Meet Candy!
Candy is a sweet and lovable Terrier mix with a playful personality, a little bit of sass, and a whole lot of charm. Born September 20, 2020, Candy is a girl who knows what she wants—and one thing she definitely wants is to be loved!
Candy enjoys the simple things in life, from leisurely walks and cozy naps to spending quality time with her favorite people. She can be playful and silly, and she absolutely knows when the camera is on her. If there’s a photo being taken, don’t be surprised if Candy makes sure she’s right in the middle of it!
Candy is a gentle companion who does well with other dogs and can happily coexist with canine friends. Since she’s a more mature girl, children in the home should understand how to be gentle and respectful with her. In return, Candy will give her people plenty of love, loyalty, and companionship.
She doesn’t need a fenced yard and would be perfectly happy in a home where she can enjoy regular walks, cozy places to nap, and lots of affection. She’s looking for a family who will appreciate her sweet nature, playful side, and the occasional little dose of sass that makes her so special.
Candy has the kind of personality that makes you smile. She’s affectionate, fun, photogenic, and just a little bit sassy—and we think that’s a pretty wonderful combination.

This blood test checks for diseases such as Lyme and Heartworm Disease that are transmitted to dogs from a tick or mosquito bite. If the dog you are interested in tests positive for any of these conditions, treatment will already have been started or completed. Your Adoption Counselor will review any findings with you and we will provide all medical records, along with any medication the dog may need at the time of adoption.
