We rescued them from a friend's neighborhood. They are sisters and love each other, so the right family will need to adopt them together. They play together all day and don't need to be entertained at all. At night time they come cuddle with us while we're watching TV. They are up to date on their shots, and the next round of shots are due in a month or so. They are not spayed yet as they are still too young. We need to re-home them due to allergies to cats that we didn't know we had... We love them so much, so we might be a bit picky in choosing the right family for them.Tiger (Tabby one) is more shy and super smart. It took her so long to let us pet her, but now that she lets us, she pours super loud. Piglet (The gray one with white chin and belly) is not shy and loves food. She let us pet her after a few days of rescue. They both love playing with Teaser Wands and other cat toys.

Marion is a very sweet cat. We have had him for a year, so he is a little over a year old. He likes to cuddle, especially in the evening and in the afternoons which can get tricky if you have zoom meetings. He can be a little timid around kids, but has never brought out his claws on our 4-year old. We need to help him find a new home because our schedule just has us moving around a lot and it's been too busy with a little kid.

Emmy was rescued from the streets when she was just 5 weeks old and is now thriving in a loving foster home. This adorable little firecracker is full of personality, spunk, and playful energy! This beautiful 4-month-old brown tabby loves to stalk wand toys, chase anything that moves, and, once she feels safe, happily accepts pets, purrs, and even relaxes with her tummy on display. Beneath her cautious exterior is a sweet, gentle kitten just waiting to let her personality shine. New people don't always meet the real Sora, Taki, or Hoshi right away. They meet kittens who are carefully figuring out their new surroundings. Give them gentle voices, slow movements, a consistent routine, and a little time, and something wonderful happens—they blossom. They become playful, affectionate kittens who purr during pets, chase toys for hours, climb their cat tree, use their scratching posts like pros, and fill the house with joyful kitten energy. Each sibling has a unique personality—Sora is the bold explorer, Taki is the gentle observer, and Hoshi is the thoughtful little huntress—but they all share one thing in common: once they know they're safe, they show you exactly who they are. Notes from foster:  ● The shyest and most cautious of the three, whose transformation has been wonderful to watch. ● It took her close to two weeks to really begin opening up. She now recognizes me, accepts petting, purrs, and has become comfortable enough to lie with her tummy exposed. ● She is an excellent little huntress and absolutely loves to play, especially with toys she can stalk and chase. ● Underneath the cautious exterior is a very sweet, gentle, playful kitten who has shown in a short time she is capable of trusting and forming a strong bond with those she trusts. They seem to do best with gentle voices, slow movements, consistency, and routine while they settle into a calm environment. New people may not immediately see the kittens I came to know. Once they feel safe, they blossom. They happily accept pets, purr, and become much more engaged with both their people and their surroundings. Watching that trust develop has been one of the most rewarding parts of fostering them. Once comfortable, they are also playful and will chase each other around for hours. They enjoy wand toys, strings, wire toys, balls, lasers...pretty much anything they can hunt or chase. Their current favorite is a simple wire-and-cardboard toy. They've also clearly benefited from having one another for confidence, play, and companionship. They have been excellent with their litter boxes throughout their stay. I provided one litter box per kitten, and keeping them clean seemed to encourage those good habits. All three consistently use the vertical scratching post rather than furniture. I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Cat Holding 1:11Gala & Honeycrisp are a pair that's ripe for the right home. Like a crisp apple, their sweetness shines through once you get to know them. These bonded sisters arrived at the shelter wary of people and ready to tell you so with a hiss, but they've made wonderful progress. They now eat liquid treats with gusto, play enthusiastically with toys, and purr during visits. As they continue learning that gentle touch comes with good things, their confidence grows each day. Gala and Honeycrisp are looking for experienced cat guardians who understand that trust is earned, not rushed.
