Story
If eyes are the window to the soul, then Tommy's soul must be very deep and rich, with his captivating green eyes! While it will take time to get to know Tommy and connect with his soul, once you do, you will have the unbeatable reward of his devotion and love. Tommy's foster mom took that journey with him and has transformed him from a confused and frightened cat to a loving and faithful companion. Now Tommy’s first love is not treats, food or toys. He just loves to be loved. He is content to lay by his foster mom for as long as she will rub his body. He is expanding his trust now and beginning to get used to new people visiting him. There are still things that frighten him (loud noises, quick movements). Frightening things may bring out a hiss, but it is quickly accompanied by a very kitten like meow. Once his foster mom’s hand hand touches him, he melts. He goes into a Zen state as his foster mom rubs his face, and head and is no hurry to leave her side. Tommy will do best in a quiet and stable home with no cats or children. Tommy is afraid of the foster’s cat but will walk freely around her quiet dog. He is an extremely clean cat, his litter box habits are the cleanest his foster mom has seen. His adopter must be an experienced cat person who is patient and understanding. It is crucial to allow Tommy the time and space he requires to acclimate to his new environment and develop a trust in his new person. Once that trust is established and you have touched his soul, Tommy will be a very loving companion Adoption fee is a minimum $55 per senior cat donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV negative. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! Story
Korrie is a social, friendly and confident 1-2 yr old petite young lady. She enjoys meeting new people and will be happy to greet your guests. She is not demanding of attention. At times, she likes hanging out with her people and being part of the action. At other times, she is happy to entertain herself by chasing around a toy mouse, or curling up in the sun for a nice nap. A tabby girl with prominent black stripes, Korrie's distinguishing feature is her unique tail. It folds back on itself in a "U" shape right near the end, so it looks like she is beckoning to you! She also has luminous green eyes. True to her feminine nature, Korrie will let you know when she is in the mood for affection and can sometimes play hard to get. When she is in the mood, she enjoys all of the petting she receives, including chin and cheek rubs, forehead scratches and long strokes down her back. She purrs, makes biscuits, and follows your hand with her head to get more. Korrie would likely be happiest as your one and only pet. She gets along with other cats, but likes to be the center of attention. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV negative. Discounted adoption fee if two cats are adopted together, $150 for a pair. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! Please email gotfriendlies@feralfixers.org or call (630) 881-7459 for more information.

Story
Hi! My name is Lyssa! I have the tiniest, high pitched meow you will ever hear. And you will hear it often because I love humans and I check in on them all the time! I want to be near you and have my belly rubbed as much as possible. I am super smart. The coolest thing about me is that I have extra toes on all my paws. I am a little girl with big paws and an even bigger heart! I was born in June 2024 and bottle fed until I was old enough to eat on my own. I am very attached to my sister, Lyndsay. She is the adventurous one who gives me courage. We can't wait to find a forever home for us with more people to love! Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. In her foster mom's words - Lyndsay is a light! She is the sweetest, most positive little being, who brings joy to every situation. Here is what she has to say: Hi! I am Lyndsay! I love belly rubs and my sister, Lyssa. I have a heart shaped nose which I'm told is incredibly cute! I love to be with people and other kitties alike. I was born in June 2024 and bottle fed until I was old enough to eat on my own. My sister, Lyssa, and I enjoy exploring and meeting new things in life together. Story
Grecco is a charming tabby boy with soft brown fur and beautiful stripes. Born in July 2024, he is polite and easygoing, but also curious and playful. He is a very chatty cat, with a full range of meows, chirps and “brrrrpp” sounds to express his excitement, questions, and the occasional complaint! There are no secrets with Grecco, you will always know what he’s thinking about. Grecco loves to play with the ball tower, and to chase the wand toys, but his top favorite toys are the little stuffed toy mice! He loves to chase them, bat them around, and chew on the little tails. If you throw the toy mouse across the floor, he will chase it - and often, bring it back to you! Grecco loves to be pet, and even likes belly rubs! He has a good appetite and is a card-carrying member of the Clean Plate Club. He is curious about other cats, and would thrive in a house with another welcoming cat. He enjoys sharing the attention, and having another kitty to play with. He also enjoys his people companions, and may be OK as a single cat in a home with someone home most of the time to give him lots of love and attention. Grecco would do well in a quieter home, and comes out of his shell in a calm and relaxed environment. He is friendly, curious, and ready to make new friends! Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $150 for a pair. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! Story
Finnegan, Finn for short is a wonderful cat, that has been through a lot. Finn has Stomatitis, a disease that causes his gums to react to the tartar on his teeth and become very sore and inflamed. To eliminate this, he has had all but his two teeth removed. He is in otherwise great health, super affectionate and eats like all the other fosters in the house, without a problem. He loves to lay on his back across his foster parent's chest and receive belly rubs. His foster family decided to adopt his brother Mickey, Finn would be suited best in a home where he had loads of love and attention and no other animals._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Finn is $ 200.00WANT TO MEET FinnThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Finn and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.orgAll our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. Story
Hello, my name is Mary Jane but you can call me MJ. My foster mom says I'm a stunning girl with striking green eyes and unique markings. I say I'm just an average girl looking for her forever home. I was found living outside with a bunch of feral cats, however, the humans noticed I am too friendly to be feral. It's taking me a while to get used to all the smells, sights and sounds of my foster home. I get a little jumpy sometimes, but that is to be expected. Like a lot of cats, I'm not a fan of being picked up or handled. Now, belly rubs and pets, I'll accept those all day and night! I'm also starting to play. My foster home has other cats looking for their forever families. I'm fine with them. I am getting more confidence every day. If you adopt me and give me time to adjust, I promise to be a wonderful family member. Love, Mary Jane.I would also love it if I could be adopted with my BFF Norman._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Mary Jane is $ 200.00WANT TO MEET Mary JaneThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Mary Jane and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.orgAll our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. Story
Parker is a fun-loving, young black cat who enjoys playing with the other kitties in her foster home. She is a sweetie and a beauty, yet no one has expressed interest in adopting Parker. Did you know black cats (and dogs) are harder to adopt out? They shouldn't be because they are awesome! Please give Parker a chance. She has been in foster care since she was a young kitten._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Parker is $ 200.00WANT TO MEET ParkerThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Parker and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.orgAll our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes.
