This gorgeous girl came to us after being surrendered by her previous family and she is now looking for a forever home where she can be cherished and adored Maggie absolutely loves people and thrives on human companionship. She also enjoys attention, affection, and being included in her family's Daily life if you're looking for a loyal companion to be by your side, Maggie might be the perfect fit. Maggie prefers not to share her space with other animals so we think she would do best as an only pet and a fenced in yard would be nice. She definitely needs some training because she is not leach trained .she enjoys her sole attention from her people. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. He lost his home due to a move into a small apt where there is little grass. They felt they could not keep him and do right by Teddy. He is soooo sweet! We were told Teddy is a standard Poodle and he certainly looks to be just that. However we do not provide DNA and therefore cannot guarantee that this is true. Stella is a 3.5-year-old, 45-pound dog whose life has been shaped by both deep love and repeated loss. None of it her fault. She was first surrendered to ACCT Philly due to seizures, placing her at risk with a time-stamped outcome. From there, she was rescued by Familiar Hearts Animal Society, given the care she needed, and finally adopted into a home of her own. For a while, Stella had what every dog deserves. But after nine months, she was returned. Again because of her seizures. And still, Stella remains exactly who she has always been :: a happy, gentle, deeply loving soul. She has a beautiful balance of energy, content to lounge by your side, yet quick to invite another dog into a playful game. She’s easy on leash, a wonderful walking companion, and adaptable to a variety of homes. Stella is especially tender with other animals, doing well with dogs and even cats, and she lights up around people, particularly children. Stella does have epilepsy, which means she will always experience seizures. Most are brief focal episodes lasting just seconds and don’t seem to interrupt her joy or engagement with life. Less frequently, she may have more significant seizures. She is on medication to help manage them, and her care team continues to learn what her “normal” looks like as her patterns evolve. What’s important to understand is this :: Stella is not a dog waiting to be fixed. She is a dog already living a full, connected, and joyful life. She is looking for a home that can meet her with steadiness and compassion. Someone who isn’t afraid of her diagnosis, but instead sees the extraordinary dog in front of them :: the one who keeps choosing joy, connection, and play, no matter how many times her world has changed. Winston is a big fluffy happy high energy boy! He is very sweet, loves hard and plays hard. Winston cannot go to a home with kids due to his mouthy form of play. There is no aggression just overly excited. He does know a few basic commands and takes treats very nicely. He does need some basic training especially on leash, he pulls and crisscross in front of you while walking. He can be very reactive to strangers when out walking as well. 🐾 **Songi & Paengi – A Second Chance at the Life They Deserve** 🐾 Songi and Paengi's story began with heartbreak, but we're hoping it ends with love. Their former owner, a man, disappeared for reasons unknown, leaving both dogs behind. They were eventually discovered abandoned in the home, neglected and struggling to survive. When the owner's mother visited after receiving complaints from neighbors about constant barking, she found the house in terrible condition and the dogs severely neglected. Before contacting a shelter, she sold both dogs to a pet shop. When we learned about their situation, we knew we couldn't leave them there. We paid the pet shop to bring them into our care because both girls were unspayed, and we feared they could end up being used for breeding. Today, Songi and Paengi are safe at a private rescue center in Korea and have made an incredible recovery, both physically and emotionally. When they arrived, they were dangerously underweight. They suffered from severe diarrhea, excessive eye discharge, and badly matted coats. Despite everything they had endured, neither dog lost her gentle spirit. Both girls are sweet, affectionate, and incredibly loving with people. They enjoy the company of other dogs and have adapted beautifully to life in the rescue center. While they have never been introduced to cats, we do not expect them to show aggression toward them. Songi and Paengi share a special bond, and it would be wonderful if they could be adopted together. However, we understand that isn't always possible, and we are also open to finding them separate homes if the right families come along. Pablo has done well in doggie day care, although he'll bark at big dogs until he feels comfortable, He has lived with another dog but has had no exposure to cats. He's fine with kids. He loves plastic, textured toys but will destroy stuffies and dog beds. He does well in his crate with a blanket or towels. He does have a bit of separation anxiety so his owner will leave the radio on for him while she's out. He is home during the day for 6-8 hours but would do best with someone home more.
