*BUCKY`S ADOPTION FEE IS FULLY SPONSORED*Hello, my name is: BuckyDOB: 3/5/2016Sex/Breed: Neutered male Treeing Walker CoonhoundWeight: 55 lbsRescued From: Found strayMeet Bucky, a handsome hound with a story to tell. Bucky was found stray with several shotgun pellets causing painful wounds that needed medical attention. After getting the care he needed at a shelter, Bucky waited patiently for a family to fall in love with him - but that family never came. We`re so glad we were able to offer him a safe exit and a loving foster home where he can get the love and attention he deserves. Bucky is a total sweetheart that is thankful for any kindness he`s offered. He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys romping in the yard with his canine pals. He’ll need a home without cats. Bucky has done well with every human he`s met, saying hello with lots of happy tail wags and smiles. Despite being failed by humans in the past, Bucky doesn’t hold a grudge. If you have pets to offer, he will accept every single one. He even loves to be brushed! For being 9, he has bounds of energy and loves to explore on leash and say hello to new friends. Please help show this special boy how great a dog`s life can be by offering him a forever home! All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
Zu was rescued as a puppy from NC, then adopted at 8 weeks old from a PA shelter and has been such an adventerous pup! She has calmed down significantly since she is now 2 years old, but Zu is still full of energy and absolutely loves being outside. She is definitely led by her nose and loves going on walks with frequent sniff stops. I think she would do best in a home with someone who can give her the outside time that she needs and a home without other pets. She LOVES other dogs, but is a bit selective after having an encounter where a dog bit her last year. She still plays well with other dogs but does not do well when toys are involved. Zu has not met any cats or been around children since being less than a year old. She has shown anxious behaviors - she hates bicycles for some reason (will howl and avoid them) and takes a few minutes to warm up to a new environment and new people; she can be a bit skittish at first. I'm looking to rehome due to changes in my schedule/work.

Story
Current Location: Bristow. VA Meet Trixie - The Sweet and Affectionate Treeing Walker Coonhound! < Hello! My name is Trixie! I have an endearing personality and antics that will make you smile. I love new people and want to be everyone's friend. Personality: I love playing with other dogs and I consider everyone-human and canine-my friend. Play dates and trips to the dog park are the best! It is hard for me to contain my excitement and I jump up for greetings. I have so much love to share. I’m not a big barker but I will join in with my foster brother or bark to let you know i need something. I sleep quietly in my crate at night after a full day. Skills and Training: I am perfectly house trained and am getting the leash thing down pretty good by following simple commands and getting treats. Companionship: If you’re looking for a sweet and affectionate companion, I’m the one for you! I’ll bring warmth, joy, and loyalty to your home. I do best with siblings to keep me active, or with active adopters. Energy Level: I have a good amount of energy and need plenty of physical and mental exercise to stay happy and healthy. I love treats and will sit and shake for some! I’m still learning to be my best, so I need someone who is patient and willing to help me continue to grow and learn.

Story
Lady is being fostered in TX. HI! I am delighted that you are interested in knowing more about me! I am about 3 months old*. My absolute passions are EAT, MOVE and Cuddle! In fact, among my many super pawers is my super sense of smell, so I became highly excited when smelling delicious foods around me! My foster mamma and I are working hard to learn how to harness this super power! My second super power is my high level of energy and my strong curiosity, I guess that makes three super powers, isn’ it? If you don’t give me a job to do, I will find it on my own! So it is very important for me that you become my guiding light. Yet, I also want you to be soft and cuddle with me in quiet times, since I actively look for bonding, reassurance, and safety. I am good with kiddos, but I will prefer kiddos 6+ since I - for now - get excited and might scratch them by accident. Also, I highly benefit from tolerant and playful siblings who can help me balance when the puppyhood zoomies come! Did I tell you that I am already potty trained? YUP!!! I am proudly potty trained. Regarding my eyes, I have Microphthalmia which “is a congenital condition where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small” on my right eye. My foster momma is seeing a little cloudiness on my left eye*, so I am going to visit an eye specialist in mid August. However, I have not presented any issue navigating the house, jumping the stairs, or avoiding any obstacles in the backyard. I am sure my foster momma will update any relevant info after our appointment. Are you ready to love me? * By the time of this writing on July 2nd. Story
Dolly was found as a stray in West Virginia before she completed a dog prison training program in Pennsylvania. She is very laid back — calm, gentle, and quiet. She is approximately 3 years old and has mastered basic obedience commands. She walks great on a leash and is friendly to every person and dog she meets. She is house-trained and crate-trained but can be left loose in the house when she’s alone. Unfortunately, I was forced to return to the office shortly after getting Dolly, and she really prefers to be with her person. A good home is a must.
