Story
Meet Monroe! Aka Monty! An old man name for a cat with a very old soul. Monroe is my heart. We picked him up from Monroe, Georgia, as a little kitten on February 6, 2021. He's around 5 years old, now, and he's got a lot of life to live. Monroe is a spoiled indoor cat. He's had many opportunities to slip through our cracked front door over the years, but prefers simple luxuries like A/C and consistent meals. It's amusing to watch him contemplate the great outdoors and almost shake his head no - too self-aware, and too much of a scaredy cat to entertain the thought for long. Monroe is an anxious cat. He's slow to trust, and takes some coaxing out. But once he likes you, he's a ride or die. He is so full of love. I hope it comes across in the pictures. His eyes are so tender. I pray there's a lucky person out there who will get the opportunity to see that for themselves. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Story
Meet Ditto, the buff and white cuddle Pokémon with a big personality and an even bigger love for snacks! This round little sweetheart is food motivated, attention motivated, and pretty much motivated by anything that involves being adored. Ditto loves belly rubs, toys, and playtime with his siblings. One of his signature moves is flopping dramatically onto his back for pets… then realizing getting back up is a whole side quest. With his playful spirit, silly charm, and snuggly nature, Ditto is ready to use Transform and become your perfect little best friend. He would like to be adopted into a home with a kitty friend to play with! ----- The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around May 8th, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet. Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care. We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport. Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption. We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason. For the application - please visit https://thekittenproject.org/adopt/form-adopter-info?petName=Ditto

Story
Hello! This is Honey, she is around 5 months old and needs a loving home. I found her outside in my apartment complex about 3 months ago as a small kitten and have been trying to find a home for her since. She is very sweet and playful- she gets along with our cats just fine. She needs to be spayed and get her vaccines. I would like her to go to a home where she is strictly an inside cat.

Story
Bandito is 6 and we’ve fostered her since she was born. She comes with her mom, Bandit, as a bonded pair. While we’ve taken these years to socialize her, she is still skittish and will take a couple weeks to grow trust and feel comfortable in her new home. She is adorable, funny, goofy, trills when she’s excited, and loves love, although she doesn’t always know how to receive it. She comes with big ears, big beautiful eyes, and a gorgeous swirl on her coat. Bandito also typically stays to herself or mom, but doesn’t have any issues with other cats.

Story
We found Bandit in our backyard the first night in our new home 7ish years ago. We have since taken her in as a foster, cared and socialized her and her daughter, Bandito, as our 4th and 5th cat. We’ve tried to introduce them to the rest of house but Bandit and our other female cat have struggled to meld. She only has territorial struggles with our female cat, she doesn’t seem to care about our two other males. Bandito doesn’t have issue with anyone. We have a child on the way now and want to find a loving home for the two of them, and they come as a bonded pair. While they have been socialized, they can be quite skittish, so they may take a couple weeks until they are comfortable with new owners. They are both extremely loving and sweet, and cute to boot!! They have also both been spayed and can come with food, toys, a litter box, scratch pads and little huts. We would love to keep them but no longer feel our home is the best one to allow them to flourish and get the love they deserve

Story
Say hello to Bingo! Bingo, her mom Chilli, and her sister Bluey were brought into our program when another rescue found the family and didn`t have the resources to take them on. Thankfully, one of our employees took them home until we found a foster! Since the family has come into our care, the babies have shown us just how sweet, silly, and playful they are. Now, it is time to find this family homes of their own. Bingo`s adoption fee is $150 which includes her spay, age appropriate vaccinations, a negative combo test, and a microchip. We do require that kittens under 6 months of age to go to a home with other animals. If you do not have another animal, we ask that you adopt 2 kittens from us. The adoption fee for 2 kittens is $200. If you are interested in adopting Bingo, please email us at adoptions@pawprojectofgeorgia.org or submit an inquiry!
