Honey is a beautiful Weimaraner mix, about one year old, with a playful spirit and lots of energy to share. She’s an active, fun-loving pup who would thrive with an experienced adopter ready to keep her busy and engaged through daily exercise and enrichment. Honey is housetrained and crate trained, and she already knows sit, stay, and shake. Like many young, energetic dogs, she’s still working on her manners and will benefit from continued, consistent training and structure. She tends to do best with calmer canine companions and may be a little nervous at first, but with slow introductions and patience, she settles in well. To help Honey and her future family start off strong, she comes with a special bonus: three professional training sessions generously sponsored by Subaru, designed to support her ongoing training needs and help ensure a smooth, confident transition home. If you’re looking for an affectionate, playful, and loyal companion who’s always up for fun, Honey just might be your perfect match! Honey currently weighs about 38 lbs., is approximately 1 year old (est. birth date 11/16/2024), and her adoption fee is $315. Honey has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Meet Mo! Mo is a 9-10 month old WeimarDoodle. Never heard of them?Neither had we! His mom was a gorgeous purebred Weimaraner and dad is a purebred Standard Poodle. Mo has already exceeded both of his parents in size, so there's no telling how big this boy will end up but we can safely tell you that he will definitely fall into the Large category! Mo is super sweet, with a bit of a sensitive side. He's great with all dogs and even cats! Mo loves to be close to his person, so he will do best with a family who wants to include him in all of the dog friendly family outings and activities.   Interested in adopting Mo? THOR IS IN THE HOUSE! Thor is a 6 year old, neutered big Weimie Boy (93 lbs!) that is looking for his forever family! But don't let his size fool ya! He's a love! He could stand to loose a pound or 5 (hey! can't we all?!), but he is a "big boned" guy, so he would probably do best with older children. He knows his basic commands and is very eager to please! He's housebroken and crate trained and loves his people - but definitely has a prey drive, so no cats (or squirrels!). He is good with other dogs of all sizes. He's even found a crazy Doodle friend who appreciates his gentle play! He's been a "man about town" with his foster dad while learning to walk with his gentle leader. You can find him greeting folks during his daily walks on the Atlanta Beltline and sampling the veggies at the weekly Farmer's Market! He's even polite when he meets other dogs while on his leash, so if you're looking for a weim to take with you to the park and restaurants - this is your guy! Welcome, Percy the love bug! Percy (1.5 Yrs.) came into rescue with his "baby momma", Lucy. They are NOT bonded, but he would do best in a home with another dog as a companion, but we would consider an only dogs home. He loves attention from his humans and will cuddle all day with you! He is good with other dogs and has been great around small children - though he is a big guy at 83 lbs, so he could easily knock over a small child when he jumps. He's not a fan of cats or farm animals. Plus, he's crate trained! Percy needs a foster or foster-to-adopt home to get this show on the road and to his new life! Is that you? Meet Toby! Toby is an approx. 8-year-old blue Weimaraner with a calm soul and a big, loving heart. He’s happiest stretched out on the floor, enjoying a good rest, soaking up snuggles, or taking his time sniffing and exploring the outdoors. He’s not in a rush—Toby appreciates life at an easy, laid-back pace. In his foster home, Toby gets along great with his foster sister Weim, shows no reaction to the outside cats, and is especially sweet and affectionate with the teenagers and his foster mom. He’s a loving, gentle presence and would thrive in a low-key home where he can enjoy companionship, cozy naps, and leisurely outdoor time. He is heartworm positive, and will be starting treatment soon. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion to share your space, Toby might just be your perfect match. (note: Toby is currently in a temporary foster home while we look for a foster/adoptive home that will love him through treatment. AWCR pays for all medical needs.)

He is a very quick learner. He loves to run and play. He is curious about his surroundings. At 12 weeks, Shadow chases his siblings. He loves to get his teeth brushed. He chews on the toothbrush and loves the taste of the toothpaste. He has a beautiful, silky black coat. He is an adventurous puppy. He is looking for his forever home.
