We adopted her from ACC in NYC . She is 2 and a half years old . Would do best in a home with no children . ABBEY'S past is unknown as the person that surrendered her in New York had a language barrier and what was relayed to us was that he couldn't keep her for unknown reasons. Abbey has revealed in her behavior that she was mistreated or neglected in some way. She is a little bit untrusting and has to gain your trust. She will adjust if given reassurance and some quiet space to rest and get used to new voices and surroundings. She especially loves Churu snacks and all treats in general. Abbey has a very Good appetite and loves to eat. She isn't picky at all about food choices. She likes to relax on the human bed but likes her own bed too with some privacy. When She feels safe. She will lay next to her human and stretch out. She especially loves the play mice toys and will surprise you with a steady game of fetch the mouse.

Khalesi or her nickname Bear, came from a friend’s litter. She is 9 years old and has been with the family since she was a kitten. She moved once to my mother’s unit within the same building. She is sweet, friendly, very cuddly, not very verbal, and loves to sit on window sills and look out an open screened window. We are looking for a home that is patient. Khalesi has shown signs of being sensitive or anxious by pacing around. She also sometimes doesn’t use her litter box to go number two. So a home that will give her the space, grace, care, and attention to adjust and open up are the priorities.

We are a bond BEST FRIENDS duo! Our foster Mom sometimes says we remind her of Winnie the Pooh (Fawkes) and Piglet (Maple). Behind our adorable faces is a story of resilience and love. We both came to kitty connection as strays at different times. We ended up getting adopted but sadly had to come back to kitty connection due to extenuating circumstances. Although we were sad to lose our home we met each other in that home and fell in love. We are now on our next journey TOGETHER. When I Fawkes first came to Kitty Connection I had a terrible eye injury. I was able to get the treatment I needed and had my eye removed. I recently also had to have several teeth removed which Kitty Connection is helping me with as well. I am happy to have that behind me! I am feeling better and am not afraid to show it! I am a sweet ball of joy, gentle , sweet and loving. I like to snuggle with my best friend Maple and my foster parents. I love my Maple very much and protect her and make her feel at ease. Maple can be anxious at times and I am there to make her feel calm and safe. I, Maple, was born outside. A nice lady came to help me, but was told I wasn’t friendly enough to adjust to living inside. She didn’t want to give up on me and brought me to Kitty Connection. It was hard for me to adjust at first, but I am learning how nice these humans can be. As they have extended their hand to me I am learning to extend my paw back! My foster parents are patient with me, and understand it takes time for me to trust. The key to my heart is play time! I love playing with my foster Dad. The wand toy is my favorite. I love to play with Fawkes and cuddle as well! Play time here we come! Zoomies?? I GOT THAT. Because I am still learning to fully trust humans, it's important for my forever parents to understand I am shy and anxious at times. My best friend Fawkes helps me feel safe, secure, and gives me the confidence to be more brave on this journey that I am on. Hi - My name is Ellie and I’m a sweet and shy 3 year old female tabby. This is my second time with Kitty Connection. My original adopters didn’t feel like I was a good fit anymore so I’m back with Kitty Connection and looking for people who are patient and kind. I start off spicy, but I’m just afraid. Once I settle in, I love being around quiet humans and my foster mom’s quiet cats. I was originally in a home with a male kitty who had a lot of energy and that was too much for me. I love to play, but mostly by myself at night – although sometimes I’ll play with a wand toy with my foster mom. Her cats come in to say hello and then they go about their business which is just fine with me. I like to see them interact with my foster mom as it assures me that she’s a safe person. I think I’d like a home with other quiet and mellow kitties who don’t mind if I do my own thing. I wouldn’t like a home with a lot of people or kids who make a lot of noise and dogs are probably not something I would be comfortable with. Check out some of the videos my foster mom has taken. I tend to be afraid the first few minutes she’s with me and then she offers me a treat and I remember I like her. She’s very patient and tells me I’m pretty.

Meet August & Jaina! These two incredibly adorable cats are both 2 years old and it`s clear as day that they share a very special bond. They can often be found curled up together, with August usually lounging out on top of Jaina. They have grown out of their kitten years and are one of the more calm and relaxed pairs at the shelter. They can be a bit unsure with new people, but give them time and they warm up to you. August is the more social of the two, once he gets to know you he`s eager to approach, calling out to you, bumping his head with yours and kneading biscuits on your shoulders. Jaina is just as lovely, but you will have to earn her trust. She is the more timid of the two but once she sees that you`re friendly, she quietly seeks affection. Meet London! This sweet boy was originally picked up in Lynn, he was adopted out, but life often has challenges and he was returned to us - no fault of his own or the adopter. Shortly after he went home he had dropped weight fast, worried - the adopter had returned him in fear for his health. Later we learned he was diabetic and now with the proper food and insulin dosage he is all set and ready to find his forever home! London is also FIV+, meaning his immune system is weakened, but with regular vet visits and an indoor lifestyle he will have many good years by your side. London is a very loving and friendly cat, not shying away from strangers - often greeting them by calling out and rubbing against their legs.
