Story
Khalesi or her nickname Bear, came from a friend’s litter. She is 9 years old and has been with the family since she was a kitten. She moved once to my mother’s unit within the same building. She is sweet, friendly, very cuddly, not very verbal, and loves to sit on window sills and look out an open screened window. We are looking for a home that is patient. Khalesi has shown signs of being sensitive or anxious by pacing around. She also sometimes doesn’t use her litter box to go number two. So a home that will give her the space, grace, care, and attention to adjust and open up are the priorities.

Story
My name is Luna Tuna and I am a one-year-old lady. I'm a very friendly girl who does well with other cats, but would also be fine as your one and only. I was found on the streets by a nice lady. She couldn't find my owner so she asked Kitty Connection to take me in and help me find my forever home.

🐾💕 Hi, we're Fawkes & Maple, and before we tell you anything else, there's one thing you should know... We're best friends, and we're looking for our forever home together. 🏡❤️ We both started life as strays and came to Kitty Connection at different times. Eventually, we found a home... and that's where we found each other. When unexpected circumstances brought us back to rescue, we lost our home, but thankfully, we didn't lose one another. 💞 🐱 I'm Fawkes, a 5-year-old gray-and-white gentleman with one eye and a heart full of love. I've overcome a lot, including losing an eye and having dental surgery, but those days are behind me now! These days, my favorite things are snuggles, naps, and making sure Maple feels safe and loved. 💙 🐱 And I'm Maple, a 10-month-old tabico girl with a playful spirit and a gentle soul. I was born outside, so learning to trust people has taken time. I can be a little shy at first, but every day I get a little braver. My favorite things? Wand toys, zoomies, and curling up next to Fawkes after a busy day of play! 🎣✨ 💕 Fawkes is my safe place. When I'm nervous, he's right there beside me. He helps me feel brave enough to take the next step and reminds me that I'm never alone. Together, we're the perfect pair: one part cuddle bugs 🥰, one part playtime experts 🎉, and 100% devoted to each other. 💗 We're looking for a quiet, patient home where we can continue our journey together. Maple may need a little time to settle in, but with love, understanding, and Fawkes by her side, she continues to blossom every day. 🌸 💖 We've already found our best friend in each other. 🏡 Now we're hoping to find our forever family. ✨ Could that be you? ✨

Story
Hi, I'm Estrella — a gentle soul with the softest fur you'll ever touch. I'm a quiet, reserved girl who takes her time warming up to new people and places. I won't rush over to greet you at the door, but that's only because I like to observe first and trust at my own pace. Once I feel safe, you'll notice me slowly inching closer, and that moment — when I finally choose you — is something truly special. Here's the thing about me: even though I'm shy, I never hiss or swat. That's just not who I am. If you approach me slowly and gently — no sudden movements, please — you can rub my head, and I'll actually start to relax and purr for you. That quiet rumble is my way of saying, "I trust you." My foster family says it's one of the most rewarding feelings, because you know you really earned it. I'm not the rowdy type. You won't find me zipping across the room or knocking things off shelves. I prefer the simple pleasures: a soft blanket, a calm room, and the peaceful rhythm of a quiet home. My foster family says I have impeccable manners — I use my litter box perfectly and always cover up after myself like the lady I am. And my fur? People can't stop talking about it. I'm incredibly soft — like, bury-your-hand-in-a-cloud soft. If you're lucky enough to earn a petting session with me, you'll understand why everyone makes such a fuss. I may be shy, but I'm also steady, sweet, and low-maintenance. I'll never scratch you, never hiss at you — I just need things to stay calm and gentle around me. I'm looking for a patient adopter who moves softly and appreciates a quiet companion over a wild entertainer. If your idea of a perfect evening is curling up in peace with a warm, impossibly soft cat purring nearby, I just might be your girl.

