Story
Flash is a 1 1/2 year old female, spayed, up to date on all shots, gets monthly topical flea treatment. Her mother was adopted out by Portland OHS last year. They would not take Flash, she hadn't been spayed yet and was still more feral than tame. We had Salem OHS spay her, she has calmed way down. She loves lots of attention, when I go out to feed her she tries to come in the house but I can't let her in because of our other 4 cats. We live in a senior mobile home park that doesn't allow outside loose animals. Our cats are bothered by Flash hanging around under the windows, on our cars, she gets on the fence and the roof. She wants to be friends with the cats but ours don't like it. She is very sweet, does get a little overstimulated when we're petting here and hanging out with her, she will try to reach out to say "don't go away, stay and pet me". She still has some feral in her, is comfortable around us but runs when others come by. She needs a place before cold weather comes.

She has experienced some big life changes recently and is now looking for a forever home where she can bond and trust a family again.I am:• Fun, playful, and affectionate• A fan of making biscuits and sweet meows• Experienced living with other cats• Strictly an indoor-only cat• Spayed, microchipped, and litter box trainedI’m currently not a fan of being picked up, but I love rubbing on your legs and being petted. Texas loves to be outside, so it is important the home she goes to allows her that freedom. In fact, we do not need a litter box for her. She is very vocal. She likes to socialize and talk with neighbors. She gets along with dogs better than other cats. She tolerates other cats. She is great with kids. She was a rescue cat, so I'm not sure how old she actually is. I think about 8.

Acorn was adopted as a kitten from a friend nearly 2 months old. She likes napping under safe spots, will play with string toys and purrs so much when brushed! She likes getting chin and neck scratches and lightly on her butt. She has a very mellow personality, likes laying on your lap getting pets and scratches. She needs a calm home where other animals don't mess with her or are too rough, so no dogs and preferably no cats. Unless they are very calm as well. I don't recommend kids as she is a bit delicate with her back legs. But she is very sweet and has a unique high-pitched purr!She is 6 years old and has arthritis in her hips, so she walks a bit stiffly but can jump up on short tables and couches just fine. She only eats wet food as she doesn't like to eat dry as often. She does need a bowl lifted up off the ground a little so she can eat. She struggles to eat when it's low to the floor due to her back legs.Please give her a loving home, she is a very good girl.

Buster is approximately 13 years old and is very friendly to people and loves to get attention and affection. He’s a lap kitty and occasional bedtime snuggler. He has been with me for over eleven years. We are making the difficult decision to rehome him because 1) he doesn’t get along with our other senior cat and the aggression is getting worse every day and 2) we just had our second child and are simply outgrowing our home.We really need to find someone who will love him in his final years and give him the care and attention he wants and deserves. I wish that could still be us.

I’ve known Skurdy since she was a kitten. She grew up in a house with three dogs, but avoided them. She is a sweet/silly cat. Once comfortable, she:• Does zoomies• Loves cuddles & “cat stacking”• Drools from being pet• Plays FETCH with crinkle balls (I have a video!)She comes with toys, extra crinkle balls (they tend to disappear), food dish, water dispenser, litter box/litter, carrier, and random cat products.Skurdy is very gentle but becomes stressed around energetic younger children (like my 2-yr-old) and hides. After trying to bring her out since the baby was born, I believe she would do better in a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe enough to play and relax again.Best fit:• Calm home w/older kids (8years+)• Patient adopter willing to let her warm up slowlyMy goal is simply to find her a peaceful home where she can be happy again, the poor thing. 💔Fee will be waived for the right home. Willing to travel up to one hour for rehoming, but decision must be finalized first.
