Story
Oliver is about 3 years old +/-. I saw him outside in my neighborhood in distressed &hungry. For a few months I brought him food, water and shelter outside. He injured his paw so I took him to the vet brought him into my basement to recover. I didn’t intend to keep him since I already had a dog and 2 rescue cats, but I was unable to find him a home. He’s been with me for about a year. My heart is heavy with the thought of rehoming him but he isn’t safe in my home because my 2 cats bully & attack him. All 3 are indoor/outdoor. Both of my cats have aggressively attacked him. The most recent attack resulted in a puncture wound that became infected. If he stays here he will continue to get hurt. Oliver craves human attention, which he is not getting enough of. He stays in my basement and repeatedly paws at the cat door from the basement seeking attention. I fear he will break it and be exposed to my cats. Oliver loves people, loves to snuggle, and to play with toys. He’s a sweetie.

Story
Hazel was found in a parking lot by a neighbor as a baby & we took her in & raised her. Life changes has led to the difficult decision to rehome our pretty kitty. She likes being called pretty, lap snuggles, and playing. She will tolerate other animals and children as long as everything is calm & on her terms, but I do think Hazel would be happiest as a single house cat. She likes to nap in the sun and hang out around her people all day. Shes pretty active & social during the day. She’s not overly vocal but she will chatter with you. She’s a fun cat.

Story
My husband and I found this little guy under our back deck alone. We brought him in and he and our small dog have gotten along well. He immediately used a litter box. Now that he's grown some, we're guessing he's about 8 months old, he's able to jump up on counter tops, window sills, etc. We're dog people and know a ton about dogs, but weren't ready or equipt to have a cat in the house and just personally don't want to make our house any more cat friendly than we already have. We want him to be in a loving home with people who enjoy having a cat around, we've just realized we sadly do not. We've had him indoors and have gotten him neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Three beautiful, healthy, rambunctious kittens... Extremely friendly, litter box trained, eating both dry and wet food. They were born under our front porch... we took them and the mama cat in. Mama has since been spayed... And now we need to find these curious little kittens good homes.

Story
Keebler is very very skid-dish and nervous due to his previous environment so he takes patience initially and will hide mostly until he warms up to you. I would prefer he and his brother stay together since they have always been together. Price includes cat bowls some treats and toys..

Story
Salina – ID# 19117 – Kennel #600 – Arrived May 19th – Domestic Shorthair Mix – Fawn and Orange Tabby – Female – 5 Years Old – 13.25 lbs – Spayed – Up to Date on Vaccines – FIV/FeLV Negative Salina is a five-year-old fawn and orange tabby with soft golden fur, subtle tabby striping, and warm amber eyes that give her a gentle, knowing expression. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on May 19th and has been quietly waiting for someone to notice just how lovely she is. At 13.25 lbs she is a nicely rounded, solid presence — the kind of cat who fills a lap completely and makes a room feel warmer just by being in it. Salina is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and fully up to date on her vaccines — ready in every way to walk straight into a home and settle in. At five years old she is in the prime of her life, past the unpredictable kitten years and fully grown into the calm, beautiful cat she is today. A cat like Salina does not need much — a warm spot by the window, a soft place to curl up, and someone who will appreciate her quiet, steady presence. She has already shown she knows how to be content, tucked in with her little ball and her blanket, waiting patiently for the right person to come along. Salina deserves a home where she can finally exhale and simply be herself. She is a gorgeous, golden girl with many wonderful years ahead of her, and she is ready to spend them with someone who will truly cherish her. Come meet her in Kennel #600 — she will be right there waiting, as patient and lovely as ever. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
