Story
I got Kira from a friend in Burlington, VT in 2016. She was a kitten at the time. I raised her. She's kind, low-maintenance and easy to get along with. She gravitates toward the people she loves but is tolerant toward everyone. The reason I'm looking for a new home for her is because of severe allergies. She would do best in a home where head scratches are plentiful and the vibes are positive.

Story
Snuggles, (aka Wittle, because she was so little when we rescued her), also known as Baby Girl (which she loves), came to us while nursing kittens. At the time she was only approx, 7 months old. She found shelter in a fox or groundhog den in the ground under boulders in the woods and would go there after eating. When she finally let us trap her, she was finishing nursing kittens according to the vet, and it became apparent that the kittens drowned during the torrential rainstorms here in New Jersey in July, 2023. We had her spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FELV/FIV, dewormed, she did not have ear mites or fleas, and she is microchipped. Snuggles LOVES to be cuddled in her cat bed and kissed all over and even gives us her belly! She is cross-eyed and does not seem to jump high, but otherwise does not seem to have any visual impairments. She loves the laser light, and for us to dangle ropes and make them move on the ground like they are snakes. Snuggles is elusive but when she gets to know you, she just wants to sit on your lap and snuggle. She currently lives most of the day in her cage because she does not like other cats, therefore she should be the only cat in the home. She comes up to you for petting and fusses when you pick her up but then settles quickly. She is a quiet, calm cat who loves to search for mice and is extremely gentle. Snuggles would be a great kitty to snuggle in a bed with a person and would be a good kitty for someone who works from home or is home most of the day. She is gentle and would be fine with a responsible child but we must give her time to get used to being held. If you are interested in Snuggles, please contact Communities Altering The Strays (CATS), 908-453-0082. Thank you!

Frankie is a charmer! Only 5 years old and an affectionate love-bug. He is extremely affectionate, seems to like cats, and likes to sit in your lap. He loves kisses and belly rubs and is great with the litter box. He is neutered, vaccinated, FELV negative, ears cleaned, no fleas, was dewormed, and also microchipped. Story
Smudge and Stan were rescued last fall with their mother and 3 other brothers. All have found a home except for these two boys and they've developed a closeness being the last ones of their family left waiting for a home of their own. However long they wait, we know this pair will bring a lot of joy to the family lucky enough to adopt them! Smudge is a white short hair with a gray smudge of fur down the back of his head. Stan is a gray tabby. Of the pair, he's the confidant brother. He will explore things first, while Stan will wait until he knows Smudge thinks it's all safe. Despite Stan being shyer, once he knows all is well, he is a sweet boy like his brother Smudge. He just needs a little more patience at first and to give Smudge the opportunity to check out new people and surroundings first. Both boys are super playful and have lots of energy for chasing all kinds of toys around their foster home and tussling with each other. Both would do well in a home with other cats or as the only pair. Smudge and Stan are 5 months old (as of 1/2025), neutered, up to date with yearly vaccinations and negative for Feline Leukemia & FIV. To meet the brothers Smudge and Stan, please send an email to Lori at apcatrescue@gmail.com.

Story
Milo is a good cat. Playful. He doesn’t cuddle with us but does chill on the couch with us. He was born in May 2020. Neutered. Up to date on his shots. He’s an indoor/ outdoor cat that always comes home. But he’s peeing on everything now-never used to ever! Pretty sure our toddler is stressing him out. He’s peeing on my son’s toys which is not okay.
