Cinderella is a 2 year old spayed female poodle mix who weighs 43 pounds (but she is gaining weight). She was found by a hiker 12 miles deep into the woods and we cannot imagine how she ended up there! Cinderella needed to be fully shaved on intake and was just so thankful to everyone that helped her. She has settled into a foster home where she has not had any accidents, has done well in the crate and walks well on the leash. Stella is a 3.5-year-old, 45-pound dog whose life has been shaped by both deep love and repeated loss. None of it her fault. She was first surrendered to ACCT Philly due to seizures, placing her at risk with a time-stamped outcome. From there, she was rescued by Familiar Hearts Animal Society, given the care she needed, and finally adopted into a home of her own. For a while, Stella had what every dog deserves. But after nine months, she was returned. Again because of her seizures. And still, Stella remains exactly who she has always been :: a happy, gentle, deeply loving soul. She has a beautiful balance of energy, content to lounge by your side, yet quick to invite another dog into a playful game. She’s easy on leash, a wonderful walking companion, and adaptable to a variety of homes. Stella is especially tender with other animals, doing well with dogs and even cats, and she lights up around people, particularly children. Stella does have epilepsy, which means she will always experience seizures. Most are brief focal episodes lasting just seconds and don’t seem to interrupt her joy or engagement with life. Less frequently, she may have more significant seizures. She is on medication to help manage them, and her care team continues to learn what her “normal” looks like as her patterns evolve. What’s important to understand is this :: Stella is not a dog waiting to be fixed. She is a dog already living a full, connected, and joyful life. She is looking for a home that can meet her with steadiness and compassion. Someone who isn’t afraid of her diagnosis, but instead sees the extraordinary dog in front of them :: the one who keeps choosing joy, connection, and play, no matter how many times her world has changed. Meet Livvy, a five-month-old Mini-Bernedoodle weighing 21 pounds, who is expected to reach about 40 to 45 pounds when fully grown. Currently fostered in Mt. Ephraim, New Jersey, Livvy is a fluffy, sweet, and curious cuddle bug who loves everyone she meets, though she can be just a little shy at first. This silly puppy has so much joy that she gets the absolute zoomies in the yard, even throwing her own toys to herself to play fetch, and she loves playing a good game of tug-of-war with her foster siblings. She is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and incredibly social. Livvy currently shares her foster home with an 85-pound Bernedoodle and a 70-pound Goldendoodle, and she is entirely cat-friendly too. A spay deposit is required for adoption. This smart girl is already housebroken as long as her humans keep her potty breaks consistent and learn her cues, and she comfortably sleeps straight through the night in her crate without having any accidents. Livvy is a very fast learner who is quickly mastering commands like "sit," "come," "potty," and "in" for her crate, and she absolutely loves going on leash walks. Because of her wonderful puppy energy and love for running, Livvy would do best in a permanent home that has a safely fenced-in yard. While she loves other dogs and cats, her future family will just need to remain vigilant and continue her training, as she is still a young pup who doesn't quite understand personal space or boundaries yet.
