Chewbacca is the sweetest little nugget you'll ever meet who is always at your side snuggled up. He's a terrier though, so he can be feisty walking by other dogs on a leash but he's all bark and no bite. He adores his people and would do best in a home with children, another playful small dog and a family who is home often. He does mark inside on occasion but is housetrained most of the time. He His fee is $850. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION IF INTERESTED AT: www.recycleddogsrescue.org/adoption-application

Cuddles! Cuddles is just looking for someone to give her all of them! Cuddles recently lost her senior human, and misses having that special person of her own. Cuddles is believed to be a doxy-poo, is mid size, and was just groomed to remove years of matted and neglected coat. Look how adorable she is! Cuddles had a few pounds to lose, and is already down to her goal weight under the loving care of her fosters! Cuddles has lived with multiple dogs (10!) so should do well in a home with another dog, or dogs, as long as she has a person to give her the love she craves. Cuddles may be slightly reserved on first meeting, but then just watch her lean into all the pets and and snuggles - she earns her name "Cuddles". Cuddles is spayed and current on all vaccinations as a part of her adoption donation.

Story
Orleans is an adorable, gentle Yorkie who is still learning to come out of her shell. She has made incredible progress—from staying in her kennel to curling up on the sofa with her foster family. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even the cat, finding comfort in their presence. Orleans is working on potty training, both outside and on puppy pads. She’s treat-motivated and happily goes outside when she knows a reward is waiting for her. Because she’s naturally timid, Orleans would do best in a calm home with patient adults or older children. She would also benefit from a confident dog companion who can help her adjust to a daily routine. With love, patience, and positive reinforcement, Orleans will continue to blossom and become a devoted and loving companion. ----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.

Story
Meet Prescot, a sweet and affectionate pup who’s ready to find his forever home! This adorable boy loves his squeaky toys and bones, always eager for a little playtime. He’s also quite the fetch enthusiast—while he hasn’t quite mastered the command yet, he’ll happily chase after a ball and may even bring it back to you! Prescot is doing well with potty training, using puppy pads consistently, though sometimes excitement gets the best of him. Mealtime can be a bit of a distraction with all his fun toys around, but a simple trick—putting the toys away—helps him stay focused on eating. This little guy is learning new things every day! He’s currently working on commands like “sit,” “come here,” “stop,” and “bed,” and he already knows himself by the nickname Boog. He’s also naturally gentle when taking treats or bones, making him a joy to train. Prescot enjoys snuggling and always wants to be touching his foster when he sleeps—it’s his way of staying close and feeling secure. He thrives on attention and social play, making him a great companion for an active and loving family. While he’s still getting used to his kennel, he stays calm once inside. If you’re looking for a loving, playful pup who adores companionship, Prescot might just be the perfect match for you! ----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Quick Facts Name: Henry Birthday: 8 years (Born Jan 1, 2017) Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Maltese Color: White Weight: 2.4kg   All About MeHello, future family! I’m Henry, a sweet and gentle soul with a lot of love to give. At 8 years old, I’m a little guy who may seem shy at first, but once I trust you, I’m all about cuddles and affection. I’m a Maltese, and I’ve got the softest white fur that you’ll love to pet.   My PersonalityI might be small, but I’ve got a big heart! I may seem a little shy when we first meet, but a tasty treat is all it takes for me to warm up to you. Once I feel comfortable, I’m ready to be your best friend. I enjoy my personal space at first, but it doesn’t take me long to open up to new faces, especially if you’re kind and patient with me. I’m not the most outgoing with other dogs—I prefer to keep my distance. But don’t worry, I’m gentle and peaceful, and if things get a bit too rowdy, I’m quick to step away and find a quieter spot. I’m much more focused on my people and love spending time with them.   On My WalksWhen it comes to walks, I’m not in a rush—I enjoy leisurely strolls where we can take our time and enjoy the scenery together. I may pull a little on the leash at first, but I do my best to follow along with you.   Life at HomeI’m a calm and affectionate little guy who loves the quiet moments with my family. I’m not too active, and I tend to keep to myself at first, but once I feel safe, I’ll snuggle up next to you for some quality time. I don’t guard my food and I rarely bark. I am potty trained indoor and outdoor also I feel comfortable in a kennel.   My Ideal HomeI’m looking for a home where I can feel safe and loved. A family that’s patient and willing to give me the time I need to feel comfortable would be perfect. Here’s what I dream of:- A Calm, Loving Environment – A peaceful home where I can relax and be myself.- Gentle Companionship – I’d love to live with people who are kind and gentle, and I’d prefer a home without other rowdy dogs or to be only fur baby.- Plenty of Love & Attention – I may be small, but my heart is huge, and I can’t wait to share it with the right family!   Last MessageIf you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who will slowly but surely become your best friend, I might just be the perfect fit for you. Let’s take things slow and enjoy each other’s company—I can’t wait to meet you!   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Henry's YouTube Playlist ##2301029##

Meet Jake and Einstein! Oh my, these two are the sweetest little boys. Their owner sadly moved into a memory care facility and could not bring the boys with him. They were left alone in the home for several weeks before other family members reached out to us to surrender them. We're glad to have them in a foster home! They are wonderful.  Jake and Einstein are senior boys. Jake is around 12 and Einstein around 10. They are in pretty good shape and don't ask for much.  These two sweethearts are the definition of easy-going – low energy, low maintenance, and full of love. They thrive on companionship and are happiest when they’re close to their humans, whether snuggled up on the couch or quietly keeping you company around the house. Both dogs are incredibly affectionate and gentle, making them perfect companions for families, kids, seniors, or anyone looking for loyal, loving sidekicks. They’re also cat-friendly and get along with everyone they meet – a true pair of social butterflies! Jake and Einstein have been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Jake is going to get a good grooming soon too. Their combined adoption fee is $400   We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