Story
🧡 Twice Our Hearts Have Been Broken... We're Hoping the Third Home Is Forever. 🧡 Hi! We're Leo and Ginger—a bonded mother-and-son duo looking for the forever home we've been dreaming about. I'm Ginger, a beautiful 3-year-old orange tabby (yes, an all-orange girl—I like to think that makes me extra special!). My son Leo is 2 years old and sports handsome orange-and-white markings. Our story hasn't been an easy one. We first lost our family because the new baby was allergic to us. We thought we'd found our happy ending with another wonderful home... but now, through no fault of our own, we're losing that home too because our person is moving and can't take us along. We've already had to say goodbye twice. We can't bear the thought of losing each other, too. We're incredibly bonded. We wrestle, chase each other through the house, and keep each other company every single day. Our foster mom lovingly calls us "two goofballs" because we're always making her laugh with our silly antics and playful personalities. I'm Leo, and I tend to make friends pretty quickly. I'm a total cuddle bug and love being close to my people. If you're sitting down, there's a good chance I'll be right there beside you. I'm Ginger, and I just need a little extra time when everything is new. Change has been hard on me, but once I feel safe, I'm affectionate, gentle, and happy to relax near the people I love. Together, we're the perfect balance—playful and calm, silly and sweet. We fill a home with laughter, companionship, and twice the love. All we're asking for is one thing... Please let our next home be our last. If you're looking for two wonderful companions who already love each other as much as they'll love you, we promise to fill your home with purrs, cuddles, laughter, and unconditional love. We don't need anything fancy—we just need someone who will choose us... and keep choosing us for the rest of our lives. Could you be the family that finally gives us the forever we've been waiting for? 🧡🐾

Story
Hi - My name is Ellie and I’m a sweet and shy 3 year old female tabby. This is my second time with Kitty Connection. My original adopters didn’t feel like I was a good fit anymore so I’m back with Kitty Connection and looking for people who are patient and kind. I start off spicy, but I’m just afraid. Once I settle in, I love being around quiet humans and my foster mom’s quiet cats. I was originally in a home with a male kitty who had a lot of energy and that was too much for me. I love to play, but mostly by myself at night – although sometimes I’ll play with a wand toy with my foster mom. Her cats come in to say hello and then they go about their business which is just fine with me. I like to see them interact with my foster mom as it assures me that she’s a safe person. I think I’d like a home with other quiet and mellow kitties who don’t mind if I do my own thing. I wouldn’t like a home with a lot of people or kids who make a lot of noise and dogs are probably not something I would be comfortable with. Check out some of the videos my foster mom has taken. I tend to be afraid the first few minutes she’s with me and then she offers me a treat and I remember I like her. She’s very patient and tells me I’m pretty.

These cats are in Gloucester, Massachusetts too!

Story
Meet Mila, a one-year-old cat bursting with energy, curiosity, and charm. She loves toys, interactive games, and anything that gives her the opportunity to pounce, chase, and explore. Whatever she`s doing, Mila approaches it with enthusiasm, confidence, and a sense of adventure. Mila is also incredibly social and truly enjoys being part of her people`s lives. Whether you`re working from home, relaxing on the couch, or simply moving from room to room, she`ll be right there to keep you company. At the end of the day, she`s happiest curled up beside you, purring contentedly as she drifts off to sleep. With her adorable bandit-like facial markings and her unique, expressive voice, Mila has plenty of personality. She`s not shy about letting you know when she wants attention, a snack, or a little extra love! Mila would do best in a home where she is your only feline companion, as she seems to want all the affection to herself and can get annoyed with other kitties in her space. If you`re looking for a cat who is affectionate, confident, entertaining, and full of character, Mila may be the perfect addition to your family. And as an added bonus, she`s a big fan of her scratching post! Story
Meet August & Jaina! These two incredibly adorable cats are both 2 years old and it`s clear as day that they share a very special bond. These two found their way to us from North Carolina, their owner having unfortunately passed on. A lovely foster had taken them into their home in their time of need, before arriving in our care. When they first arrived they were nervous and afraid, hiding on top of each other away from any of the staff. But with time and effort they have slowly come out of their shells. Now they can often be found curled up together, with August usually lounging out on top of Jaina. They have grown out of their kitten years and are one of the more calm and relaxed pairs at the shelter. They can be a bit unsure with new people, but give them time and they can be very affectionate and loving.August is the more social of the two, once he gets to know you he`s eager to approach, calling out to you, bumping his head with yours and kneading biscuits on your shoulders. Jaina is just as lovely, but you will have to earn her trust. She is the more timid of the two but once she sees that you`re friendly, she quietly seeks affection. Pressing her head into your palm, exposing her belly and purring. Have these two cuddle bugs stolen your heart? Adopt today!Jaina & August have joined our extended stay program, meaning their fee has been reduced in hopes to help them find their forever home!Apply for August & Jaina at: capeannanimalaid.org/catapp
