Story
If Pepe could talk, he would have a sad story to tell. This little guy was found as a stray in bad shape. He had scabies, malnourished, prolapsed anus from chronic diarrhea, infested with fleas and had lost so much blood, he needed a blood transfusion. He’s on the fast track to a full recovery. Putting on weight, coat is looking good, active/happy, still working on the poo issue - poo got too firm and caused him to prolapse again. Foster is monitoring and in contact with our vet to make sure he’s okay and on the mend. He’s not a hyper, nervous, yapper. He’s more of a chill lap dog. Professional napper and cuddler.

Story
Breed: Yorkshire Terrier Age: 6 months Weight: 8 lbs. Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unsure Good with kids: unsure Energy level: unsure Good with men/strangers: yes Hypoallergenic: no Special home requirements or medical: none Additional info: Lala is a silly little love bug! She is a true lapdog and will velcro herself to you as soon as you show her love and safety. She likes to go on walks and is generally very brave about new places, people, and experiences (e.g. baths, blow dryers, vacuums, coffee shops). She'll sit calmly for hours in your lap, and that's definitely her favorite place to be - even jumping up with her front paws in the air asking to be held at times. She's still working on potty training and getting over some separation anxiety. Can be vocal when she wants something but isn't an incessant barker at road noises or other dogs barking. Absolutely ready to be anyone and everyone's new best friend! INTERESTED IN THIS PUP? Story
Maggie is a one to two year year-old 5 to 6 pound purebred Yorkie. She came to us after a breeder’s house burned down. Maggie is shy and takes a little time to come around, but once she does, she does very well with her people. Maggie is with other dogs and kids, is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be spayed. Due to her size, we do think it would be best if Maggie was in a home with older children.

Story
Derrick was born March 12 in his current foster home. His mom came into our care after a backyard breeders home burned down and we were able to take in her as well as a few other moms to be. Derrick is the most timid of his litter to start but once he warms up, he is loving and playful. He is good with other dogs and kids. We would prefer for him to go into Home with slightly older kids because of his size, but if your child has dog experience and is younger, that could be considered. Derrick Is not yet house trained, however, he is currently on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.

Story
Lexi was born in Rescue after we took in her mom from a backyard breeder whose home caught on fire. Lexi is now three months old and ready for her forever home. Her mom is a purebred Yorkie And we were told there were only Yorkies and silkies on the property, however, we think there might’ve been something else based on the puppies appearance. Lexi is currently on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed.
