Cal-Poodle male, ~ 1-2 yr. (Dec. 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Cal came to Rescue when his prior owner called for help. They are traveling a lot for work and just felt it was in Cal's best interest to have a home where he wouldn't be alone so much. He's a beauty, with a friendly disposition and a lot of love to give. Cal is about 65-70# and is probably fully grown. Poodles can be very good family dogs due to their intelligence, affectionate nature, and loyalty. Cal is used to living in a family setting with adults. Poodles are highly trainable and generally get along well with children and other pets when properly socialized. He has lived with other dogs, with no problems, although will enjoy getting to see more of the world with a new family. He requires a fair amount of mental and physical exercise, consistent grooming, and will thrive when he is included in family life rather than being left alone for long periods. Cal's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Dakota is about a year old and he’s happy and playful. He has a story similar to other doodles where he was purchased as a puppy by a senior citizen and then when he got older and bigger, he became too much. He was given to a family temporarily that had several children and they loved him, but they were never home and decided they didn’t want to keep him so they gave him to another senior lady that had just lost her husband. Unfortunately , he was too much for her also so he ended up in rescue. He’s really not wild. He’s just a puppy and he’s happy and playful. He would be great in an active family with children. He also plays very well with other dogs. Dakota is neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative and micro chipped. He’s very sweet and very smart. When he was with the family, they taught him to sit and wait for his dinner while they said their prayers and then he could eat. Mistletoe is a little sweetheart and she has tons of personality! Her mom is a small B&W rat terrier mix and dad is a doodle. Mom was taken in as a stray by a lady with an unaltered doodle. Before she could find a rescue to help with mom, she became pregnant. Mistletoe, th runt in the litter, is friendly, loving and smart! She is great with other dogs and people of all ages. She has not been around a cat yet but we are confident she will be fine with proper intro. Being the runt, she always seems to end up on the bottom and she still plays hard and never gets mad! Mistletoe is healthy, UTD on puppy shots and worming. She will be spayed and microchipped before going to her forever home.
