Story
Meet "Queen" Josephine! She's looking for a home where she can be your one and only feline companion. Josephine is 8 years old and when her hooman passed away, we took her in so that she wouldn't go to a shelter. Josephine LOVES people! She loves attention, pets, scratches, being brushed, cozy blankets to curl up on, or a good lap to sit in. She will reward you with crazy loud purring! Josephine also loves pom pom toys, mouse toys, scratching boards/posts, crunchy Temptations treats, Fancy Feast wet food (fish & shrimp feast is her fave!), and any kind of dry food. Did we mention she's a voluptuous 14 pounds? She's a little self conscious, so she doesn't like to be picked up! Unfortunately, Josephine does NOT like other cats. Our 2 resident furriends have not been happy since Josephine arrived, and Josephine has made her dislike of them well known! She needs a home where she is an only cat, and we recommend older kids only (we don't know her experience with babies/little children).

Story
My 10 year old daughter found Bobby in our neighborhood. Neighbors said he’d been there for awhile with people likely feeding him outside. He was sweet and so we decided to adopt him. Got his health up to date and unfortunately the other two cats we have don’t seem to be accepting him. This has led to a small fight between two of them and the decision to move on and find him a good home elsewhere. He is a good cat, friendly although not overly so but it is noteworthy that he has lived outside for about 4 years and is still adjusting to being inside. It may be better for the adopter to have some experience with cats.

Honey was adopted from a shelter in Lancaster PA 2 years ago. She is 4 years old. I am allergic to cats and sadly can not keep Honey any longer. Honey is very playful and loving. She has high energy and loves to play, especially with lasers. She loves to cuddle and get lots of attention and pets.

Story
I adopted digits from an adoption center in 2010 she was a stray in the streets of New York and was a very shy cat that liked to hide most of the day. Now she loves people and all the attention. She purs just when you call her name, she is the sweetest cat ever. Still enjoys her personal space but will also sleep in the bed with you or in her own little corner. She truly has her own personality and it’s the best.

Story
I promised to care for my dad's cat, Lucy, following his death earlier this year. I have tried, but after my second bout of pneumonia due to kitty-induced asthma exacerbations, I realize that I cannot keep Lucy in my home long term. Lucy is skittish and takes a minute to warm up, but once she knows you are her person, she will love you unconditionally. She could probably live with another calm animal that won't chase or torment her. She showed friendly interest in our dog, but the sentiment was not returned (don't worry, we keep them separated). I am looking for a loving home to add this pretty kitty to their family. Lucy is a 9 year old gray tabby, spayed, vaccinated, claws intact. Despite all her upheaval with losing my dad, she has never had a potty accident and has been a perfect house guest. Please consider providing this kitty a loving home.

Story
Gray was adopted in 2020. We were told she was a kitten, but later a vet said she was likely 1-2 years old. She's been a great family cat for us, but circumstances require us to find her a new home. She's VERY friendly. She loves cuddling up on laps, sleeping next to her humans, and being around in general. She purrs really loud when she's around humans, doesn't mind being held, generally a great personality. The ONLY downside for Gray, is she has something called "pillow paw syndrome". It causes the pads on her feet to be a bit sensitive, a little enlarged and dry. We haven't treated it with any medication, and it has stayed about the same since it was diagnosed a few years ago. She's great with kids, has always been great with our other cats, and great with new humans. She tolerates her dog brothers, but doesn't really appreciate when they get in her face. Gray would do GREAT in a home with very attentive humans who want pretty consistent companionship.
