Hey there! I’m new to Rescue Gang.I just arrived and I'm still getting settled in. The team is taking time to help me feel safe and learn all about my unique quirks and personality.Since Rescue Gang is a foster-based rescue, most of us live in private homes. That means you’ll need an approved application to chat with my foster and learn more about me.If you’re interested, email adopt@rescuegang.org to apply to ask questions. I can’t wait to meet my future family!

Story
Hi. I’m Benny — Founder of Fluff, Director of Drama, and your Full-Time Luxury Experience. Let’s address the hair first. Yes, I woke up like this. No, it’s not tameable. This gravity-defying masterpiece requires upkeep — regular spa days every 4–6 weeks, thank you very much. Greatness like this doesn’t just happen. If you’re not prepared to commit to professional grooming, we may not be a match. I am art, and art requires maintenance. I’m fluffy, fabulous, and powered by playful chaos. I prance instead of walk, hop instead of run, and enter every room like it’s my stage and you’ve been waiting all day for me (you have). I’m a confident little explorer, but I do like to check in with my humans — mostly to confirm you’re still properly impressed. Cuddles? Absolutely. I’ll melt into your arms like a tiny cloud. Just don’t get too comfortable — in about 30 seconds I’ll reboot and be ready to party again. I’m great with kids, dog-approved, cat-curious, and still mastering potty training (I am a baby, after all — perfection takes time). Now, about those lifestyle expectations: I’m what the professionals call “high maintenance.” Grooming every 4–6 weeks is non-negotiable, and dental care is a must since little dogs like me are prone to dental issues — annual cleanings are typically part of the plan starting around age five. A wardrobe is strongly encouraged (seasonal options preferred), and with these little legs, being carried isn’t spoiling me — it’s practical. I will repay you generously in kisses. I’m smart, eager, busy, affectionate, and just the right amount of dramatic. I’ll be your shadow, your entertainment, your grooming appointment reminder, and your whole heart. If you’re ready for a playful, fabulous, high-maintenance best friend with a hairstyle that refuses to be ignored — Benny is accepting forever-home applications now.   All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. If you are interested in meeting this animal, please complete an adoption application on our website: https://www.BestPawsRescue.com   Spay/Neuter PolicyAny animal that has not been spayed or neutered at the time of adoption will require a signed Spay/Neuter Agreement and a refundable $100 deposit (payable by check or electronic payment). The procedure must be completed within six (6) months of the adoption date. Once Best Paws Rescue receives acceptable proof of the spay/neuter procedure, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter.Failure to comply with the terms of the Spay/Neuter Agreement within the required six (6) months will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If the procedure is performed by one of Best Paws Rescue’s approved veterinary partners, the full cost of the spay/neuter is covered by the adoption fee. Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts. ##2652120##

Story
About Me: Name: Miracle Mars and Pop Rocks Poppy Breed (or best guess): Yorkie Mix and Chihuahua mix Approximate Age: 1 yr, 1 yr Gender: Male Approximate Weight: 8 lb, 7 lb Adoption Fee: $890 Requirements: Loving Family, Bonded Pair Why In Rescue:  Texas Transfer Profile:   Miracle Mars and Pop Rocks Poppy came to us from Texas after they were given up by their owners.  They are happy and playful dogs waiting for a loving family.  We don't get a history or background on the dogs, so are learning more about them everyday.  They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated for Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella and Rabies, heartworm and tick tested and started on prevention, had a health exam, and microchipped.  If interested in adoption, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  If link isn't clickable, please copy/paste or visit http://www.bichonrescues.com.  Please note, filling out inquiry forms on Petfinder or Adoptapet and/or their application forms does not constitute an application for one of our dogs.  Priority in responding to inquires and applications is always to the applications filled out on our website, time constraints limit the number of other inquires we can reply to. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $495 for most adults and up to $650 for puppies which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $100 (up to $260 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS February 9, 2026, 7:38 pm
