If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/generic.You can learn about the adoption process by visiting:  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.  Dog's Name:  Ruby  (RUB0226OWSFS)Estimated Breed:  Poodle / Terrier MIX Approximate Age:   1-2 years   Approximate Weight:  55-60 lbsCurrently Living at:  BoardingAdoption Fee:  $400DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Meet Ruby:  Professional Snuggler, Part-Time Explorer, Full-Time Good Girl      Are you in the market for 55–60 pounds of fluffy-coated perfection? Allow us to introduce Ruby, a gorgeous Poodle/Terrier mix who is currently accepting applications for her Forever Human(s).     Ruby is completely housebroken, walks beautifully on leash, doesn’t make a fuss in her crate, and keeps her commentary to a minimum—unless someone happens to approach your door. If you let her, Ruby will sleep like a giant teddy bear tucked into your arms, snuggled up tight and perfectly content. She is super affectionate and takes her snuggle responsibilities very seriously.      Ruby is an outdoorsy girl and an apt/condo is not an appropriate environment for her since she LOVES being outdoors. She loves hiking, trail walks, swimming, and generally being out in nature. A home with a yard would be ideal for this active pooch. Off leash on hikes, she may trot ahead to “scout the path,” but she comes back when called. She’s not a flight risk—just an enthusiastic explorer who likes to keep tabs on her people. She enjoys toys, is delightfully food-motivated (training win!), and understands fetch. Is it her favorite activity? Not exactly. But with enough cheering and moral support, she will go get that bone and bring it back like the good sport she is.      Ruby gets along well with other dogs, has a wonderful disposition, and truly just wants a loving home where she can be your hiking buddy by day and your teddy bear by night. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, outdoorsy best friend—Ruby is your girl. Apply today—Ruby can't wait to find her forever home! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/. Story
&#226&#156&#168Princess Charlie Is looking for her person after being deserted by her owner in the downtown area of Nashville, TN.  She was found scavenging for food in trash cans and luckily a kind rescue hearted woman took her home. &#226&#156&#168 At just 2 years of age and 44 pounds, this beautiful Poodle girl Charlie has already been through so much that she does not deserve. She came to us after the caring individual who found her, tried everything they could to help her get healthy.  Her illness and symptoms were just puzzling and frustrating for a diagnosis.  After thorough testing, we finally uncovered the truth about Princess Charlie.  She has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI). This means her body can’t properly digest food without daily enzyme supplements. The good news is that it is treatable with a consistent drug being administered.  Dogs with EPI can live happy, full, completely normal lives. The reality, though, is that her medication will be lifelong and averages about $200 per month. We know that someone is out there with the financial resources to love her and give her the medication monthly that will be her lifeline for a good long life. Princess  Charlie will need someone fully invested in her health — someone committed not just to loving her, but to advocating for her and keeping her on the treatment plan she needs to thrive.  This girl is SO worth it.   What we know about this special needs girl we call Princess Charlie, is that she is the sweetest, smartest little girl. She gets along beautifully with everyone and has such a gentle, loving spirit. Even after a rough start to her young life, she greets each day with hope and kindness. She truly deserves nothing but the very best from here on out. If you’ve ever wanted to make a true life-changing difference for a dog who needs someone to rescue her for her lifetime, our girl Princess Charlie is your girl. She doesn’t need a perfect person — she just needs a committed one.  Your reward is her undying love, her sweet smile every morning and her spirit of joy that is so contagious.  Please write to us and we can tell you more about how easy this is to treat.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com            PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 27, 2026, 9:01 pm

As she's been in a Prison, we do not know about children or cats yet, but she will be tested when moved to her foster home. If you want to know about the Dalmadoodle... A Dalmadoodle is a cross between a purebred Dalmatian and a purebred Standard Poodle. This pairing is intentional, not accidental, and is designed to balance: The Dalmatian’s loyalty, athleticism, and alert nature The Standard Poodle’s intelligence, trainability, and often low-shedding coat The result is a dog that is smart, people-focused, active, and deeply bonded to its family. Temperament is one of the biggest reasons families are drawn to Dalmadoodles. They are: Affectionate and people-oriented Intelligent and eager to learn Loyal to their family Alert without being aggressive Playful, but capable of settling with proper routine Dalmadoodles tend to form strong bonds with their owners and do best in homes where they are included in daily life. This is not a breed that thrives when left alone for long periods with little interaction. Because of their intelligence, they do especially well with owners who enjoy training, structure, and engagement. Story
Lollipop is a little sweetheart and she has tons of personality! Her mom is a small B&W rat terrier mix and dad is a doodle. Mom was taken in as a stray by a lady with an unaltered doodle. Before she could find a rescue to help with mom, she became pregnant. Lollipop was the runt in the litter. She is friendly, loving and smart! She is also a major snuggler! She likes to wrap her head around your neck and nestle in! Lolli is great with other dogs and people of all ages. She has not been around a cat yet but we are confident she will be fine with proper intro. Being the runt, she always seems to end up on the bottom and she still plays hard and never gets mad! Lolli is healthy, UTD on puppy shots and worming. She will be spayed and microchipped before going to her forever home. Based on puppy weight calculators we think she will be between 25 and 35 lbs. If you would like to add this sweetheart to your family, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com. If you do not see a response, please check your spam folder.
