Meet Cooper the 10‑lb cuddlebug with a gentle heart! Cooper is a 2‑year‑old Yorkie/Dachshund mix who’s equal parts adorable & devoted. He starts off a little shy, but once he decides you’re his person, he melts right into you. This boy is a professional lap snuggler & would happily spend his days curled up with his favorite human. Cooper walks nicely on leash, is crate trained, neutered, & up to date on shots. He hasn’t been around cats yet, so slow introductions or a cat‑free home would be best. Because he’s a sensitive little guy, Cooper will do best in a calmer home with kids 12 & up who can respect his space while he settles in. If you’re looking for a small companion with a soft spirit & a big snuggle quota, Cooper might just be your perfect match. I am delighted to share news about two 3-year-old Yorkie mix puppies, Milo and Toby, whom I received today from Jane Montague Klann Honer. Unfortunately, due to a family move, these sweet brothers were surrendered, despite their loving nature. The boys, who are bonded, require a new home with ample space and room in their hearts for both. They have received all necessary vaccinations and have been neutered. Upon intake, they were found to be heavily matted and were subsequently shaved; however, their Yorkshire Terrier-like coats will regrow beautifully. They are being fostered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I am still learning about Milo and Toby but am more than happy to answer any questions. Apply to adopt at www.nbstr.org
