Story
Meet Clyde, a stunning 3yearold gray Weimaraner with a big heart and an even bigger presence — about 90 pounds of affection, loyalty, and goofy charm. Clyde is a total lovebug who melts for head scratches, leans in for attention, and adores wrestling and playing with his person. He’s a smart boy with several weeks of professional training under his belt, including place, crate training, leash manners, and potty training. He’s also clickerconditioned to “Watch Me,” giving him the foundation to become a fantastic trick dog for someone who enjoys training. Clyde thrives with structure and a confident leader. Left to his own devices, he’ll make his own choices — so he needs an adopter who enjoys guiding a strong, intelligent working breed. He is crate trained, leash trained, and eager to please when he knows what’s expected. He’s not a fan of vet visits, but with patience and continued training, he’ll keep improving. Clyde should be the only dog in the home and is not suited for households with small children. Clyde is currently in the DFW metroplex and is also seeking a foster home willing to continue working with his trainer. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with tons of potential, Clyde is ready to be your loyal shadow. ##2319535##

Story
Hi, I’m Din! I’m a healthy 65-pound boy around 5 years old. I’m up to date on my shots, neutered and best of all… heartworm negative! My Foster Mom calls me her unicorn with trust issues. Let me explain… When I first arrived here, unknown noises like blinds closing or lawn mowers blaring outside made me walk away with my ears back. I was only comfortable with head pets. I growled low if petting was attempted further back, but my foster family gave me lots of time and space so after a few weeks, I felt safe and loved and they can now gently massage my whole back and legs. Now, belly rubs are my favorite! But I’m still not a big fan of noisy lawn equipment. What makes me a unicorn? So many things! I don’t love going into the kennel, but with a treat and a hand on my collar, I go in and lay down for some rest. I keep telling my foster family that I can hang out in the house without being destructive, but they haven’t let me prove it to them, yet. I haven’t counter-surfed – not even once! I didn’t even take a piece of chicken off my foster mom’s plate on the desk when she left it… and it would’ve been an easy sneak! I don’t beg when they’re eating dinner and I crack everyone up when I put my whole face in the water to drink. I also quickly learned the kitchen boundary when my people are cooking, so I don’t get under-foot. My foster mom says I’m a quick study – I can jingle the bells to ask to go out. I’ve even learned that I can push a little button on the ground to ring a doorbell that tells them I would like to come in. I don’t pull on the leash during walks, except when I see snack-sized dogs, deer, or birds. Then my sole attention is given to those shiny objects. And I don’t need marathon-length walks. I’m quite happy laying around at home with my foster mom during the day and then taking a mile or two walk after dinner. But I never say no to a quick walk during lunch. I’ve also been learning commands like sit, down, wait, and come, but I showed my foster family that I respond well to Spanish commands, so I’m learning to be bilingual! My foster family has also allowed me to sleep on the bed with my Foster Brother. He really wanted me to sleep with him, but I wasn’t sure what that was about. With lots of encouragement and some treats, I figured out how to get up there and I just LOVE it! But I also responded quickly to a firm “NO” and “OFF” when I tried to get on the couch or Foster Mom/Dad’s bed. I never did that again! Toys haven’t interested me much. My people here have been giving me all kinds of things to play with, but it wasn’t until I got to play with our neighbors’ dogs (2 Golden Retrievers and a German Shepherd mix) that I realized I can chase a ball! I love to chase it but bringing it back to you is not on my agenda. I really love wrestling with the neighbor’s German Shepherd. We chase each other and climb all over each other. It’s so fun that I run to the fence looking for them all day long. My only health issue is mild hip dysplasia. The doctor said it’s not bad enough to warrant intervention yet since I don’t show symptoms (other than some sensitivity to touch on my hips) and that I should have a good long life with proper care and love. Life has been great here and I love my foster family. But they keep telling me I’m going to get the best forever family and that I’m going to love you for the rest of my life! I’m so ready to meet you! I’m hoping you’ll give me plenty of time to get to know and trust you. I promise I’ll show you all the love, if you do! And I’d love it if you have bigger dogs already for me to play with. Older kid-siblings would probably be best since the little ones’ unpredictable movements still scare me. If you think you’re destined to be my forever family, please fill out the adoption application and let’s get this ball rolling!  I’m located in the DFW metroplex if you’d like to meet me. ##2694592##

Story
Hershey had quite a journey getting to rescue so she could find her forever home. She is a very engaged and loving girl and really enjoys her human company. Hershey lives with dogs of all sizes and ages and is good with most everyone, even the little evil one that loves to torment others. She has good house manners, can be in a crate, but isn’t a huge fan. She loves to go for rides, is great on a leash, and enjoys meeting new people, so would be a good go everywhere girl. She is not good with cats, just too curious for that species.Hershey is fully vetted - current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Charlie is a striking 1-year-old long-haired Weimaraner mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. After a scary run-in with a car, he ended up in a shelter facing an urgent “immediate rescue” situation—but thankfully, he got his second chance. Now fully recovered, Charlie is showing everyone just how special he truly is. At his core, Charlie is a big, fluffy puppy who’s full of life and enthusiasm. His playful spirit shines through in everything he does, and he brings a fun, energetic presence wherever he goes. Like many young dogs, he’s still learning his manners and working on not being mouthy, but he’s making steady progress every day. Charlie is potty trained, crate trained, and does well with other dogs that match his playful energy and personality. He’s currently in a foster home where he’s learning how to be a well-mannered companion with the help of an experienced foster and a professional trainer. This handsome young boy will thrive in an active home that will continue teaching him the ropes, give him plenty of exercise, structure, and love. Charlie’s journey is just beginning, and he’s ready to find a forever home that will help him become the amazing dog he’s meant to be.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2026, 6:05 pm

Story
Meet your new cardio coach, adventure buddy, and full-time fun girl ~ this gorgeous 3-year-old Chocolate Weimador is ready to make one lucky human the absolute center of her universe.   Roo is Part Weimaraner, part Labrador, and 100% devoted athlete, this girl is built for action and affection. She dreams of early morning runs, endless games of fetch, long hikes, and cannonball contests at the lake. Tennis balls? Obsessed. Sticks? The bigger the better. Birds? She’s convinced she was personally appointed neighborhood patrol officer. Water? She’s basically part otter.   She’s happiest when she has a job to do and a person to adore. Whether you’re training for a 5K, throwing balls until your arm falls off, or just looking for a shadow with four legs and a wagging tail, she is all in.   This sweet, energetic girl thrives on companionship and wants to be included in every adventure, every errand, every backyard game, and every couch cuddle after a long day of play. She doesn’t just want a home - she wants her person.   Roo is crate trained, housebroken, good with or without dog friends, and loves people!   If your idea of happiness includes muddy paws, wet kisses, flying tennis balls, and a loyal best friend who thinks you hung the moon, this Chocolate Weimador may just be your perfect match.   This girl deserves to be somebody’s everything buddy!   Falling for Roo!
