Story
My name is Ralph and I'm a friendly 1 yr old male cat. I was living on the streets so my fur is not the greatest but it improves each day and I get brushed and continue to groom myself as well. I'm a very friendly guy who settles into my environment very quickly. I have tolerated the dog as long as he doesn't show interest in me. So with a mellow dog, I could do well but I would also do well with a female feline companion. I'm playful and absolutely affectionate seeking out your love and attention whenever I see you.

Story
“We’ll be friends forever, won’t we, Pooh?’ asked Piglet. Even longer,’ Pooh answered.” Why Hello! We are Fawkes (Gray and white 5 year old male) and Maple (Tabico (5 month female). We are a bond BEST FRIENDS duo! Our foster Mom sometimes says we remind her of Winnie the Pooh (Fawkes) and Piglet (Maple). Behind our adorable faces is a story of resilience and love. We both came to kitty connection as strays at different times. We ended up getting adopted but sadly had to come back to kitty connection due to extenuating circumstances. Although we were sad to lose our home we met each other in that home and fell in love. We are now on our next journey TOGETHER. When I Fawkes first came to Kitty Connection I had a terrible eye injury. I was able to get the treatment I needed and had my eye removed. I recently also had to have several teeth removed which Kitty Connection is helping me with as well. I am happy to have that behind me! I am feeling better and am not afraid to show it! I am a sweet ball of joy, gentle , sweet and loving. I like to snuggle with my best friend Maple and my foster parents. I love my Maple very much and protect her and make her feel at ease. Maple can be anxious at times and I am there to make her feel calm and safe. I, Maple, was born outside. A nice lady came to help me, but was told I wasn’t friendly enough to adjust to living inside. She didn’t want to give up on me and brought me to Kitty Connection. It was hard for me to adjust at first, but I am learning how nice these humans can be. As they have extended their hand to me I am learning to extend my paw back! My foster parents are patient with me, and understand it takes time for me to trust. The key to my heart is play time! I love playing with my foster Dad. The wand toy is my favorite. I love to play with Fawkes and cuddle as well! Play time here we come! Zoomies?? I GOT THAT. Because I am still learning to fully trust humans, it's important for my forever parents to understand I am shy and anxious at times. My best friend Fawkes helps me feel safe, secure, and gives me the confidence to be more brave on this journey that I am on. Always reminding me that I am never alone and I always have my Fawkes by my side. We are looking for a quiet home where our forever parents understand our journey! Forever parents who understand it will take some patience with Maple and give Maple and Fawkes all the TLC they need. Are you ready to go on this special journey with us? We can’t wait to find you.

Story
Hello! I’m Goldie, a 2½‑year‑old orange tabby with snowy white patches. I’ve had a tough start in life, so I take a little Prozac to help my me feel steady and secure. Don’t worry — I’m very good about taking it when you mix it into my wet food. I eat every bite. But between you and me? Dry food is the true love of my life. My Foster Parents Say: I’ve made amazing progress. I’m proud of myself, too! I have excellent litter‑box manners. I like routine, calm spaces, and humans who understand that sometimes a girl needs a little room to settle in. My Favorite Hobbies: -Bird‑watching and “hunting” from my window throne -Doing short bursts of playtime (I’m an Olympic sprinter, not a marathoner) -Rolling onto my back and showing off my fuzzy belly -Sometimes you can rub it, sometimes you cannot (I will not be providing a schedule) -Sitting in the same room as you because I like your company -Coming when you call me and inspecting everything you’re doing (yes, I’m that kind of cat and I need to be in the know!) -Curling up on the couch near you… or in your bed… or in any cardboard box you leave lying around My Dream Home: I would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home with no other pets. I’m a sensitive girl, and I need a patient, experienced cat person who understands that while I am VERY cute and make adorable little meows… …I also need space and time to feel safe. Once I trust you, I’ll follow you around, hang out near you, and maybe even present my extremely precious belly for admiration. So… Want to Love a Cat Who’s Soft, Silly, Sweet, and a Little Bit Special? If you’re looking for a companion who will adore being near you, come when called, nap in boxes, watch the world with curiosity, and bloom beautifully with patience and kindness… I think that companion might be me. Love, Goldie P.S. After a month in my foster home (as of 3/28/26), I’m doing so well. You can pick me up now and I’ll start purring, which is a big deal for me. I still get scared sometimes and I’m not always in the mood for pets, but I do want to be near you. I’ll follow you around the house like your slightly anxious little supervisor and keep track of everything you’re doing. I also have a playful side and I really need daily playtime to help me feel my best. Wand toys and stick toys are my favorite, and I love to run back and forth hunting my toy mice like a tiny athlete. I’m a little quirky, a little dramatic, and definitely my own person, but I’m getting braver every day. In a quiet, loving forever home, I truly believe I’ll keep blossoming and could even be weaned off my Prozac with time and patience.

