My name is Chestnut and I am a beautiful six year-old green eyed lady. My owner abandoned me and the roommate in the apartment couldn’t keep me and said I had to go on the street if some didn’t come and take me. Everyone said I was lucky to lose my home. It was clearly visible that I was very neglected. I probably was never brushed in my whole life. The mats on my body so thick it took 45 minutes to shave them off me. I’m a really sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl. I love sitting with you and actually do love being brushed. I want to be the only kitty in the home and definitely do not like other cats. I hope my next home will be forever.

Once they trust you, they will come around and sleep in the same bed with you. They get along with the house cat and are getting used to a doggie, who regularly visits the foster home. Shere Khan is named for a feline deity. He is from St. John in the US Virgin Islands, where they have an overpopulation problem. Shere is a snuggly, sweet boy, loving head scratches and engaging in a game of chase the mouse with you. His best feline pal is Li Shu (also named for a feline goddess) and she is just a tad more cautious than he is, but she will climb in your lap when all is quiet and predictable. Some nice staff members here at Cape Ann, took him home to fatten him up and he’s finally ready to find his forever family! Pixie is an absolutely sweetheart, with a touch of spice. He is quite the chatterbox and his endlessly playful demeanor and major kitten energy are sure to keep you entertained and on your toes, but is always followed by a massive cuddle session, where you’ll find him curled right up on your lap. Meet Joela and Joclyn . Their Mama was an outdoor cat who had her kittens in a flower bed. The finder reached out to rescuers in North Carolina to see if they could keep her safe while she raised her kittens. Joela is on the more shyer side, but once you spend some time with her and she becomes comfortable, you`ll this duo is very playful and love attention.
