Lilac is friendly, outgoing, and a confident girl! She is very sweet, easy-going and enjoys a good belly rub . Lilac had a little make over when she arrived in foster . She needed a couple matts shaved . Her fur is growing in and she is awaiting her forever home . Lilac is a cat with warmth . Great first time owner cat! Lilac would do well on her own or with one other feline. Lilac is estimated at 3 years old and fully vetted..

Story
Hi! We’re Oreo and Reese, two 5½-year-old sisters who have been together our whole lives. We came all the way from the British Virgin Islands about five years ago and were adopted together. Now, through no fault of our own, our family is moving to an apartment that doesn’t allow cats, so we need a new home. And there’s one thing we know for sure: we want to stay together. We may be sisters, but you definitely won’t have trouble telling us apart — either by our looks or our personalities! 🐾 I’m Oreo, the black-and-white girl. I’m the more outgoing, affectionate sister and a serious snuggler once I know you. I love laps, have a wonderfully loud purr, and enjoy being wherever my people are. I’m playful and curious, too — toy mice are my favorite, and sometimes I’ll even ask my people to follow me around while I investigate things! I love affection, especially chin rubs, and I’m very good at letting you know when I’m ready for some love. I can be shy with strangers at first, but once I decide you’re one of my people, you’ll get to see my sweet, social, snuggly side. 🐾 And I’m Reese, the pretty striped girl. I’m the quieter, more independent sister. I’m sweet, curious, observant, and I like to take a little more time before deciding someone has earned my trust. But once I’m comfortable, my personality starts to shine. I especially love kneading on my favorite blanket — preferably when it’s draped over my person’s legs on the couch. It’s one of my favorite cozy routines! I also enjoy playing with corks and ping-pong balls and keeping a close eye on everything happening around me. Together, we enjoy the finer things in life: cat trees, scratching posts, windowsills, sunny spots, toys, cozy blankets, good food, naps, and being near our people. We can both be shy and skittish when we first meet someone, so we’re looking for people who understand that the best relationships sometimes take a little time. Give us patience and the chance to feel safe, and we’ll show you just how special we are. We’ve never lived with other pets, and with such a big transition ahead of us, we’d be happiest in a home without other animals. We’re good with adults; Oreo is comfortable with adults, while Reese hasn’t lived with children, so a calm household would be a great fit for us. We’re both spayed, microchipped, litter-box trained, and in good health. Most importantly, we’re a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. We’ve had each other through every chapter of our lives — from the British Virgin Islands to our first home and now through this unexpected change. We’d really like the next chapter to be the one where we find our forever family. I’m Oreo — the black-and-white, snuggly, social explorer. And I’m Reese — the striped, independent, observant sweetheart. Two sisters. Two very different personalities. One forever home. Could you be the person who gives us the happy ending we deserve? (Adoption fee is for both)

Story
Hi - My name is Ellie and I’m a sweet and shy 3 year old female tabby. This is my second time with Kitty Connection. My original adopters didn’t feel like I was a good fit anymore so I’m back with Kitty Connection and looking for people who are patient and kind. I start off spicy, but I’m just afraid. Once I settle in, I love being around quiet humans and my foster mom’s quiet cats. I was originally in a home with a male kitty who had a lot of energy and that was too much for me. I love to play, but mostly by myself at night – although sometimes I’ll play with a wand toy with my foster mom. Her cats come in to say hello and then they go about their business which is just fine with me. I like to see them interact with my foster mom as it assures me that she’s a safe person. I think I’d like a home with other quiet and mellow kitties who don’t mind if I do my own thing. I wouldn’t like a home with a lot of people or kids who make a lot of noise and dogs are probably not something I would be comfortable with. Check out some of the videos my foster mom has taken. I tend to be afraid the first few minutes she’s with me and then she offers me a treat and I remember I like her. She’s very patient and tells me I’m pretty.

Story
I rescued Zoe 4 years ago when she had nust turned one. She is a wonderful companion, loves to cuddle in my lap and sleep with me. She does well in a calm setting but gets nervous around people who are fearful or not comfortable with cats. She will try to scratch when she is afraid. The only reason I am looking for a new home for Zoe is because my medical issues. I recently had knee replacement surgery and developed an infection.i would love for her to go to a nice home.

Story
Bernard came to us from a complicated 17 cat neglect situation, and immediately decided that he loves human companionship. He’s picky about how he wants to be pet, and will gently tell you if you’re doing it “incorrectly,” and because of this we think a home with no young kids is best. His perfect day consists of following you around with big rumbly purrs, and sitting next to you wherever you settle in.   And that cute floppy ear? He has a previous history of ear infections, so he likely has this signature flop forever. He might be prone to ear infections in the future, but he’s been happily in the clear for a while now! Bernard is okay with other cats, but will give you the saddest face in the world if you’re petting someone more than him, and we think he’d be his Best Self as a solo guy.   Every PALS cat and kitten has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is up-to-date on vaccinations. A note about kittens: if you are adopting a kitten, they may need to complete their FVRCP (distemper) series and may not be old enough for their rabies vaccination. These essential vaccines will be the responsibility of their new owner. Detailed vet records and a calendar of vaccination due dates will be provided. The PALS Adoption Center, located inside PetSmart at 10 Traders Way in Salem, MA (just off Highland Ave/Rte 107) BY APPOINTMENT ONLY TO APPROVED ADOPTERS.  Adoption applications can be found online at www.palscats.org.  A completed application is not necessarily an approved application. We do ask for written landlord approval if you rent, or proof of home ownership (water bill, etc.) We will also check your vet references.  You will be contacted by our adoption staff once your application has been approved.  Please note it can take up to 48 hours. Our online sites are updated regularly, but we can not guarantee that a cat you see here is still available. Please email if you have any questions regarding the adoption process or our available cats and kittens. PALS is an all-volunteer, no-kill rescue group. Each and every cat and kitten has been rescued locally. September 1, 2026, 8:42 pm

Story
During Mia`s time at the shelter, she has started to warm up to people and we are starting to see her real personality. While not a social butterfly by any means, she does enjoy lounging in the window and having snacks with her friends. Mia will need a home where she can start off as an only cat and have some time to decompress and warm up to her new surroundings. She is a 2 year old cat, and has a discordant case of FeLV, or Feline Leukemia Virus. This means she has tested positive, but should be retested in her new home. Interested adopters should click the inquire button below to learn more and shelter staff will provide additional counseling on FeLV and answer any questions at the time of adoption.Mia is hanging out in an office, if you are interested in learning more about her please ask a staff member! More info on FeLV can be found here: https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951934
