Story
Layla is a very sweet, energetic, playful three-year-old. She was bottle fed as a kitten, mother passed the day after she had her litter. Layla has been with other cats in the past and gotten along with them well. We have had her for six months. She has not been around another cat during that time. We have a dog, but she does not mingle with the dog. When we took Layla in, her owners were going to surrender her because she had stomach issues. That has been completely corrected by giving her Science Diet Sensitive Stomach. She is a happy and healthy kitty. She loves to play and is also very independent. Layla is very chatty and loves to chirp. She would do amazing in a single cat home without a doubt. We will send all of her food, toys, her feeding system and litter box with her to her new home. We want her to be in a place where she has room to run inside and is happy. She will have to be strictly indoors as her previous owners had her declawed.

Story
Queenie came to us as a very small kitten last fall. She has been the sweetest and most loving cat. She is well behaved. Will come and sit on your lap and purr. She took to the litter box with no problem. She has been spayed and declawed just recently (about a month ago). Now she will not use the litter box. We are not sure why. We have tried a different litter and even a new litter box with no luck. We are just hoping that maybe a new environment will help her and she will be back to her self.

Story
I found Tigger before his ears popped out at just a couple weeks old, in May of 2025. He was screaming and wiggling in the middle of a KFC parking lot. The next day he was seen by a vet, who showed me how to bottle feed him. He was bottle fed for a month and a half around the clock. Raised with so much love, he deserves to go to a good home and by no means would he survive in the wild now that he's been such a spoiled bottle baby. He's a very affectionate cat once he warms up to you. I just enlisted in the Navy, I'll miss him very much but I know this is what's best for him. As I've been looking into foster homes for my dog so that she can travel overseas and around the world with me, without it being as stressful as it would be for a cat. Thank you for your time

Story
Sweet Jackson climbs into his foster's lap for snuggles, happily dashes all over the house like a fuzzy maniac, then rolls around on the carpet in the hallway, eyes half closed with a happy grin on his face! His foster says he's totally talkative too, getting their attention and chatting with them in his cute, high-pitched mew.... It's so cute, they sometimes call him squeaky! Our vet estimates Jackson to be just over a year old. Included with the adoption is his neuter, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!

Fergus is not a cuddly cat, he loves to eat ice cream if you share. He’s so sweet but loves from a distance. I can tell he’s not happy in a home with a kid here, he would make a great friend for an adult looking for a companion! Fergus is about 4 years old and he still loves to play with string and fake mice. Please fill out an application to take home this sweet boy!
