Story
I am a small breed dog who will be at home in you lap, being carried and going on adventures. I like it all and have plenty of energy for anything you have planned! I am talkative when excited or feel like I want to be a part of the conversation. I am a snuggle bug and hope my new human can keep me close and give me lots of affection. I am a smart doggo and know sit and lay down but can`t wait to learn more. I pull a little on the leash when I smell something good and will do best with a halter rather then a collar but could use a little more training on how to walk politely. Even though I need to learn some manners I am an easy dog to take for walks and am good at not getting under foot while inside or outside. While I am still learning my manners I will do best with older kids or dog savvy kiddos because I can jump up when excited and my be to much for a small kiddo. I do have a small independent side and would not mind having an area to explore at my leisure. My new home needs a secure fence to ensure I don`t escape while following a scent with my nose. I will need consistent grooming to make sure my curly locks don`t get matted but my care takers have notices I am patient with grooming and even enjoy playing a bit of dress up. Come visit me at Regional Animal Services of King County is located at the following address: 21615 64th Ave. S., Kent, WA, 98032. Our business hours are Monday-Friday 12PM to 6PM and Saturday-Sunday 12PM to 5PM.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Seattle💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Soobin❤️ 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. * Her coat was severely matted right after her rescue, so she has been completely shaved for her health and comfort. 2.) Rescue Story * Soobin was rescued on the day Adogs was volunteering at the Gimje City Shelter to prepare for winter. At the time, an infectious disease was spreading through the shelter, and the weather was becoming increasingly cold. Realizing Soobin would not be able to survive those conditions, we urgently brought her into our care. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Can be a bit cautious around strangers, but she isn’t naturally timid. Once she gets used to someone, she is likely to open up quickly. * With Dogs: Tends to bark warily when she sees other dogs moving in front of her. * With Cats: Has not been introduced to them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Difficult to determine at this time as she is currently living in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Since she lives at our center, she currently only relieves herself outdoors. * Hygiene: Received grooming at a professional groomer’s and she did well. * Walks: Due to her ongoing heartworm treatment, her walks are strictly restricted, so her leash manners are yet to be determined. * Car Sickness: Doesn’t have car sickness and rides in the car well! * Has shown no signs of biting or mouthing. * Barking: Barks sensitively at the movements of other dogs, but this may be due to the unfamiliar environment. We are continuing to monitor her. * Likes: Loves treats! Even if she is feeling a bit shy about being touched, she will still accept treats from your hand.

Chewbacca is the sweetest little nugget you'll ever meet who is always at your side snuggled up. He's a terrier though, so he can be feisty walking by other dogs on a leash but he's all bark and no bite. He adores his people and would do best in a home with children, another playful small dog and a family who is home often. He does mark inside on occasion but is housetrained most of the time. He His fee is $850. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION IF INTERESTED AT: www.recycleddogsrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
Duty Free is a one year old Yorkshire Terrier. He is a gentle and extremely sweet Yorkie who has already become a loving member of his foster family. Duty has adapted well to his post-rescue life, and in only a few short weeks has opened up and showed his true personality. He now fully trusts his two fosters, wagging his tail every time he sees them and enthusiastically following them and trying to engage them in play. He thoroughly enjoys running around and playing with his cat friend and could be introduced into a multi-pet household. His favorite part of the day is couch time, where he cuddles on your lap while you brush him (which instantly calms him). He is still learning how to walk outside on a leash (if he gets nervous, he’ll just lie down on the ground) but is getting better every day, and is definitely becoming more comfortable and active outdoors. Duty is currently living in downtown Seattle, but a family that likes long walks or has a fenced yard to run around in would probably make him very happy. Duty Free naps throughout the day and will sleep through the night. He sleeps in his dog bed, which is kept in the living room during the day and in the bedroom at night. He has grown a healthy appetite and loves his food. He’s also an easy dog to groom, patiently taking baths. Duty is very calm and well-behaved in the car. He is very smart and will be very trainable once he feels comfortable. He is still learning how consistently to go to the bathroom outside, but this is increasing in frequency in both a pet area and on walks in the park. He still need some puppy pads inside, but hits them 9 out of 10 times now, which is a massive improvement in such a short amount of time. Duty Free doesn’t exhibit any aggressive or otherwise concerning behavior; the main areas he’s working through are general shyness, especially on walks, and potty training. He is becoming somewhat motivated by treats, but praise seems to be having an even better effect. Despite what he’s been through, he’s soaking up love and interaction like a sponge and is trying so hard to be a good dog. Once he finds his forever home, he’ll be such a happy and loving part of his new family. *A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
* Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.
