Arlo has already learned loose leash walking and place and all his commands. He must be the only dog in the home as he is not dog friendly. He is good on leash when he sees other dogs he just is not able to live with another dog. Schultz has been through training and behavior modification due to not getting along with other dogs. He also has been treated for heartworm disease and is done with his rest and ready to run. Ideally Schultz would be best without other dogs, although there is one tri-paw girl named Dahlia that he is best friends with at the boarding facility and is also available for adoption with him if a family would want to adopt them both. This lovely lady is the epitome of a velcro dog, always eager to lie at your feet and keep you company as you work from home. She does display hip dysplasia and can do the splits better than any cheerleader! She is crate-trained (although some separation anxiety) and walks wonderfully on a leash. She enjoys doing check-ins with you during walks, adding a touch of sweetness to your daily strolls. Her hip dysplasia gives her a unique little hop when she walks or runs, making her even more endearing. Initially a bit skittish around men, JuneBug has blossomed into a calm and sweet companion who adores her people. She has grown to love her walks and gets excited when it's time to go out, making every outing a joyful experience. Vader is a sweet, chill dog who needs tender, loving care. This gentle boy, unfortunately, came from a cruelty case where he was left in an apartment for several days. Despite struggling through a rough patch in his life, and being in shelter care for 5 months, he still kept his manners. Favorably, Mister Vader comprehends many commands--including Paw, Sit, Stay, Lay Down, and how to get into his kennel! Such a smart pup! He loves his treats, does anything to get one, and is not aggressive with his food. Keeping Vader clean is easy. Just be sure he is comfortable and calm and he will love it! This boy is also 7 years young! Vader loves to play ball and with his other toys, so having a fun game of fetch is an excellent way to entertain the pupper! While he likes to meet other dogs, Vader often likes to mind his own business; even pulling a bit on the leash to get an in-depth whiff of his surroundings. Vader is curious! Though very sweet with children, he gets too excited at first meeting them and may scare some little ones with Zoomies. If you take Vader home, he would love you endlessly, sneaking in an extra long cuddle for good measure; if he's feeling extra lovey, he's willing for a hug too! If you're looking for a great family pet to play with your kids, your other dogs, or just to take with you hiking Oreo is a great option. He is 2 1/2 years old, has been professionally trained, regularly socialized, and is up to date on all of his medical records. He has never shown aggression over food, toys, or anything else he likes. I've done a lot to make sure Oreo is a great dog. He needs more space and companionship than I am able to give him unfortunately but I feel he would be a great blessing to the right family. You're a great potential owner for Oreo if you: - Love animals - Have a decent amount of space and time for Oreo - Have children and/or dogs (not required but he would do great with either) - Have references (vet, doggie daycare, etc) - Are able to care for a young, active dog The adoption fee is negotiable, I'm much more interested in finding Oreo somewhere great.
