Quigley is a fun little terrier mix, about 10 pounds and close to 3 years old. He is full of energy, vibrant, cuddly, and guaranteed to make you smile every time you look at him. Quigley is just the right size to curl up in your lap, be held in your arms, or travel along with you on visits and adventures. He is easygoing, good with people and other dogs, and although he hasn’t been introduced to cats yet, we think he would likely do fine with them too. This sweet boy is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and current on his shots—ready to start his new life with a lucky adopter. Quigley is the kind of companion who will quickly become your best friend. His adoption fee is $475 If you are interested, please email us at alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com to request an adoption application. We are looking for someone committed to giving him the time and love he needs to settle into his forever home. Currently in foster care near Victorville CA and will need to be met and picked up there.

Story
Lilo is an approximately 10-year-old, 8-pound sweetheart with a gentle and peaceful nature. Petite and dainty, she’s the kind of dog who is happiest simply being near her people. She loves cuddling, enjoys quiet companionship, and has the softest, most soulful eyes. Lilo gets along well with both people and other dogs and would thrive in a calm home where she can relax and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. One of her favorite pastimes is stretching out beneath her shaded dog bed to soak up the warm sunshine. She also enjoys leisurely sniff walks and spending time close to her favorite humans. This precious little girl is content with a slower-paced lifestyle filled with love, comfort, and plenty of cozy places to nap. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily spend her days by your side, Lilo may be your perfect match.

Story
Hello there… I’m Lulu — a tiny 8-lb Yorkshire Terrier mix with the sweetest heart I’m 8 years old, spayed, and friendly with absolutely everyone. I love being held, I love meeting new people, and I adore being close to someone who makes me feel safe. I looooove belly scratches. I do have diabetes, which means I need insulin every day and special food to stay healthy. But I feel great and show no signs of illness. I’m very easy about my routine — I just need someone compassionate and committed… the kind of person with a true Mother Theresa heart who can love and care for me for the rest of my life. Other than my daily insulin, I’m incredibly low-maintenance: cuddly, calm, cheerful, and always ready to give love. If you’re someone with a big heart — someone who can give a tiny girl like me the consistent care and forever love I’ve been waiting for — I’d be so grateful to call you mine. Much Love, Lulu.

Story
Sassy senior looking for a loving home to enjoy her golden years in.... Meet BlueJay who is a female, approx 13 year old, 8lb Yorkie/Chihuahua mix that is the cutest thing ever! Bluejay came to us when we were contacted by the Carson Shelter asking for help. This sweet senior was dumped when her owner passed away and the adult daughter did not want to care for her mother's beloved dog, so she took her to the shelter where she was discarded like trash. Thankfully, the shelter did reach out and we were more than happy to take her into our foundation. Her name was Sassy and we renamed her BlueJay, but we can see why she was called Sassy....lol! She is spunky and sweet all rolled into one! We think she would do best as your one and only dog or she could be in the home with a calm/quiet/submissive dog. She likes her space when she sleeps so sometimes she gets a bit grumpy when a dog try to scoot in with her. We have had a full dental done on her. Per the shelter records, they are not 100% sure she is spayed and at this time in her life, our vet feels it's too much of a risk for exploratory surgery/spay. BlueJay definitely needs a home where the owners are not gone long hours during the day. She is definitely sight impaired and to what extent, we don't know but she must be able to see shadows as once she knows her layout of the home, she can make her way around perfectly fine. BlueJay is a dog that needs full/professional grooming every 6 weeks. She will not let you do it and it's safer and better for a professional groomer to do it. She is an absolutely adorable little dog that you can take with you everywhere you go! She is great in the car and enjoys being with her person! BlueJay deserves a caring and loving forever home where she can live out her golden years full of happiness! BlueJay is vaccinated and microchipped. We only adopt in The Greater LA areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial are required. Please contact us at gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020

Story
Meet Tom — The Sweetest Soul You’ll Ever Know 🐾 At just 2 years old, Tom is ready to leave his difficult past behind and find the loving family he deserves. Tom was rescued from a ranch where he had been severely neglected and covered in ticks. Despite everything he’s been through, he has remained incredibly gentle, kind-hearted, and eager to love. Watching him learn that people can be safe and caring has been nothing short of amazing. Now safe in foster care, Tom is slowly blossoming into the wonderful dog he was always meant to be. Each day his personality shines a little brighter. He loves the company of other dogs and gains confidence from having canine friends around him. When he’s with other dogs, his playful, happy side truly comes alive. Tom would do best in a home with another friendly dog who can help show him the ropes and continue building his confidence. With patience, love, and a little encouragement, he’s proving that he’s ready to embrace the good life. Tom is neutered, learning his potty training and leash skills, and making incredible progress every day. More than anything, he’s looking for someone willing to give him the chance he’s never had—a family of his own. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion whose gratitude will last a lifetime, Tom may be your perfect match. ❤️🐾 Tom’s past doesn’t define him. His future is waiting. ✨
