Prentiss is a beautiful standard Poodle born on March 27, 2025. She’s a sweet, loving, and gentle girl. Prentiss gets along wonderful with other dogs and kids. She got to meet a few cats at her last vet visit and didn't have any issues with them as well. She knows how to walk on a leash and is almost potty trained. If she has an accident, she knows to use the pads. She loves to play with balls and stuffed animals. Prentiss rides great in the car and seems to really enjoy it. She is a total love bug. She gives lots of kisses and likes to snuggle up in the bed with you. This precious girl would make a great addition to any home. We would prefer that she goes to a home that has another dog because she loves other dogs so much.

Thankfully, a kind neighbor contacted the shelter after a few days, and Caesar is now ready for his next chapter. When he arrived, his coat was quite matted, but underneath it all was a healthy, happy boy who had clearly known love at some point—he’s already neutered and seems to be house trained. Based on her condition and background, it is highly likely that she was used as a breeding dog and may have given birth multiple times. At the time of rescue, Rian did not appear to be in good health. However, with consistent care and attention from the rescue team, her overall condition has significantly improved, and she is now stable and well cared for. Her age is an estimate, as dogs from illegal breeding facilities rarely come with accurate records. The environment she lived in was extremely poor, and she has significant dental damage. This is a common characteristic seen in dogs rescued from puppy mills, often caused by repetitive stress behaviors such as biting and chewing metal cage bars over long periods of confinement. **Personality & Temperament Rian is a very gentle, calm, and affectionate dog who prefers staying close to her caregiver. She shows little interest in other animals and enjoys quiet companionship with people.
