Story
Hi! We’re Oreo and Reese, two 5½-year-old sisters who have been together our whole lives. We came all the way from the British Virgin Islands about five years ago and were adopted together. Now, through no fault of our own, our family is moving to an apartment that doesn’t allow cats, so we need a new home. And there’s one thing we know for sure: we want to stay together. We may be sisters, but you definitely won’t have trouble telling us apart — either by our looks or our personalities! 🐾 I’m Oreo, the black-and-white girl. I’m the more outgoing, affectionate sister and a serious snuggler once I know you. I love laps, have a wonderfully loud purr, and enjoy being wherever my people are. I’m playful and curious, too — toy mice are my favorite, and sometimes I’ll even ask my people to follow me around while I investigate things! I love affection, especially chin rubs, and I’m very good at letting you know when I’m ready for some love. I can be shy with strangers at first, but once I decide you’re one of my people, you’ll get to see my sweet, social, snuggly side. 🐾 And I’m Reese, the pretty striped girl. I’m the quieter, more independent sister. I’m sweet, curious, observant, and I like to take a little more time before deciding someone has earned my trust. But once I’m comfortable, my personality starts to shine. I especially love kneading on my favorite blanket — preferably when it’s draped over my person’s legs on the couch. It’s one of my favorite cozy routines! I also enjoy playing with corks and ping-pong balls and keeping a close eye on everything happening around me. Together, we enjoy the finer things in life: cat trees, scratching posts, windowsills, sunny spots, toys, cozy blankets, good food, naps, and being near our people. We can both be shy and skittish when we first meet someone, so we’re looking for people who understand that the best relationships sometimes take a little time. Give us patience and the chance to feel safe, and we’ll show you just how special we are. We’ve never lived with other pets, and with such a big transition ahead of us, we’d be happiest in a home without other animals. We’re good with adults; Oreo is comfortable with adults, while Reese hasn’t lived with children, so a calm household would be a great fit for us. We’re both spayed, microchipped, litter-box trained, and in good health. Most importantly, we’re a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. We’ve had each other through every chapter of our lives — from the British Virgin Islands to our first home and now through this unexpected change. We’d really like the next chapter to be the one where we find our forever family. I’m Oreo — the black-and-white, snuggly, social explorer. And I’m Reese — the striped, independent, observant sweetheart. Two sisters. Two very different personalities. One forever home. Could you be the person who gives us the happy ending we deserve? (Adoption fee is for both)

Story
Hi - My name is Ellie and I’m a sweet and shy 3 year old female tabby. This is my second time with Kitty Connection. My original adopters didn’t feel like I was a good fit anymore so I’m back with Kitty Connection and looking for people who are patient and kind. I start off spicy, but I’m just afraid. Once I settle in, I love being around quiet humans and my foster mom’s quiet cats. I was originally in a home with a male kitty who had a lot of energy and that was too much for me. I love to play, but mostly by myself at night – although sometimes I’ll play with a wand toy with my foster mom. Her cats come in to say hello and then they go about their business which is just fine with me. I like to see them interact with my foster mom as it assures me that she’s a safe person. I think I’d like a home with other quiet and mellow kitties who don’t mind if I do my own thing. I wouldn’t like a home with a lot of people or kids who make a lot of noise and dogs are probably not something I would be comfortable with. Check out some of the videos my foster mom has taken. I tend to be afraid the first few minutes she’s with me and then she offers me a treat and I remember I like her. She’s very patient and tells me I’m pretty.

Story
I rescued Zoe 4 years ago when she had nust turned one. She is a wonderful companion, loves to cuddle in my lap and sleep with me. She does well in a calm setting but gets nervous around people who are fearful or not comfortable with cats. She will try to scratch when she is afraid. The only reason I am looking for a new home for Zoe is because my medical issues. I recently had knee replacement surgery and developed an infection.i would love for her to go to a nice home.

Lilac is friendly, outgoing, and a confident girl! She is very sweet, easy-going and enjoys a good belly rub . Lilac had a little make over when she arrived in foster . She needed a couple matts shaved . Her fur is growing in and she is awaiting her forever home . Lilac is a cat with warmth . Great first time owner cat! Lilac would do well on her own or with one other feline. Lilac is estimated at 3 years old and fully vetted..

