Story
Anduin came to us in 2021 when he was roughly a year old. His playful nature, curiosity, and love for lap naps won us over quickly.  He is a very social cat who loves being part of the day! However, as our daughter has grown into a boisterous toddler, he has become very stressed. We want to find him a calmer home where he can feel safe again.Anduin is:• Social and vocal (loves greeting friends and family)• Playful and curious (enjoys bird watching and playtime)• Lap-loving and affectionate• Neutered, microchipped, and litter box trained• Managed for FLUTD (requires a prescription diet)Last summer we had our daughter. As she has become an active toddler, Anduin has made it clear that our home is now a stressful environment for him. We've worked with our vet to help him feel safe, but he truly needs a home without young children. We love him so much and hope to find someone who will appreciate his social personality!$50 rehoming fee includes remaining prescription food & favorite toys.

Story
Oscar is an orange and white striped Tabby. This little guy was found and brought to our local animal care and control in early September 2024. His birthday is guesstimated to be around September 1st. He and his littermates: Ashley, Billy, Bob, Blue, Fox, Jeff, and Smoke joined our rescue on September 27, 2024. Oscar is currently living in a home with other cats and dogs. Oscar spends his day playing hide and seek. He is a quiet cat. He is litter box trained and not very needy. His favorite time of the day is meal-time. Adoption Process Caring Animal Rescue Inc believes that every animal deserves a good home, but we also believe that not every animal is right for every home. We take the time to learn about an animal's behavior and match it with the lifestyle of potential adopters. All applicants must submit an online adoption application. You must provide verifiable vet references, verifiable address match, and character references. If you list that you are the owner of a home, we will verify property records. If you list that you are a tenant, we will verify that pets are allowed on your lease agreement with your tenant. By applying to adopt, you are agreeing that we have permission to contact your vet, landlord, and character references. If you do not agree with our screening process, please do not apply. Applicants must agree to our screening processes before a meet and greet, and at-home visit is scheduled. All existing animals within the home must be up to date with vaccinations and spayed/ neutered. All kittens under 9 months old will be adopted in pairs unless there is an existing cat in the home. Completing our application does not guarantee that you will be matched with one of our animals. We are under no obligation to disclose our reason(s) for our decision. Please note: Our adoption fees will vary. Our Adoption Process: 1. Please apply here: https://www.caringanimalrescueinc.com/adoption-form We require applications to be completed in their entirety. Any application with questions not answered fully will not be considered complete and will not be processed. 2. Please note that we are volunteers. We do not have any paid staff. All applications are processed outside of our normal non-rescue jobs. An application does not guarantee approval of adoption. Our decision is based on what is the best fit for our dogs and cats. We will call your character references, landlord if applicable, as well as your vet and any other necessary calls needed to approve or deny an application. 3. Phone or email interview. We will notify you if your application is approved. 4. Meet and greet - we will only schedule meet and greets for those who have passed steps 1-3. We ask that you come to our facility for the initial meet and greet. If you have children, roommates, or other dogs, they must also be present. 5. Home visit/ Pet meet and greet - we want to make sure that all humans and pets are a good match! Due to the requirement of home visits, we are currently adopting only 25 miles or less of our location. The distance is at our discretion, as we must factor in gas and round-trip travel time. We are not currently adopting out-of-state. We have chosen a small radius near our facility to provide support to our adopted animals and their new families. Caring Animal Rescue Inc. does not have any paid staff. All monies, adoption fees, donations, etc., go directly to paying for the shelter and care of the animals in our rescue. If all goes well at the home visit, the pet can stay, and we will move on to step 6. 6. Adoption Finalization - sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee - we accept cash, checks, Venmo, or PayPal. Please note that there is an additional processing fee for PayPal and Venmo. What does your adoption fee cover? Dogs: Age-appropriate vaccinations such as Rabies ( must be 3-4 months of age determined by our vet), DA2PP, and Bordetella. Spay/ Neuter Heartworm Snap Test for dogs 6 months and older. Microchip Deworming Flea/Tick, HW meds, and antibiotics (if needed) while in our care. Cats Age-appropriate vaccinations such as Rabies ( must be 3-4 months of age, determined by our vet) and FVRCP vaccinations. Story
I found this little guy on my walk home. He had to have been only 3 weeks when I found him. He still needed to be bottle fed. So I did my best to help the little guy. He’s about 3 months now and is doing so much better. He’s gained a good amount of weight, loves attention, is very curious and LOVES TO PLAY! He does have a lot of energy because he’s still a little guy but he is so full of love. He loves to nibble on hands and fingers and loves toys. Unfortunately I cannot keep him because my dogs do not get along with cats. I just want him to be in a safe environment where he can freely roam around the house. I have had to keep him only in my room because my dogs would get to him. Please feel free to ask any questions 💕💕💕The picture of him when he was small was about 2 weeks after I found him.

Story
Meet Luna!Luna is the sweetest, most cuddly cat I have ever met. I took her and her kitten Pigeon in from a chaotic household to give the new momma some peace and quiet. She was a little shy at first, but warmed up super fast. She has turned out to be a very curious and sweet girl. I don't know how old she is, but she seems kind of small. I hope this kitty will steal your heart the way she did mine- feel free to reach out with any questions, comments, or to learn more about Luna's story!

Story
Leimon is a 2-year-old neutered cat with a sweet personality and a lot of love to give. He is fully vaccinated and has been a very special part of my life. I’m looking for a new home for Leimon because my life has recently changed after welcoming my baby. This is not an easy decision, and what matters most to me is finding him a safe, loving, and permanent home where he can receive the attention and affection he deserves. Leimon deserves someone who will see him as family — someone who will give him a comfortable place to sleep, care for him, play with him, and love him for many years to come. 🐱💕 I’m not looking to simply give him away. I want to find the right person or family for him, and I would love to know a little about his future home before making a decision. If you are genuinely interested in giving Leimon a loving forever home, please send me a message and tell me a little about yourself and your experience with cats. Please feel free to share so we can help Leimon fin

Story
Zoey and Ellie are two wonderful, calm, friendly, adult cats. They have no special needs and are both healthy. They both do just fine with kids, dogs, and other cats. Ellie is independent until she decides she wants some love, or food. She loves food! She also loves people and loves to greet new people.Zoey is super cuddly especially night. She loves to be pet. She takes a little more time to warm up to new people. She will hide and watch from afar until she is ready. Then she will purr like crazy. We love these cats but I am working two jobs with two small kids and I just can't handle the upkeep or buying litter and food.We would like to keep them together if possible. But also open to separating them, they just need a loving home.
