About Dolly BREED: Yorkie Physical Traits: Adult (5.5 years) Female Small (6 pounds) Silver/Tan BEHAVIOR: House Trained: Working towards. Does not mess her crate, and will potty outside. Spayed/Neutered: Will be covered by Tiny Paws. Vaccinated: Yes Special Needs: No Dolly's Compatibility Kids -Unknown Dogs – Some reactivity when stressed Cats – Yes Other Animals – Unknown Adoption Fee is required Meet Dolly! Dolly is a 5.5-year-old, 6-pound retired breeder Yorkshire Terrier with a personality as sweet as her adorable smile! With her one little tooth and precious tongue always peeking out, she has a look that is guaranteed to melt hearts. This affectionate girl loves giving kisses and enjoys being close to her people. Whether she's following her foster mom around the yard or curling up for a cozy nap on the couch, Dolly is happiest when she's spending time with her family. Dolly sleeps in her crate at night and is learning all about life as a beloved companion. As with many retired breeder dogs, she will require a secure fenced yard, as these dogs can be a flight risk while adjusting to their new homes. Dolly has shown some reactivity toward other dogs when she becomes excited or startled. However, she has also successfully spent time off-leash in the yard with other dogs, so careful introductions and continued guidance will help set her up for success. Tiny Paws will cover Dolly's upcoming spay, and an adoption fee is required. If you're looking for a tiny shadow who will follow you around, shower you with kisses, and make you smile every time you see that adorable tongue sticking out, Dolly may be the perfect addition to your family. If you have any questions about Dolly, please send your questions to Kristina at kbdean2112@gmail.com. Dolly is being fostered in Kenosha, WI. Interested in giving Dolly the loving home she deserves, please complete a Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue online adoption application at https://www.tinypawssmalldogrescue.org

Story
About Cinnamon BREED: Yorkie (chocolate) Physical Traits: Young (3.5 years) Female Small (4 pounds) Chocolate/light brown BEHAVIOR: House Trained: working on, enjoys walking in the yard and will potty outside Spayed/Neutered: not yet, to be covered by Tiny Paws Vaccinated: Yes Special Needs: No Cinnamon’s Compatibility Kids -Unknown Dogs – Walks in yard with other dogs. Occasionally will growl and show aggression towards them. Cats – Unknown Other Animals – Unknown Adoption Fee is required Cinnamon’s Story Cinnamon is a sweet 3.5 year-old Yorkie that weighs about four pounds. She’s looking for her forever home through Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue and is fostered in Kenosha, WI. Since arriving in her foster home, Cinnamon is learning what it means to be loved, spoiled, and part of a family. Cinnamon's favorite things? Being close to her people, chewing on her favorite stuffies, soaking up attention, and flashing that adorable smile. She may be tiny, but she has plenty of personality packed into her little frame! Like many retired breeders, Cinnamon is still learning social skills. She can be uncertain around other dogs and may display aggression at times, so she will need a patient adopter who understands her background and is willing to help her continue building confidence. A home where introductions are managed carefully—and possibly one where she can be the center of attention—may be the best fit for her. Cinnamon will require a fenced yard, as retired breeders can be a flight risk. Cinnamon currently uses a crate to sleep, but loves napping on the couch with her foster mom. She also follows her all over the yard, and has excited little bursts of energy as she experiences her new found freedom. She loves to give kisses, and enjoys belly rubs. Cinnamon is looking for someone who will see past where she came from and focus on where she's going. With patience, understanding, and lots of love, this little girl has the potential to blossom into a devoted companion. If you're looking for a tiny companion with a sweet face, a playful spirit, and room in her heart to grow, Cinnamon may be the perfect match. If you have any questions about Cinnamon, please send your questions to Kristina at kbdean2112@gmail.com. If you would like to make Cinnamon part of your family, please complete a Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue online adoption application at https://www.tinypawssmalldogrescue.org

Available Soon: Name: Mr Toodles Breed (or best guess): Yorkie (or mix) Approximate Age:  3 years Gender: M Approximate Weight: 10 lb Adoption Fee: $495 Requirements: Loving Family Why In Rescue: Texas transfer Profile:  More information soon, but you can apply now! We do put the needs of the dog's first, so it is nothing personal if we determine a particular dog isn't suitable for your specific home and living situation. If interested in adoption, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  If link isn't clickable, please copy/paste or visit http://www.bichonrescues.com.  Please note, filling out inquiry forms on Petfinder or Adoptapet and/or their application forms does not constitute an application for one of our dogs.  Priority in responding to inquires and applications is always to the applications filled out on our website, time constraints limit the number of other inquires we can reply to. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $495 for most adults and up to $650 for puppies which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $100 (up to $260 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS July 18, 2026, 10:53 pm
