Story
Chello is this cutie here. He is almost 3 years old. I took him in with me when he was 2 months old from a barn cat mama. He is very sweet, calm, playful, independent and intelligent. He really does listen to you when you talk to him. Lazy a bit. He doesn’t live with other cats but I have brought him around other cats and he’s very friendly with other cats and just wants a friend to play with. Unfortunately due to my circumstances I am not able to continue to provide the quality of life I used to be able to and he deserves it, he is such a well behaved cat and I guarantee anyone who gets him will have no trouble with him but he just loves to be attentive to that’s all.

Story
Hi, I'm Estrella, a gentle soul with the softest fur you'll ever touch. I'm 10 months old and I take my time warming up to new people and places. I won't rush over to greet you at the door, since I like to watch and wait before I trust. But once I decide you're safe, I change completely. It took my foster parents just a few days of consistent playing and gentle petting before I let my guard down, and once I did, I turned into a rambunctious kitten exploring every corner of the house. That spunky side only comes out once I trust you, so a little patience (and a lot of playing) goes a long way. Once I'm comfortable, I'm anything but reserved. I follow my foster parents everywhere and love lying at their feet while they're at their desk, bunting my head up and purring for pets. And when the wand toy comes out, shy Estrella disappears completely, replaced by a cat who's sprinting and leaping and never quite ready to stop. My fur seals the deal. It's bury-your-hand-in-a-cloud soft, and once you get a petting session with me, you'll understand why everyone makes such a fuss. I'm steady, sweet, and low-maintenance. I'll never scratch or hiss, but I do need calm, predictable surroundings and a patient person willing to spend consistent time with me. Once that trust is built, you get more than a soft, purring lap cat. You get a spirited, playful girl who finally feels safe enough to be fully herself. I'd do best as an only cat, with someone who can be home with me more often than not.

Story
Hi - My name is Ellie and I’m a sweet and shy 3 year old female tabby. This is my second time with Kitty Connection. My original adopters didn’t feel like I was a good fit anymore so I’m back with Kitty Connection and looking for people who are patient and kind. I start off spicy, but I’m just afraid. Once I settle in, I love being around quiet humans and my foster mom’s quiet cats. I was originally in a home with a male kitty who had a lot of energy and that was too much for me. I love to play, but mostly by myself at night – although sometimes I’ll play with a wand toy with my foster mom. Her cats come in to say hello and then they go about their business which is just fine with me. I like to see them interact with my foster mom as it assures me that she’s a safe person. I think I’d like a home with other quiet and mellow kitties who don’t mind if I do my own thing. I wouldn’t like a home with a lot of people or kids who make a lot of noise and dogs are probably not something I would be comfortable with. Check out some of the videos my foster mom has taken. I tend to be afraid the first few minutes she’s with me and then she offers me a treat and I remember I like her. She’s very patient and tells me I’m pretty.

PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING We transport kittens from South Florida. There is an epidemic of cat overpopulation in South Florida. Tens of thousands of cats & kittens suffer needlessly & need a home. We transport & adopt kittens & cats that have no chance in South Florida. Please note - we are the only legal Florida rescue importer in the state of Mass. We have 3 professional transporters deliver your kitties safely to you. One person is always in the back monitoring the health & well-being of your animal. Although we love dogs they are NEVER on our transport as it adds time & stress for your kitties. Be sure to ask questions of any rescue transporting. Are they legal & how are they transported. There is a big difference. We also use flight angels. Kind volunteers who bring a cat or kitten on a plane ride as their carry-on luggage. We are so grateful for good people. We try to get the kittens as close as we can by air. TO ADOPT A KITTEN, YOU MUST ADOPT IN PAIRS OR HAVE A YOUNG CAT. Our adoption guidelines: Must be 25 years old Must adopt young kittens (6 months or less) you must have a young cat or dog or adopt in pairs UNLESS otherwise stated. Must be a previous cat owner. Story
Meet Misty! At just over 2 months old, Misty is a sweet, mellow little guy who`s looking for a forever home to call his own. While he can be a bit shy when meeting new people, with a little patience and time to settle in, his gentle personality begins to shine. He`s the kind of kitten who enjoys the quieter side of life and will blossom as his confidence grows. Misty loves the company of his siblings and would likely enjoy having another friendly feline companion in his new home to help show him the ropes and give him a little extra confidence. With a patient family and a kitty friend by his side, he`s sure to come out of his shell and become a wonderful companion. Misty is considered a special needs adoption because he is cryptorchid, meaning one or both of his testicles have not descended from the abdomen. Because of this, he is being adopted before his neuter surgery can be completed. When Misty reaches 6 months of age, his adopter must have him neutered. This procedure can be performed at Cape Ann Animal Aid`s in-house veterinary clinic, and our veterinary team will contact the adoptive family when it`s time to schedule the surgery. Cape Ann Animal Aid will cover the cost of the neuter procedure and associated pain medications when performed at our clinic. Any additional veterinary care outside of the neuter surgery will be the adopter`s responsibility. If you`re looking for a gentle, adorable kitten who just needs a little time to feel at home, Misty is ready to steal your heart.Apply today at: capeannanimalaid.org/catapp