Story
Xavier is unlike any other cat I've had before; he is extremely affectionate, curious, and playful. He plays mainly with toys and does not scratch or bite when playing. He's the type of cat to not understand personal space, meaning he will look to rub his head against your face when your laying down, and love to cozy up next to you when sleeping. Xavier is originally from Puerto Rico and moved to Cambridge on January 2026. He is about a year old and has now experienced the full extent of the seasons. He seems to be more partial towards cooler weather and loves to stare out the window at passing people, animals, and cars.I do have to disclaim that currently Xavier is suffering from medical condition which is the reason I'm trying to rehome him. If you're interested in Xavier please reach out and we can talk so more!

Story
My name is Tweety and I'm a 4-year-old tabby girl and I'm posted with my kitten pal Han Solo. I was surrendered by people who never bothered to take me to the vet, so, predictably, I had lots and lots of kittens, then they gave me up with having too many cats as the reason for surrendering me. I never learned what happened to my babies. I like to be around people, but I admit it takes me a while to get used to new ones. Certain behaviors, such as wariness at being approached for petting by hands coming from above, being even more startled than most cats by sudden noises and movements, or guardedness around feet, make my fosters suspect I may have experienced abuse in my past, such as by being struck or kicked, but I'm not telling. I'll admit, I was kind of a mess until Han Solo came around. He's only about two and a half months old and he kind of reminds me of my babies. I didn't like him at first, but it didn't take him long to win me over with sheer cuteness. I'm not as much a mother to him as I am a big sister. We run around and play a lot-- he's the perfect companion for me because I have a lot of energy also. I know I'm bigger than he is, so I'm pretty gentle and I seem to be doing a good job of it. We've become a bonded pair, so neither of us will be adopted without the other. There are a couple of very young children in my foster home. I would probably be OK adopted into a home with older kids but younger ones don't always respect my boundaries. I respond with a swat, but I don't actually try to hurt them. We have been spayed/neutered, our shots are up to date, and we have tested negative for FIV and FeLV. We're being fostered in Charlestown. The total adoption fee for both of us is $325, which is putting us pretty cheap if you ask me. It's a huge discount. If you're interested in adopting us, click the button that says "Ask about us." Story
My name is Baby Bushytail, and I'm a tortoiseshell sweetheart, about a year and a half old. Our foster mom is being nice to us, and I adjusted to her home within a few days, although I haven't quite gotten used to the other cats just yet. She says I'm an affectionate purring machine. The people who rescued me seemed to think I have a little bit of Maine coon in me. I really like being brushed and combed, which is good because I'm a medium haired cat and we medium-haired girls really need that, and I will purr warmly in response. I have an adorable tiny kittenish meow. I wouldn't do well being left unaccompanied for long hours, and I should be adopted into a home where I'll get lots of playtime and attention, but then so should most other cats. I promise I'll be your best friend for life. I'm an easy-going kind of little girl and I would good companion for a first-time adopter.I have been spayed, and my shots are up to date. I have also tested negative for FeLV and FIV. I'm being fostered in Allston. If you're interested in adopting me, click the button that says "Ask about me." It's right over there.

Story
My name is Elvie and I'm a sweet tuxedo girl with a thin "got milk" mustache and beautiful golden eyes. I'm only about nine months old, so I'm still very much a kitten. I lost my home when my human family ran into some hard times. On top of that, there was another cat in the home who used to pick on me. Once I became the only cat in my foster home, I became much more relaxed and friendly. I'm still a bit shy at first, but my human fosters say that I'm a talkative little sweetheart. I love to play and I love to be pet. Because of my history of being intimidated by other cats, I would probably do best as the only cat in my adoptive home. I would do best in an interactive home where I'll get lots of playtime and attention. I would not do well left unaccompanied for long hours. I would be perfectly fine adopted by a first-time adopter sufficiently patient to allow me enough time to figure things out. I'm very cute and you would have to be out of your mind not to want to adopt me.My foster family is moving soon and they can't keep me after that. They're trying to get me adopted before that happens, so my adoption fee has been reduced. I'm a spayed female, my shots are up to date, and I have tested negative for FIV and FeLV. I'm being fostered in Somerville. If you're interested in adopting me, click the button that says "Ask about me." It's right down there.
