Story
Arlo is a beautiful 5-year-old, 80-pound, gray male that is looking for his forever family now that he is finished with his training and is just 2 weeks from being completed with his heartworm treatment rest.  Arlo has already learned loose leash walking and place and all his commands.  He will need to be the only dog in the home as he is not dog friendly.  He is good on leash when he sees other dogs he just is not able to live with another dog. If you are looking to adopt a dog that has gone through full obedience training and willing to work with the trainer to continue and follow through with his training then apply today. He is being trained in the DFW area for introductions/inquiries. ##1948147##

Story
Clark is a 4-year-old, 78-pound, neutered male and a giant sweetie with a lot to say.  He came into rescue as a reactive, blustery street fellow, and with good socialization and a lot of work (including the help of a trainer), Clark Griswold has come a long way! Clark sings when he is excited getting ready to go for a walk.  He does well on the leash, and is a handsome runner.  His foster family has taken him running up to 8-miles, and it’s like an easy cruise for Clark.  Mr. Griswold would love to be part of your neighborhood HOA and lay down all the laws about speeding, he has worked with his foster to work with him to ignore passing cars while on the run or walk and is getting much better.  Walking with treats has helped reinforce good behavior. Clark loves toys, tearing them apart, but has never turned his attentions to destroying anything else in the house.  He will happily busy himself with a Nylabone or deer antler.  He is highly food-motivated, will surf the counters if left unsupervised, and has never met a snack without his name on it.  He currently has a male foster brother, and they wrestle and play together now.  It took a little bit of time to adjust and get to that point but he is great now.  Clark is house trained and uses a doggy door.   He does well when left out in the house while his humans are gone. The ideal forever home for Clark would be a family who can appreciate his energetic Labrador-like style and continue building his manners.  Clark loves to play tug with his toys and wrestle with his human.  He is a big dog who doesn’t yet recognize how to tone it down for little humans, and while he does well with his foster family’s 11yo kiddo, he might be a lot for a younger child. He is being fostered in the San Antonio area if you are interested in adopting him. ##1887637##

Story
Schultz is an active, gorgeous 2-year-old, 65-pound, blue Weimaraner that is looking for his forever home.  Schultz has been through training and behavior modification due to not getting along with some dogs.  He also has been treated for heartworm disease and will be done with his rest period at the end of May.  Ideally Schultz would be best without other dogs, although there is one tri-paw girl named Dahlia that he is best friends with at the boarding facility and is also available for adoption with him if a family would want to adopt them both.  Her pictures are in his profile. He loves people, is crate trained and housebroken and knows all his commands, loose leash walking, and place.  Since Schultz is very active, his best home would be one without small children. If you are interested in fostering/adopting please submit an application.  He is currently in the DFW area. ##1612840##

Story
Hank or "Hank the Tank" as he is affectionately called, is the definition of a gentle giant.  He is a 3-year-old, 80+ pound, blue, male Weimaraner.  he has never met a stranger and will be happy to greet everyone.  Don't let his intense gaze scare you, he is just looking for love.  He is very tall and can grab anything of the counter without much effort.  He won't surf in front of you, but he will surf if you leave something out when you are away.  He always wants to have something in his mouth - it doesn't matter what.  He loves to chew on toys, but will play with a blanket or a pillow as well.  He will demand snuggles if his human is still and will remind you to make good use of your hands.  He gets along great with his two foster Weim sisters, and loves to have a hard wrestle.  He is a great companion dog.  He will not leave your side while doing chores or working on a project.  He wants to be included at all time and will quickly recall if he is off exploring.  Hank would do best in a home with other dogs and where he has the ability to come and go via a dog door and with people coming and going as well.  He is being fostered in the San Antonio area if you are interested. ##1969766##
