Romeo oh Romeo.  Romeo is a very handsome 4 year old male coming in right around 80lbs. Although he is a Big boy he would love to lay in your lap at night when it’s time for snuggles. During the day he loves to play with his foster siblings outside. His favorite activity is digging holes while hunting lizards under rocks. He is dog door trained. It would be best for him to have access to outside when needed.  An ideal home for Romeo would have other dogs for him to wrestle and hunt with as well as a nice property for him to explore. He has always been with at least one other dogs and does great in a pack environment. He is not the alpha and likes to just go along. He loves to explore and go on adventures. He has a great nose and will bring home all sorts of special gifts such as animal remains or armadillo shells.  If you give him the opportunity to be naughty he will. He will counter surf if items are there as well as get into trash if he can open it. Does great unsupervised, not in a crate, with sibling as long as food and trash are secured. If crated use caution with his tail. He has an unaltered tail that likes to bleed on the tip when constantly hitting the crate or wall.  Romeo is in the San Antonio area if you are interested in adopting him. ##2418299##

Meet Booray! Booray is a sweet 13-year-old senior boy who is a treat-motivated dog and who listens well and responds nicely to leash guidance. He quickly picked up basic commands like Heel and Sit, even with distractions nearby, showing impressive concentration and willingness to learn. Booray thrives with positive reinforcement and is eager to please. Booray has some hearing and vision impairments, so he relies heavily on his sense of smell. He can be startled if approached unexpectedly, especially when resting, so announcing your presence with his name and a clap is recommended. Because of this, Booray would do best in a home without children. He’s learning crate training and has shown little anxiety so far. Hershey lives with dogs of all sizes and ages and is good with most everyone, even the little evil one that loves to torment others.She has good house manners, can be in a crate, but isn’t a huge fan. She loves to go for rides, is great on a leash, and enjoys meeting new people, so would be a good go everywhere girl. She is not good with cats, just too curious for that species.Hershey is fully vetted - current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

We have unexpectedly found ourselves fostering this very sweet boy and are in urgent need of a loving home for him. We are located in Dallas, where the animal shelters are currently overwhelmed (DAS is operating at over 160% capacity). Because of the high euthanasia risk in local shelters, we are committed to keeping him safe and out of any kill shelter. We are loving pet parents ourselves and have been doing everything we can to care for him, but due to our current work schedules and lifestyle, and two large dogs in our home, we are not able to provide the level of fostering and attention he truly deserves long-term. He is fully vaccinated and has been treated/preventatively cared for medically. We can provide all vet records. We are actively networking through every avenue we can because he truly is a wonderful dog. We genuinely believe that with the right home, love, and attention, he will make someone incredibly happy.

Jaida will be 12 years old at the beginning of July, she still has some good years left in her. She enjoys walks/ hikes and occasionally playing fetch with a ball. Her favorite thing is sunbathing in the yard if someone is with her, or a quiet, comfortable space of her own inside to lounge. She is a true companion dog. Being outside alone can cause anxiety if she hears a scary noise like thunder, etc. She can be described as highly intelligent, charming, diva, princess. She is a great dog for someone that has NO KIDS and preferably no other pets. She does well with big dogs that are calm but is used to being an only child. She has urinary incontinence that cannot be fully treated with medication nor surgery. So, she wears diapers inside. Please contact me for more info if you think you can be a good match or would like to set up a trial stay/ meet and greet. We have loved Jaida her whole life. We are looking for the right person to love her for the rest.
