Our foster mom is being nice to us, and I adjusted to her home within a few days, although I haven't quite gotten used to the other cats just yet. She says I'm an affectionate purring machine. The people who rescued me seemed to think I have a little bit of Maine coon in me. I really like being brushed and combed, which is good because I'm a medium haired cat and we medium-haired girls really need that, and I will purr warmly in response. I have an adorable tiny kittenish meow. I wouldn't do well being left unaccompanied for long hours, and I should be adopted into a home where I'll get lots of playtime and attention, but then so should most other cats. Tiger is a lovely cat. She used to live with a chihuahua for 12+ years. She’s always been an outdoor and indoor cat. She lives a quiet life now living alone with only 1 lady who is relocating and unfortunately cannot take Tiger with her.

He’s a neutered male up to date on vaccines. Although he is currently a solo cat, he has previously lived with another cat. Here’s what his foster volunteers say about him:   1. How would you describe the cat's general personality?             Puck is a quiet, curious, cool and playful little "hunter" and will become more and more social and people-oriented over time. He loves chasing toys, jumping, watching the outdoors, and observing everything around him. He enjoys being part of whatever is going on and likes to grab all your attention. But he is cool, and still prefers companionship on his own terms and does not always want to be touched.   2. Does the cat enjoy being pet?             Yes. Puck barely come over and ask for pets, but if you gently reach out and some time, he will let you pet his head. However, noticed that he is not in the mood all the time. Have to be very careful otherwise he will hit or bite you.             If yes, on what parts of its body does the cat like to be pet? Puck likes being petted on his head the most, especially around the top of his head and chin. This is where he is the most comfortable and relaxed.             Are there any parts of its body that the cat does NOT like being touched? Definitely NOT his rump.   3. Does the cat come on your lap? No.   4. Does the cat like to be held? We have never tried this before. It would be a great challenge to catch him. He currently prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and interact with people without being restrained.   5. Does the cat sleep in your bed? Sometimes, but only for a while. Puck usually sleep under the bed during daytime.   6. Does the cat seek your attention?  Yes. Puck loves to grab all the attention. He will sit or lie on the desk while we are studying or working, stare at us, get on the keyboard or textbooks. He also meows, scratches chairs and wall when he wants to play. 7. Does the cat like to play? YES.             What are the cat's favorite games and toys? He especially enjoys wand toys, toys with fur, and anything with feathers. He loves chasing moving toys and will sometimes bat or kick them away just so he can chase after them again. Interactive toys that let him stalk, chase, and pounce are always his favorites.   8. How vocal is the cat? What kinds of sounds does the cat make?             Puck barely "meow"s. He will occasionally meow when he wants attention.             9. Does the cat scratch a scratcher? If no, please explain.             . Yes, but he also really enjoys scratching a variety of other surfaces. He likes scratching the mattress, blankets, chairs, the sofa, cardboard boxes, and sometimes even the wall. 10. Does the cat always use the litter box? If no, please explain.             Yes.   11. What food and frequency is the cat currently eating?             We give him unlimited dry food of a mix of Wellness and Instinct, a 3oz wet food can each day, and three piece of Greenies Dental Treats and Instinct Mixers. Even though it is unlimited, I think he only eats about 100g dry food each day.             Is the cat picky about food?             He is not a picky cat. He will eat a variety of foods, and we have found that salmon is definitely his favorite. He especially enjoys salmon-flavored can or treats.             What is the cat's favorite treat?             He likes all kinds of lickable cat treat, and he likes Greenies as well. Salmon flavor the best!   12. What medication is the cat on, and how is it administered?             N/A. 13. Does the cat ever swat (claws in) at you? If so, under what circumstances?             3 times. When we tried to pet him.             Has the cat ever scratched (claws out) you?             Once. When I tried to use a brush to brush him.             Does the cat ever nip (teeth without breaking skin) you?             Once. When I tried to pet his rump.             Has the cat ever bitten you (breaking skin)?             No.   14. To the best of your knowledge, how does the cat react to new people? Social? Fearful?             Puck is still a little shy around new people. He will usually hide when someone unfamiliar comes, but now he adjusts much more quickly.   15. If you have observed the cat with other animals, please describe how they get on?             Puck never had a chance directly interact with other animals. However, he did once frighten by a large dog when he was viewing outside through the window. The dog was simply walking down the street, but Puck immediately hissed, jumped away from the window, and hid under the bed. This was one of the most frightened reactions we have ever seen from him.   16. Does that cat have any cute/quirky traits that aren’t covered by the previous questions?             Puck loves viewing the outside. He can spend a long time sitting by the window watching everything going on outdoors, especially at night. If the curtain is closed, he will even scratch at it to let you know that he wants it opened again. 17. In your opinion, what is the best thing about the cat? Why should an adopter choose THIS cat to adopt?             The best thing about Puck is that very rewarding to get to know. He tends to be quiet and independent, but he still likes to be around his people, and it feels really surprise when he chooses to stay nearby you. Watching him slowly open up and choose to spend more and more time around people has been really special.             He would be a great match for someone who appreciates a calm, playful, observant cat who can provide companionship without being overly demanding. He may not be a traditional lap cat, but he has his own quiet way of being affectionate and making himself part of your daily life.   18. What are the cat's challenges and how have you found to best manage them?             The biggest challenge is scratching. He will scratch on chairs, the sofa, and sometimes even the wall. We are still working on finding the best long-term way to manage this behavior. For now, we interrupt and redirect him when he starts scratching something he should not.             Puck also has very clear boundaries when it comes to physical affection. He generally does not like having his body touched and may swat if someone ignores his signals. Milo is 8 years old and full of energy. He's used to one owner and a quiet house during the day. He's perfect for someone that lives alone and wants a snuggle muffin for company. He will sit next to you all day and loves it if you scratch him. He's easy to take care of! He's always been an indoor cat and never been outside. He's used to an automatic cat feeder and waterer. He likes to open feed as well for a treat. He's very healthy and well taken care of. I am moving to a condo where cats are not optimal. Milo needs a loving new home!

Kiyoko is a pandemic cat, so she’s very people-oriented and loves attention. She’s extremely affectionate once she bonds with you, but like most cats, she comes on her own time and needs her space respected at first. She can be anxious around other animals, vets, and new people, especially if they move too fast or invade her space, but she is genuinely very sweet and loving once she feels safe. She just needs a patient and calm environment to open up. She was my emotional support animal in college, and even my roommates, who she didn’t like at first, eventually fell in love with her. It was definitely an enemies to lovers situation. She loves watching projectors, sleeping by your feet, and sitting with you while you get ready in the morning. Due to ongoing allergies and some health issues, I’m no longer able to care for her the way she deserves, so I’m looking for a safe, loving home where she can feel comfortable and cared for.

Fish is a very sweet kitty who is looking for a loving, spacious home. At five years old, he is full of energy and loves to cuddle. He has spent nearly his whole life living with another cat, so he has experience with other animals; he is always super friendly towards anyone that he meets. Our main reason for rehoming is that he needs space to play. After moving into a small apartment, he has been very restless and stressed. An ideal adopter would have at least two bedrooms or (in the best case scenario) stairs, so that he can get his energy out and find new places to explore. Additionally, Fish is prone to allergies, so he may require some extra care when he has sneezing flare-ups. Other than that, he is the most affectionate cat you could ask for.
