Story
Frankie is a charmer! Only 5 years old and 16 lbs of muscle! Frankie is an affectionate love-bug and he will adore you! He is extremely affectionate, loves to be picked up and held like a baby. He will fall asleep in your lap and will probably want to be your bed partner! He loves kisses and belly rubs and is great with the litter box. He is neutered, vaccinated, FELV negative, ears cleaned, no fleas, was dewormed, and also microchipped. Because Frankie loves a good deal of attention, we feel he should be the only cat in the home. He seems to be nervous around other cats as he must have been tormented by other cats when he was abandoned. If you would like to learn more about this super handsome guy, please call 908-453-0082 Communities Altering The Strays (CATS) You can also watch his video on our Facebook page.

Story
💗Bud came to my house one day and let me pet him right away. He stays on my deck all day, every day. He tries to get in the house but I can't let him in because my two resident cats are too aggressive. He is very sweet and friendly. I took Bud to the vet and he is very healthy. The vet agreed the cohabitation of him with my 2 cats would put them at a high risk of contracting FIV. The vet is also the vet for my 2 cats and is aware of their personalities. Bud is in need of immediate adoption. He needs to be an indoor cat and get all of the love and attention he deserves. Please, Please adopt Bud.

Story
Meet "Queen" Josephine! She's looking for a home where she can be your one and only feline companion. Josephine is 8 years old and when her hooman passed away, we took her in so that she wouldn't go to a shelter. Josephine LOVES people! She loves attention, pets, scratches, being brushed, cozy blankets to curl up on, or a good lap to sit in. She will reward you with crazy loud purring! Josephine also loves pom pom toys, mouse toys, scratching boards/posts, crunchy Temptations treats, Fancy Feast wet food (fish & shrimp feast is her fave!), and any kind of dry food. Did we mention she's a voluptuous 14 pounds? She's a little self conscious, so she doesn't like to be picked up! Unfortunately, Josephine does NOT like other cats. Our 2 resident furriends have not been happy since Josephine arrived, and Josephine has made her dislike of them well known! She needs a home where she is an only cat, and we recommend older kids only (we don't know her experience with babies/little children).

Story
Mac**. I’ve had him for about eight months after coming across a post on Facebook from someone who needed help with a stray they had trapped. I agreed to take him in, and when I brought him to be neutered, I learned he was already fixed but did not have an ear tip. Unfortunately, the person who originally contacted me never followed up. Mac turned out to be far too friendly to return outdoors — he is definitely not feral. He’s a very loving boy, though on his own terms, and has a strong, dominant personality. Sadly, my own cats do not get along with him. One of them is very afraid of him, while the others tend to bully him. Because of this, Mac spends much of his time hiding, and I know he deserves a better quality of life. I truly believe he was once an indoor-outdoor cat who was either abandoned or left behind. I am also in the process of possibly relocating to Florida and will not be able to take him with me. I would be **forever grateful** if your rescue could help Mac find a s

Story
Meet Gertie, a charming former stray mama who was lovingly looked after by a kind Samaritan before coming to the shelter with her babies to begin their journey toward forever homes. Now that her kittens are safe and growing, Gertie is focusing on herself—and she’s not shy about sharing her thoughts! This sweet, spirited girl is still getting used to indoor living, and she’ll happily chatter away to let you know exactly how she feels about the whole situation. With a little patience and plenty of love, Gertie is sure to settle in and become a delightful, talkative companion ready to brighten your days with her big personality. Story
Rhea is a graceful young lady, around 1 year old, who came to us alongside her friends Uso and Ortan. Like them, Rhea’s early life likely involved fending for herself, which has made her a bit cautious around people, but there's something incredibly endearing about her quiet, watchful nature. She tends to hang back and take everything in before deciding it's safe to engage. Rhea isn’t one to seek out attention right away, but with calm voices, gentle movements, and a consistent routine, she’s beginning to show signs of trust. Rhea would do best in a peaceful home with patient humans and older children who understand the value of going slow. Another friendly, well-adjusted cat could be just the companion she needs to help her continue to grow and feel more secure. If you believe that love is earned through patience and quiet connection, Rhea could be the perfect feline for your heart and home. If adoption isn’t in the cards right now, you can still make a difference by clicking the donate button below Rhea’s profile. It would be pawsitively amazing!
