Meet Soobin❤️ 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, currently undergoing heartworm treatment, and fully recovered from coronavirus and giardia. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Soobin was rescued on the day Adogs was volunteering at the Gimje City Shelter to prepare for winter. At the time, an infectious disease was spreading through the shelter, and the weather was becoming increasingly cold. Realizing Soobin would not be able to survive those conditions, we urgently brought her into our care. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Can be a bit cautious around strangers, but she isn’t naturally timid. Once she gets used to someone, she is likely to open up quickly. * With Dogs: Tends to bark warily when she sees other dogs moving in front of her. * With Cats: Has not been introduced to them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Difficult to determine at this time as she is currently living in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Since she lives at our center, she currently only relieves herself outdoors. * Hygiene: Received grooming at a professional groomer’s and she did well. * Walks: Due to her ongoing heartworm treatment, her walks are strictly restricted, so her leash manners are yet to be determined. * Car Sickness: Doesn’t have car sickness and rides in the car well! * Biting: Has shown no signs of biting or mouthing. * Barking: Barks sensitively at the movements of other dogs, but this may be due to the unfamiliar environment. We are continuing to monitor her. * Likes: Loves treats! Even if she is feeling a bit shy about being touched, she will still accept treats from your hand.

Story
Chloe and Callie are two 9-month-old best friends who do everything together and truly thrive as a pair. These little girls are full of personality, confidence, and affection, and they’re hoping to find a family that will welcome them as a package deal. Callie is a long-coat Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix and is deaf, which hasn’t slowed her down one bit. She’s incredibly outgoing, playful, and affectionate, and relies on visual cues and her bond with Chloe to navigate the world. Chloe, a purebred Yorkshire Terrier, brings classic Yorkie energy and sass. She’s social, bouncy, and loves being right in the middle of everything. Together, they are talkative, joyful, and endlessly entertaining. These girls adore people and are happiest when they’re close, whether that’s sitting on a lap, popping up for kisses, or bouncing around hoping to be included in whatever you’re doing. They are friendly with strangers, tolerant of handling, and seem to love everyone they meet. Their high energy and excitement mean they’d do best with teens and adults who can keep up with them and appreciate their lively nature. Chloe and Callie are still puppies at heart and will need continued training, including potty training and leash skills. Because Callie is deaf and Chloe is a flight risk, a home with secure entry is required. They are also quite vocal and excitable, so shared walls may not be the best fit. A fenced yard is not required, but safe management and supervision are important. Their future family should have deaf dog experience for Callie and breed experience for Chloe, as well as the time and patience to continue guiding them as they grow. In return, they’ll offer nonstop companionship, laughter, and love. If you’re looking for a bonded pair who will keep life fun, fill your home with personality, and remind you daily why having two dogs is better than one, Chloe and Callie may be your perfect match. Chloe & Callie are spayed, healthy, and adopted together.

Chewbacca is the sweetest little nugget you'll ever meet who is always at your side snuggled up. He's a terrier though, so he can be feisty walking by other dogs on a leash but he's all bark and no bite. He adores his people and would do best in a home with children, another playful small dog and a family who is home often. He does mark inside on occasion but is housetrained most of the time. He His fee is $850. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION IF INTERESTED AT: www.recycleddogsrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
Duty Free is a one year old Yorkshire Terrier. He is a very gentle and sweet Yorkie who will be a loving part of any family. Duty was extremely timid when he first arrived, but would still quietly let you pick him up and carry him around. When carried, he will cuddle up to you and put his head on your shoulder. He’s quickly become much more trusting and comfortable in his foster situation and enjoys playing with his toys, chewing on rawhide, and running around with his new cat friend. Duty is still shy around new people, but is fine being petted. He is enthusiastic about meeting new animals, both dogs and cats, and could be introduced into a multi-pet household. Duty is still learning how to walk outside on a leash. He’s a little baffled by stairs, but is very curious about the outside world and gets better every day. He’s becoming more energetic, and more active outdoors. A family that likes long walks or has a fenced yard to run around in would probably make him very happy. He has a healthy appetite but enough self-control to be fed at-will. He is extremely easy to groom, patiently taking baths and actually enjoying being brushed. And he’s very calm and well-behaved in the car. And, despite his new zest for life, Duty Free still really enjoys cuddling and lap time, and is perfectly happy getting his belly rubbed as he snoozes next to you on the couch. “ Duty Free naps throughout the day and will sleep through most of the night, although he’ll occasionally get up and want to play with his cat friend during the night. He sleeps in his bed, which is kept in the living room during the day and in the bedroom at night. Duty Free is still learning how to go to the bathroom outside; he will do it occasionally, in a pet area more than on walks, and will need some pee pads until he is fully trained. Note that he’s a boy, so I’ve taped some pee pads about six inches up the wall in certain places to catch it all. Duty Free doesn’t exhibit any aggressive or otherwise concerning behavior; the main areas he’s working through are general shyness, especially on walks, and potty training. He doesn’t appear to be motivated by treats, but praise seems to be having a good effect. He is good with other dogs and cats and sits well in a car. Duty Free is an extremely sweet young Yorkie. Despite what he’s been through, he’s soaking up love and interaction like a sponge and is trying so hard to be a good dog. Once he finds his forever home, he’ll be such a happy and loving part of his new family. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.