Story
Hi - My name is Ellie and I’m a sweet and shy 3 year old female tabby. This is my second time with Kitty Connection. My original adopters didn’t feel like I was a good fit anymore so I’m back with Kitty Connection and looking for people who are patient and kind. I start off spicy, but I’m just afraid. Once I settle in, I love being around quiet humans and my foster mom’s quiet cats. I was originally in a home with a male kitty who had a lot of energy and that was too much for me. I love to play, but mostly by myself at night – although sometimes I’ll play with a wand toy with my foster mom. Her cats come in to say hello and then they go about their business which is just fine with me. I like to see them interact with my foster mom as it assures me that she’s a safe person. I think I’d like a home with other quiet and mellow kitties who don’t mind if I do my own thing. I wouldn’t like a home with a lot of people or kids who make a lot of noise and dogs are probably not something I would be comfortable with. Check out some of the videos my foster mom has taken. I tend to be afraid the first few minutes she’s with me and then she offers me a treat and I remember I like her. She’s very patient and tells me I’m pretty.

Story
All-white Bruno and tuxedo Troy are a pair of six-year-old bonded brothers who lost their home due to an eviction. Naturally, they were traumatized by this turn of events-- after all, cats don't know anything about rent or evictions, nor would it have been any easier on them if they had-- but they have learned that their foster mom is being nice to them and helping them on the road to emotional recovery. Like most cats, they would be happiest in an interactive household where they get lots of attention and play. We have not observed them with kids or dogs, but we think they would probably do well with pretty much anyone who knows how to treat a cat respectfully. Because they are a bonded pair, we will not consider adopting them separately-- they even groom each other. We think Bruno might be partly deaf, possibly completely deaf, but this does not affect his day-to-day life. Bruno and Troy strike a comfortable balance between independence and attachment. They are easy cats who would make a wonderful match for a first-time adopter.  They have been neutered, are current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. Their adopter will receive their medical records. They're being fostered in Gardner. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets, as well as in-person visits. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need. In their case, the adoption fee has been substantially reduced to $240 to facilitate a quick adoption-- a bargain for a pair of new best friends who will be devoted companions for life. Cats can live up to 20 years, so please consider whether you can commit to providing a safe, loving home for life before adopting. Please respond with a little about yourself and the home you would provide. Including your phone number is likely to lead to a faster response. Doing so helps us match cats with the right adopters.

Story
My name is Quinoa and I’m a sweet tuxedo girl with a funny face who’s ready to find my forever home. Soon after I arrived in foster care, even while still adapting to my new environment, I actively sought out human affection, companionship, and laps. I’m absolutely into chin scritches and I love to play with the humans and the other cats in my foster home. If you adopt me, I’ll make it my business to make sure you feel loved 24/7. I’m a very social girl, so if you’re away for typical work hours, I should have at least one other cat to keep me company. Even if you’ve never had a cat before, I promise I’ll make it easy for you.I’m a spayed female cat, a little over a year old and my shots are up to date. If you’re interested in adopting me, click the button that says “Ask about me.” It’s just to the right.
