rather than taking things away. With the right approach, he bonds quickly and shows just how sweet he truly is. He would thrive in a quiet, low-traffic home with minimal comings and goings, where he can settle in and feel secure. Once he knows you’re his person, he’s incredibly loyal and affectionate. Waffles at a glance: Sweet boy who bonds quickly Prefers a calm, predictable environment Crate trained, house trained, and well-mannered in the home Rides well in the car Does well with other dogs Waffles isn’t looking for chaos—he’s looking for comfort, understanding, and someone willing to meet him where he is. In return, he’ll give you devotion, love, and a very special bond. If you’re experienced, patient, and ready to be Waffles’ safe place, he may just be the perfect companion for you.
